Updated GPU Drivers for Adreno 3xx
INFO
=======
Theese are the latest GPU Adreno drivers. I download them quite time ago, flashed it on my stock 4.4.2 and forget about it. When i updated my OS to 5.0 version, i saw the phone, when opens few apps, becomes overheating. A lot. When i had stock 4.4.2 with updated GPU, overheating simply doesn't existed.
I decide to write this short tutorial to show how you can significantly lower device temperature. It also grant few more usable tweaks to the graphics performance. But primarly it's about overheating.
GUIDE
=======
Requirements
-ROOT
-Unlocked bootloader
-Custom recovery like CMW or TWRP
I'm aware about new 5.0 OS system, and problematic bootloader unlocking. But there are few people who are still on stock 4.4.2 with custom recovery and some tweaks. I had flashed new OS 5.0 trough custom recovery thanks to flashable zip and i still have unlocked bootloader and TWRP to to this action.
Let's begin
-Download this zip file.
-Go to your recovery
-Do backup
-Do the basic wipes, like dalvik cache & cache only.
-Flash it
-Reboot.
Everything set!
Compatibility
This drivers should be compatible with every ROM based on our G2 mini.
I don't take responsibility for bricked phones!
===================

Wow wow! God bless You!
Thanks for that. I'll test it tomorrow.
Peace.
So will this update persist in Lollipop if I flash the latter on KK with unlocked bootloader and everything?
Thanks mate.Flashed it how can i say if its running?

No, if you are at 4.4.2, unlocked bootloader and twrp, flash clean install of 5.0 zip or .kdz, you'll need to flash this drivers again

Tell me how it's going It doesn't provide super extra performance boost, but it's particularly removes overheating problem. Device temperature after this update shouldn't go above 50*C

i never noticed any overheating problem on my g2 mini... But why not less temperature the better! i will monitor my phone as it is now.. i will flash it and i will report back again :good:

Nice to hear Sir. This little update can round everything like 180
The thread named not correctly. GPU drivers are in kernel, this is updated libraries for Areno. From wich ROM & device you took them?
That is for all adreno 3xx, not for specific phone, rom or kernel.

I asked FROM what ROM and device is it, not FOR what device and ROM.
This libraries have no open source so they are from stockrom from someone device, I want to know from what device. Do you understand?

Hmm, CM 11 based ROM use the same libraries and vendor files, which this zip ovverides. Don't know, but maybe some options in CM could block this. Can you use OPEN CAMERA from GP?

So as I understand these GPU libraries are from August build nexus 4? It has adreno 320, we adreno 305 and our 5.0.2 build was in May, it's anywhey fresher than August version...
I think that Motorola G libraries would be best for our device. They have same CPU+GPU

Hmmm... sorry if i'm skeptical but i'm pretty sure this is just a themed stock rom with MIUI theme on it, need proof? simple, no one has gotten bumped yet, so the kernel couldn't possibly boot unless it was LG Stock which means the OS is stock with some theme.
I may be wrong and if I am sorry, but I doubt at this stage out of all the roms a true working MIUI rom is possible.

This is kind of what I was thinking as well. And not to take away from this Dev creating and sharing this ROM at all... Because that's still a great thing

It is possible, but unlikely. If you kindly ask the Bump! devs to bump an image for you, often times they will (If you provide the original image, of course. They won't compile anything for you, if I had to bet.).
This is for the F400K model is that coming with unlocked bootloader on delivery?

If it was just stock with a theme wouldn't data work? It could be an LG base but still be MIUI. There are numerous MIUI ROMs for HTC devices that are Sense based instead of AOSP, but it's still MIUI. Not sure if that could be done here but it's a possibility I guess.
If the dev can make a build for the D851 I'll be glad to test it out.

90% of all offical miui roms for other devices than their own is based of original firmware from the device HTC has sense base, Samsung's got tw base. This is to ensure use of stock applications such as camera and radio.

Did you never use the Sense based MIUI ROMs on the One XL? Those used the stock Sense camera. Same thing going on here.
And yeah, hoping for D851 support as well.
This corresponds to D855?
did someone try this rom ?

Zimperium's Stagefright Detector app says this ROM is vulnerable. That surprised me since I thought MIUI V7 incorporated the stagefright patches for KitKat. The stagefright fixes are supposed to be incorporated in CM11 also, but maybe that's only under the "unified ghost" instead of the old msm8960dt? Afi1982, could you please be sure to pull the latest stagefright libs for your next build? Thanks!

I dont know, maybe people do not care about the stagefright.
if people think stagefright is a serious threat, it is safer to do the Samsung update.
The important information is that, Samsung has the patch for this issue on COJ3. No matter who made a copy from there.

I guess users from a high-customized roms like noname rom would highly appreciate to have this patch instead of updating their firmware and stay on a plain stock rom and I don't think so this sort of users would be interested much on following XDA as it is meant to be development and messing around with android OS. Generally if somebody doesn't need anything here I think it would be the best to just ignore it than hurting the creator of a thread who is trying to help others.

If i just extract the zip, fix the paths, zip it and flash it, would it work?
Never made a flashable zip before.
EDIT: This is what I did.
Didn't notice any difference to be honest from previous driver update (April 2016)
Still showed OpenGL ES 3.0 [email protected] in AnTuTu.

Yes correct
Well it did some increase the antutu rate for me.
Before flash 57xxx and never hit 60s before
testing now,
i made a flashable zip with the zip from the old one with correct paths and the new drivers from here for those who may want it
so Attached a flashable zip with correct paths.
thanks to OP @_-Lacoste-_

Has anyone tried on Z3c?
I tried these on Z2 and seems to be working fine. However, I am not able to notice any big improvements.

Ok thanks
Working flawlessly on my Z3 Compact powered by SLiM 2.1.
3D score on Antutu improved around 35% (8129 to 11007) after the update, so I definitely recommend it.
i feel these drivers cause more battery consumption than the April ones... anyone else feels the same?
Update/ my battery issue was due to something else, the drivers work well, and there's a slight improvement from the previous version.

Just flash the zip from #6 then you are good to go. I've running with Fulmics too, no problem at all. Certainly the G3 is faster now, UI smoother and more responsive, just not sure if it drain more battery, will take 2 - 3 days to do test.
