A few days ago LG released an official update for LG Optimus One P500 which allowed the users to update to Gingerbread 2.3.3.
needless to say that i have done so myself and enjoying every moment of it.
Now, there has been another update made available by LG which updates the current Gingerbread to V20c from V20b which was previously
I have uploaded the new Stock Gingerbread 2.3.3 Rom V20c (.kdz format) for LG Optimus One P500 and you can download it from here and flash it onto your Optimus One if you would like to do so.
This ROM cannot be rooted as easily as the Froyo counterpart (i.e. with Apps like Gingerbreak, Z4Root, etc) but can be done quite easily by following this tutorial. Just make sure that you read and follow the instructions to the word.
Thanks a lot if i could be of any help.

Is this the worldwide stock rom? Or is it country specific.
I am asking because my phone is telling me that V20c is available, but my LG PCSuite and LGMobile updater are not working correctly.
EDIT: Nevermind, clicking your download link confirms that it's the Indian release.
this is country specific
Second question then: Because I can't update with the LG software, how can I download the available update and install it?

I tried downloading the .KDZ file from the location specified by you and have got the following file "LGP500AT 00 V20c IND XX SEP 21 2011 0 DZ.dz"
Do I need to rename the file or convert into any other format?
download the rom from this link this is kdz format so you can flash directly through KDZ updater package no need to convert

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the LG G2 looks to be happening right now for some users in South Korea. According to LG Phone Firmware, which tracks the company's progress on updating its smartphones, the Lollipop update for the phone is seeding right now for LG G2 units working on SK Telecom and LG U+ netoworks.
The update is marked under the version V30D, with the "3" indicates the Android version. V20A is a KitKat build, while the V20D is the build that brought Knock Code to the G2. In fact, you can go ahead and download the update yourself, but always be prepared to revert back to your stock build. In any case, this shows that LG will soon be releasing the update internationally as well.
A recent video of the LG G2 running Android Lollipop appeared and there you can see what the update looks like.
Thanks for the tip, Hitardo!

you have kdz for 802 not .tot files.
Less caps more searching.
Google is your friend and there are already several threads here in the G2 section. And you don't need tot.

H930DS has official Oreo.
Australia, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia. Many more. All H930DS, all with official Oreo KDZ.
WHICH H930DS are you referring to?
If your region ever gets Oreo, just flash that KDZ via LGUP.

Hi guys, I just picked up a used LG G5 RS988 and it is on Android version 6.0.1 (RS98810a). When I check for updates it shows none. However, I have an LG G5 VS987 that is on Android 8.0.0. I understand that normal channel updates may no longer be available (and the Verizon version provided updates in a different way), but is there a simple(ish) way to flash a more recent stock Android version?
Answered my own question! Downloaded LG Bridge from lg.com and using it to install more recent Android version(s). I'll post the final version once the update is done.
OK, LG Bridge allowed me to install RS98810h ... additionally, I found this super-helpful thread and have all the tools installed to flash the newest firmware ( LG-RS98821a-Flashable.COMPLETE-ARB01.zip ) - I just wanted to confirm it is safe to go from 10h to 21a directly. If someone could confirm that, I'd appreciate it!
