i hope i'm in the right Forum with my question.
i Have two Devices there i want to become root Access.
First is the Chinese Star S9300 (MTK6577) with Android 4.1.1
And second the Tablet GD Ippo AK10
For even Devices, there exist a custom rom or a exact manual how to root, there i have tested some one Click Root Method.
On Root_with_Restore_by Bin4ry i become everytime the Message Permission denied (are you root??).
Now my Question: How could i cancel the permission control to complete the Root or what way could i go to root the Devices.
Otherwise, i have read in many Forums that the Star S9300 often are rooted, but my isn't, rootchecker says me that it isn't rooted and SuperUser and Busybox could become Root Access.
I thanks alot for Help, i realy must rooted the device, to Install Apps that i need for Work.

Hi, this is the first time i ask a question in this forum, so im not sure if im in the correct section.
I have a table INCO quos mini and im unable to root it.
I asked in Tech supoort of INCO and they told me to go to a support service place but there will be a extra fee to do it. (im not willing to pay for something that i can do by myself), so i asked them wich programs/software i need to use and they refused to answer.
I tried with Super One Clic and One Clic Root and thei failed to root it.
During root they show me that the tablet is already rooted and during unroot i got the message "Unknown error"
I tried with Kingo Android Rood and i seen that the file system is on read only (chmod) and is unable to make the neccesary changes and transfer the Super SU apk.
I thought to root it through cmw/clockworckmod but the device doesnt have volume button.
Any help for this case? im really angry with this tablet because i know it has some factory aplications wich spy my information and consume resources on my tablet.
Owners of the Mach Speed Trio Stealth G4 7", 7.85", 10", and Stealth Mini 4.3", for those who are planning to root those devices, CPU-Z says that it has root access, and Poot shows that system/xbin/su is found, but Root Checker Basic says it has no access to root permissions (because system/bin/su is not found there.)
This causes the binary downloads will not work from ChainsDD's superuser and SuperSU. Also checked Terminal Emulator to not have access to root, thus not having the # symbol and you're stock with $.
How can we access root from the system/xbin/su? Do we have to get a custom recovery or something?
Oh and for those who tried one click apps like towelroot or baidu easy root, they DON'T WORK. (Because basically android 4.4 has like upped its security for prevention of rooting.)
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Good advice. Kingo root seemed to work really well for me. Rooted the Trio Stealth G4 10.1 without any problems

It appears as though the Stealth G4 7.85 has been left in the cold. I happen to have one. The 'xbin' folder is next to empty (save for three or four files), and the 'bin' folder somehow had a busybox binary already pre-installed (bought mine as new). However, I could not find the su or sudo binaries. Is there a custom recovery available? If so, that could be used to install root...

I was hoping to get some assistance on my struggle to gain full root access to my Meizu 5 Pro (Chinese version)
I've followed this https://forum.xda-developers.com/meizu-pro-5/how-to/tutorial-change-region-id-to-t3323883/ guide but I'm getting stuck on getting the access. I attached pictures for you to see where I'm at. Where I've hit the wall as it were.
As you'll see on the pics I actually do have root privileges as root permissions are no longer hidden from me and
fastboot screen on the bottom of the screen also shows that the phone is rooted. But the terminal emulator isn't giving access.
I rooted the phone by logging into Flyme account then -> Settings -> Apps -> searched for Flyme app that has "root" in the description. I ran it,
accepted terms, rebooted and root was enabled. This is the vendor-made way of rooting the phone.
What can I try ?

As it appears the phone is rooted but the app tools (SuperSU, terminal emulator, BusyBox) aren't recognizing it.
