Few days back i installed CM 12.1 on my LG F320L. To make it work i also installed Lollipop BootStack.
Today i tried to restore my Cloudy G3 backup via TWRP which failed and stuck on blank screen. I dig it out and looked for KK bootstack for F320. Goolge it many times but couldn't find anything relevant.
Then i extracted the bootstack from stock KK firmware and posting it on XDA Dev. I hope it will save time/energy of many folks on the fourm.
Pls wait, file being uploaded, Uploading link shortly.

VERY smooth so far. I see a noticeable improvement over screen rendering and animation quality over the first round of builds (houstonn updated PA as well.) QS customization and that "Clear All" in the recents menu would be fantastic but this thing is amazing, truly awsome work.
good job!

Try just rebooting your phone first.
NFC has NEVER worked on the First boot of ANY ROM with this phone for me.
thanks again

Usually AT&T phones are fine (albeit, after a reboot). My Rogers (Canadian) e971 ALWAYS needs the nfc-fix flashed in recovery when the ROM was made for the e970 natively. I think some other international variants need it as well.

There is a script that just got updated to odex the system/app and system/priv-app (where gapps .apks are located) .apks in kitkat.
The script can also odex framework and other parts of the ROM, so you can pretty much odex all the rom.

It is still in testing phase for 4.4, but initial reports show that it is working.
I ve read this article in this link http://www.phonearena.com/news/LG-t...te-many-of-its-devices-to-Android-4.4_id51571
It seems LG is rolling out a straight 4.4 update to most of its devices, but our optimus l9 is missing in the list, do any U know further details about this ?

have you read the Development Section?
there's an Kitkat Rom, not official, but it's stable for daily use
1.Wrong section! This should be posted in General section.
2.Company which made our cpu doesnt exist anymore,so developers @lg cant make Kitkat for our L9 because they dont have drivers for kitkat and they cant make them without company that made our cpu.
Ok I will repost this in general section, but can't we atleast get 4.3 jellybean ?

do not think that is the problem because if the company is not anymore as they did in this forum to create cm11, the problem is that he is not interested lg Eseté terminal upgrade only the newest
only cm11
Well at least we got cm11 And we get a lot of features

Hi guys,
actually i have the omnirom (4.4.2) installed on my g2 and i want to flash an official rooted Kitkat Rom with its LG Software features.
How do i have to proceed?
Which files do i need?
If i flash the unrooted Rom by the KDZ file, can i manually root afterwards?
I'm not sure if the root is more difficult with the official KitKat Rom than on custom roms.
Do i have to fully wipe? I am on 4.4.2...
Can someone help please? What about the recovery (TWRP), will i lose it on this way?
Thanks in advance.
Ok so two things, one which model is your phone and two questions don't go in general

Ah sorry...
So can a Mod please move the thread to "G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting"?
Model is D802 (international) should be the vodafone edition
Well currently there is one way of flashing it through recovery in the d802 thread but it has a lot of issues other than that there still is not an official way to do so

Hmm okay i thought now there is a better way...
Can i manually root my device if i flash the official kdz file?
If you are flashing the .kdz with the flash tool, you NEED to do a full wipe or it will fail flashing.
Has anyone that's rooted with H901 tried to update to MM? I didn't touch any of the stock apps or other pertinent system settings that might cause an update to fail. I do have TWRP so that might stop it. Sometimes updates just over write the TWRP with the stock recovery.
I'm thinking it probably would not go through but I was also thinking about trying it anyway for the heck of it. I don't want any boot loops if I can help it. I'm hoping for a flashable rooted stock rom someday.. Haha. Thoughts? Worth it?
