CM based GPS issues fixed? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I feel like GPS lock or lack there of has always been a problem for all CM ROMS.
I tried out the PAC-ROM and it still seems to be an issue. Has anyone had any luck in installing some kind of CM12 based ROM with a working GPS? Would really love to get on a CM12 on 5.1..

[Q] Any ROMS with blutooth and working GPS?

Disregard. I got my GPS issue fixed but it seems that Bluetooth is elusive on all ROMs right now.
Bluetooth working for me on Illusion
sent from my LG G3
Also works on Carbon... You say all roms... I know it works on the LG builds(non aosp)

Fair point. The stock LG software works fine. I've tried Vanir, CM12.0, and Bliss Pop so far and none of them have working bluetooth. From what I've seen bluetooth is borked on the AOSP ROM's. I've also noted that there are no "Official" ROM's. It seems like none of the big developers are working on ROMs for this platform. Kind of disappointing.

What do you mean "big developers"? Official is just a tag. For example the illusion rom is official, i just havent put it in the title. Theres a liquid smooth thats official. Or you could always start developing yourself
LOL. Big developers. Corporations with dozens of developers working full time, I bet.

Best MDK Rom out there at present?

Hey guys, I've been fresh on a stock and unrooted build over the past several months (no headaches anymore!) and recently, an acquaintance of mine was willing to give me his Galaxy S4 which to my delight was still on MDK. I've been out of the scene and flashing in general for the past five months, and I know that there's this Lollipop business right now, but what is the best ROM for the MDK S4 at this point?
I've heard that Cyanogenmod 12.1 and lollipop builds in general are having a host of problems with bluetooth, the GPS (which I actually very much need), and battery drain. What is an acceptable ROM in your guys' honest opinion that can be used as a very solid daily driver (hopefully on Lollipop, willing to use KK though) that has GPS and bluetooth?
Thanks in advance!
Another CM12.1 tidbit. If your new to you MDK S4 is the Verizon variant, the compass is borked, too. If it's any other carrier users say it works.

This, however navigation still works for directions I know what direction I am looking at and moving in most of the time.
Hyperdrive is also a fan favorite but is currently on KK. I was using Dan's GPE lollipop ROM but switched back because I couldn't get Netflix to run over mobile data. If that doesn't bother you, I recommend that to you.

That is because orientation is determined by GPS when moving, not by the compass.
It is now a moot point as invisiblek fixed the compass in CM 11, 12.0, & 12.1 two days ago.
So nice to see the compass and all third party apps that rely on it work properly again.

Which lollipop roms are fully working with no major connectivity issues now? Was thinking of trying cyanogen 12.1, but noticed its not officially released. Is this stable enough to use everyday? If not, are there other 5.x roms I should consider?

[Q] Compass

I'm wondering if anyone has found a solution for this compass calibration problem. If I orient my phone basically north/south the compass seems to be relative accurate. Otherwise it quickly gets off 180 degrees. I've seen this on KK & LP, multiple ROMS and multiple kernels. I'm suspecting it's a hardware issue but would love to hear from others.
What ROM are you using? This issue persisted in many ROMs for some time, especially CM and CM based ROMS, but has been fixed for 5-6 weeks now.

Stock TW ROMs. I noticed it on KitKat & it persists with Lollipop. It's strange that when my phone is oriented roughly N/S all is well but it goes wonky otherwise.

Don't know about KK and otger ROMs, especially older ones but the latest LP CyanogenMod ROMs have been flawless for me.
Solved...
...for me at least.
A big thanks to @slopenut1 for pointing out the compass problem it due to the kernel. I flashed surge's stock kernel and the compass seems just fine. It seems there is a subtle hardware difference which trip up the kernels coming from other devices. The compass now may not be quite as good as the real thing but no more flipping around.
Try a different kernel. Fixed on 4.4.4 GPE with the ktoonsez kernel. Now on GPE 5.0.2 it's back.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 GPS fails on Lolipop based ROMs

Greetings all,
newbie to XDA so please bear with me.
I have been looking over posts for a while and still noticed the same issues with the Sprint Glaxay Note 3 and custom Roms.
So, can someone please tell me the process that works for getting you GPS to work and stable netowr (LTE/WiFi).
I noticed any Rom with a KitKat base works fine, however, when you move into a lolipop based Rom
or CM12, GPS and Network fail.
I use TRWP and have found no solution in getting the GPS to work.
What am I doing worng?
Thanks all,
I found this solution for the mobile data issue:

I'm still trying to find a fix for the GPS issue myself. GPS will somewhat work sporadically but it won't get a solid Lock like it's supposed to
Thanks, I found the priest rom works flawlessly and GPS is working with stronger signal.
I also found less wifi and sprint network issues.
KitKat killer worked as well but had issues on sms and others were it would freeze up. Connectivity issues as well.
Priest is the best I have found and can't say enough good things about it, wish it was easier to find and updated to the 5.1 base, other than that, it solved my problem.

CM13-Based ROMs GPS Issue

Hey guys, I was gonna post this in the forum for the specific ROM I am using, but XDA doesn't think I am experienced enough, due to not making 10 posts, so I am asking here. Has anyone had problems with/resolved the issue with GPS not working properly in CM13 yet? I am running the ResurrectionRemix Marshmallow ROM, which is CM13-based and my GPS now will not lock properly and I can't get any following with my GPS apps. Any help would be appreciated, but I also know that CM13 is still very new. Thanks!
I haven't had chance to try this yet, but I saw this post yesterday.
