Opera Browser [Download] - Nexus Player Themes and Apps

I'm sure a lot of you were disappointed to find out that the Opera TV browser isn't available for the Nexus Player. I hope this APK will cheer you up a little [emoji1]
Tested on my Nexus Player a couple of minutes ago, works perfectly! Sideloaded from ES File Explorer.

A YouTube app that WORKS on NOOKcolor CM7!!

I noticed how youtube/xl worked pretty well over on the Nook CM7, so I made my 1st app, hot out the oven! =) Skipping ahead through videos doesn't work so well but all other native controls work fine.. Feedback? Ideas? Props?
I attached the .apk on Cyanogenmod Forums..
http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/16323-cm7-discussion-of-nightlies/page__st__440#entry157411
Good start, but once I sign in it does everything but actually play. Seemed to play OK before I signed in. Once you tweak it, you are on to something. Also, when I do sign in it takes me to someone else's channel (yours?) Plus, it would be nice if it would store login info, so we don't have to re-enter username/password each time.
Tried this.... doesn't Work....
yay
Worked like a charm on c7 sdboot
thank you
Fully loads videos on CM7 #19 EMMC.
Only problem is that the videos are all flash embeds and the performance is horrible on my NC, overclocked at 1.1ghz, interactive governor using Flash 10.1.
The best part of the Youtube app is that videos are transcoded and play flawlessly without flash.
works fine on cm7 21
Its not perfect. n22 has gotten the YouTube app functioning, but TubeXL still plays standard (and full HD) much better than the YouTube app as it stands now. Im happy to see a lot of ppl have tried it, over 200 downloads in one day.. I hope most of you feel its a great work around until YouTube issues are fully resolved.
Works nice for me.

I am still waiting the microphone hardware working on ICS !
Can confirm that after installing CM9A1 that HD videos on Youtube play great! Tested with BigBuckBunny 1080p and it works as it should!
It seems that Alpha 1 had the same problem as CM7 when using c2d - videos get scaled using nearest neighbor instead of Bicubic, Bilinear or whichever method Android normally uses.
This can be fixed by changing this line in the build.prop:
debug.composition.type=c2d > debug.composition.type=gpu
Yeah! DicePlayer works! 720p mkv Dexter through wi-fi SMB is playing nice. A bit pixelated though.

Thank you! It's really nicer now. Still looks not-so-HD, but maybe the player is specially adjusting quality for low bandwith.

Is the downloadable Alpha 1 a update file or can be used for full installation file
I've a TP on which I've never installed android, so I want to try out cyagonmod 9 alpha 1, I downloaded the file provided on the rootzwiki official thread, can i use that file to install it on my TP using instruction of alpha 0.6 installation given on various sites. Or is that file just an update file that should be used to install on TP that already has earlier builds or android versions
Any news about wifi?

None of the ROMs require an older ROM. They will upgrade if an old version is there but will also work with nothing.

The ACMEInstaller does a lot more than just install the image. It also partitions the HDD, installs moboot etc. So, if this is a first time Android install, you have to follow the original instructions but use latest CM9 a1 file. If you already have CM9 installed, then you don't need the ACMEInstaller. Just install the new file via the moboot option.
If I have classicnerd installed but want to put CM9 aplha1 on, can I just wipe data, caches.
Will this clear classicnerd from my moboot?
Sweet, WatchESPN app works now but the video is pixelated. I'll have to try the build.prop fix from above.

Adobe Flash Player apk for Galaxy Note 2 (download link directly from Adobe)

UPDATE: December 13, 2012, Fixes Major 480p Bug, if you have the latest Android 4.1.2
Adobe Flash Player is not just alive and kicking, it has gotten back up, dusted itself off, and is ready to kick some butt.
The Galaxy Note II is future-proof when it comes to Adobe Flash Player support, although it is not officially supported. The apk installers will be available directly from Adobe, and they will keep being updated.
Step 1: Download the apk file below to your device and install when finished. (No rooting necessary.)
Step 2: Open up any browser, except Chrome.
Step 3: Enjoy.

Works well when streaming video in full screen..I have tested on boat browser, stock browser and firefox browser.
The only annoying thing is on note 2 when streaming, my device goes to sleep after 30 seconds when not touching anything while streaming. This does not happen on my galaxy S2 or note 1(the display remains on)

Interesting. I've never had the flash player do that on me, although I am having issues with youtube flash videos on 480p.
I think a lot of these problems are dependent on sites because they all have their own flash app. Also, are you on the stock rom?

Can someone share this apk https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lex.com.webbrowser&hl=es_419

I used Maxthon Browser and it works flawlessly with bluetooth keyboard. It can even play flash video without crashing like the 8 other browsers I tested.
Thanks for the suggestion angelorg74 but I want to try it, so ...bump

Best thing I have found so far is installing Google from the TV Play Store. It seems to be working well as a browser.
