Hello Developers,
As you guys already have some experience with Xiaomi, im looking for a developer that is able to port the cyanogenmod or any other aosp rom over to Mi Note Pro. We have a couple users that are willing to put money towards a bounty. We already have TWRP just no custom roms.
Seems that no one wants cm12 on this device

No need for kernel source if prebuild kernel from xiaomi is on 5.1 base

Have ported nethunter although HID wont work, as i wasnt able to apply the patch, here's the link

Great work !! Can u please tell , which toolchain did u use to compile the kernel and did u compile the ath9k drivers for external wifi cards separately instead of having it compiled as a built-in module with kernel . Would be really great if you could share the steps you followed for building the kernel image and the separate modules .. Cheers Mate

well I have installed all Google Apps.. it's working fine for me.. And I restored backup from MI cloud.. you should try latest Google service app.. may b it'll install

twrp has failed. how to flash ?
Can we flash gapps instead of this google installer apk ? I faced many issues last time when i used google installer apk to install playstore etc..

I just recently used Open GAPPS Pico for MIUI 7 MM. They worked fine except some GPS permission was missing. So for that you have to convert Google Play Services to user app and grant permissions from security app. That will do. And use latest gapps

It's coming guys, dont worry.
I wants to know if there is any sailfish OS available for Grand 2 if not, if there is any developer who can port this rom for Grand 2. I have done a little research and the sailfish OS website provide a pdf file manual to port the cm 11,12 based rom to sailfish rom so I think with that manual it is little easy to port that rom as I m not from development background so I am unable to do so.
I think it would be possible to port from redmi 1s. And could you mention the link to the pdf guide???

Hey by the way i wanna ask you something else. I saw your miui 8 thread in xda and around 2 weeks ago and me & my friend tried to port that for grand 2 using the Miui 7 guide on xda but it didn't work. So we left that and currently trying PatchROM method for Miui 7

Actually i checked in the xda forums and i couldn't any flashable Miui for Redmi 1s. Since you're a user and a dev. too you may know if it has a flashable zip????

MIUI 7 or 8 for redmi 1s is based on kitkat only, the officals of MI said they cant update to lollipop due to system paritions is low and consumes more ram on usage for lollipop so they havent upated to lollipop...anyway they have provided miui 8 features in kitkat rom :good:
