So
2.X ok with 2.X (eg 2.3.4 to 2.3.6)
4.0.X ok with 4.0.X (eg 4.0.3 to 4.0.4)
4.1.X ok with 4.1.X (eg 4.1.1 to 4.1.2)
4.2.X ok with 4.2.X (eg 4.2.1 to 4.2.2)
4.3.X ok with 4.3.X (eg 4.3.1 to 4.3.2)
4.4.X ok with 4.4.X (eg 4.4.0 to 4.4.4)
5.0.X ok with 5.0.X (eg 5.0.1 to 5.0.2)
5.1.X ok with 5.1.X (eg 5.1.1 to 5.1.2)
You cannot, for example, port 5.1X ROMs using 4.4.X as base.

[Q] Different methods of root performance and stability?

So my question is what is better in terms of stability/performance
So lets say i had a Android device that has 4.1.x or 4.2.x (doesnt really matter) phone that is rooted and is flashing an android 4.3.x root rom
vs.
the same android device but instead already had Android 4.3.x installed and using an android 4.3.x root method
Question 2:
What if both were running the same custom rom like PA or CM

[Q] android 4.4 KitKat

Is there any Omega 4.4 KitKat rom for i9300
If not, are they in development. I really like Omega roms for Samsung phones.
(Btw, any Samsung based 4.4 KitKat rom would be fine)
thanks in advance:cyclops:

There are currently no 4.4 Samsung-based ROMS available.
There are CM11 variants such as Temaseks unofficial CM11 (4.4 - KitKat) that are comparable to stock/vanilla Android.
KitKat for SIII is only to be expected in March/April. Although delays should be expected (usually the case).

I couldn't find it too, you can try asking here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/orig-development/rom-mokee-opensource-project-t2619342
Maybe someone can re add it in the history section on official site
I have an interest to test Mokee Os on my S3 .
