Has anybody tried the Sprint JellyBomb ROM using the VZW patch? This ROM looks like it has a ton of features I would like to try.

Does any know if there is an S4 camera mod/apk that will work on TW Based ROM
- I have a Verizon Note 2 running Jelly Beans Build 20.
I did find a S4 camera from Alliance ROM but before I try it, I wanted to know if there is a better option.
I'm real skeptical that the S4 camera will work for me on my current ROM.

as far as I know, no one has gotten the TW s4 camera to work on our phone yet.

You should probably edit your title and put [REQ] in front of it, because your title now implies it's in this thread.
I will say I want this mod too, but I doubt it's gonna happen. Too many differences. It would be a hack and slash probably with not many features and mostly a different interface.

What's the deal, nobody with the i605 interested in S4 apks? Literally no S4 dumps that will work with Verizon. Currently, I have the S4 S-Voice on my i605. Nothing else seems to work. What I have seen is labelled Deox only, available from the AT&T forum.
Specifically, I want the S4 SamsungIME keyboard.

I am not expecting S4 Eye Gestures and the Samsung IME is available to S3 users who are not 4.2.2. smarty pants.

The keyboard, weather, Samsung apps, etc. Have all been made available in numerous threads, both for the s3 and note2. They have been around for a while. My theme has the s4 keyboard and weather in it. The reason that the apks haven't been truly ported is because they rely heavily on the framework, which is 4.2. Until we have a 4.2 base for the note we won't be able to truly port the apks.

Not just a 4.2 framework but a 4.2 or higher framework on a touchwiz platform to get things like animated s4 weather app or s4 camera with drama shot so on and so forth

What can be done w/ them? i.e. rooted, rommed etc..?

Back in late August mine came MDK, the gold of Verizon S4's (can bypass bootloader and do EVERYTHING!).... other than Dev edition... I guess that'd be platinum actually XD

I only got my phone in late june early july, so it was functioning flawlessly. Now It's over heating and not getting a decent signal.

Well you're most like gonna get one running mj7 or mk2 which means you can root then install safestrap which isn't a custom recovery but it's still a gift Hashcode has given us .

As of right now yes. TW based and they must be based on our phones version too ie: mj7 mk2 etc
Hey its better than nothing! And actually there are a couple others in the works too. There's also still a talented group of devs looking into unlocking or bypassing our locked down bootloader too.

I hear that. It's a tough call. I can say after flashing all sorts of aosp roms onto my RAZR that I actually don't mind TW . I like the fact that it's extremely stable not too many bugs like I had before and we're actually getting really good performance. But I know it's a matter of personal preference.

While I agree the S4 is a beast (When it works properly) I don't feel like getting a plethora of replacement devices,
Like I did w/ my S3 and the phone before that.
When I stop getting 4G signal and start getting only 3G and 1X on EVERY rom. I know there's an issue w/ the HW. Samsung has some very decent screens and cameras, which is why I buy their devices, but lacking long term performance is very annoying.

We had the same issue with my girls old S3 terrible service on most roms. Once it was back on stock however it had 4G everywhere again so that led me to believe it was a rom issue. .but hey I get what you're saying. Good luck whichever way you decide to go

That's a catch22
New phone = no AOSP rom, BUT less problems.
Current Device = No decent Signal or performance, BUT AOSP rom.
