Hey does anyone happen to know if "Adapt Sound" is patented? Yeah, the name is trademarked but is the software "process" patented?

Ok, I know that title isn't necessarily clear but I couldn't think of something better.
Does anyone know of an app that will automatically adjust the sound settings based on a timer.
i.e. When I go to bed I'd like my phone to be on silent and then have the ability to switch to a normal sound mode at say 6:30 am, then switch to vibrate at 8am.
I think you get my drift. Anyone have any ideas about if there is something out there or if it's possible?
On another similar note is there anyway to have an app that performs the auto shutdown/boot like blackberry?

Audio Manager has a "scheduler":

I'm sure you have to get the "Paid" version tho

This was perfect thanks a lot!
Its really anoying, i expected the sg3 to come with a disableing option for that, can anyone help?
Until some custom roms come out, I'd say no way. It was a 'feature' in the original sgs, and guess it is here too.
I really don't understand why would they do that, its suppose to be for me to choose whether i want my ringtone to increase or not...
Anyway, thanks for the quick answer!
I too find it annoying, especially since the ringtone I use is Living Colours "Living Colour" which starts with a loud 'Yeeeeoooowwwww', which is now a soft 'Yeeeooowww'. Oh well...

Wrong.
Here's what I found by using the "search" button..... The "search" button is a useful thing and not very hard to master.
When I enter the incorrect knock code the led flashes and I hear the camera shutter sound. I think I remember some app saying it would do this but I don't remember what it was. Anyone know what app is running that is doing this?
Thanks
Anyone else having issues with Stereo+ ? I disable it and its like ignoring my setting and still works in youtibe and anyother app... Running ..xxx.0.115 version of the rom

Forgive me asking but why would you want to disable it? Having stereo sound in landscape mode is a great feature.

Thing is the earpiece speaker is not the same as the bottom one, and when having stereo ans music/voice/something on different channels it ends up beig really bad... Especially if thay sound changes channels from left to right its a really bad experience... Thats why.
Can someone tell me how to increase SPEAKER (not headset) volume on the note 8. Exynos and rooted. Basically how to increase it in mixer gains.
Have you used the "adapt sound" feature in the phone settings? If not, run the adapt sound tutorial, and it should make a noticeable difference. It has for mine and I know others have been pleasantly surprised by doing this also.
I believe the file to edit is /system/vendor/mixer_paths.xml . You'll have to search through many lines to find the relevant sound paths to edit. Most default to like 80, just raise the number up, reboot and test.

Hi,
I didn't do any of that. I simply changed the adapt sound setting.
Please look at the post prior to mine and try using the adapt sound function in your note 8.
Ok Devs could really use your help on this. The path for speaker just ends
