Here's the stock rooted YNG1TAS2I3 ROM. Includes root(enable in Developer options) and the rest is untouched, so it's OTA update safe

Thanks so much, Calkulin. I appreciate your quick turnaround, and I always feel more confident starting off on a new update using one of your builds.
Will we see an update for Calkulin's OnePlus One v3.2?

Thanks for the great work.
I was just wondering, is it normal to have the superuser icon in the statusbar after enabling root in developer options?
OK this might sound stupid but do I need twrp to install this or stock recovery?

You'll need TWRP to install as its a (stock based) custom ROM.

Again you'll would need to unlock your bootloader (wipes all data) and install a custom recovery and root to install this. Or you could wait on the OTA if you dont want to do that.

Hi all, i'm pleased to share my work with you.
Here you have the latest official lollipop firmware for D855 ( v. 20A - LRX21M) packed in a zip flashable file.
I made this because all of us want to keep the old bootloader that is - at the moment - the only one who accept the bumped TWRP provided us by team Codefire.
I made also a step further and found a way to root this ROM.
Here you go:
First of all i suggest you to install the TWRP modded by me to allow the backup of the modem.
Be sure you select also the modem partition before taking the backup. ( If you want to restore the backup then restore also the modem )
1- download the two files and put them into the sdcard;
2- reboot in recovery and do a factory reset;
3- install the ROM and the supersu ZIP;
4- reboot the device and enjoy your rooted Lollipop ROM.
If you come from an earlier lollipop firmware you can dirty flash, it might work.
I spend a lot of time developing this so if you think i deserve you can donate ( look at my sign )

SUPERSU flashable ZIP

KK MODEM ( you need this only if you downgrade from lollipop to kitkat and you don't need if you backed up before with the modded TWRP recovery)

Q&A
What this ROM include?
In the ROM zip you can find only the system, modem and kernel (bumped) image
What do i need to flash this?
You need only to have the TWRP recovery installed
If i flash this i will lose the bumped recovery?
Nope. The bootloader will not be changed.
If i want go back to KK roms ( stock or AOSP) what i have to do?
Just flash your ROM or restore a previous nandroid backup. But, after that, flash the zip with the KK modem you can find in the 1st post.
I really need to flash the root files?
Must i answer????
Cannot write to internal SD?
With adb or a terminal emulator do:
Code:
su
restorecon -v -R /data/media
Your statusbar and navbar are gone?
This is a issue reported from some user.
Try to format manually data in TWRP before install the rom.
If this doesn't work try flashing the kdz of the H firmware ---> root ----> twrp ----> install this rom ( sperimental).
Doesn't have the option to enable LTE?
Go with a root browser to system/app/Lteconfigs/, click and install the apk, then reboot and you will have the option for LTE.

Wait wut? So this is all done in the stock recovery? No root, no custom recovery needed? Just bang it all on the sd card and go?

with a deodexed rom it makes it much easier for removing of apps for instance i was able to get rid of nearly all the htc apps, twitter and facebook... when i originally tried to do it with rom toolbox before it would only uninstall the updates and still leave the original app... also with this it should conceivably be easier to start porting roms to our phone...

I dont know truth be told.. there are some differences between the at&t model and the eu model... so i wouldn't advise trying it but.. i do know that some people who have the eu model have flash the at&t rom successfully... as always I can't take any responsibility for any problems occur from flashing it..

Thanks sir for the quick reply, I have unlocked the bootloader of my phone (MOTO E Dual SIM).
I want to ask the following before flashing the ROMs in my phone; please help:
1. What does official and unofficial mean?
Does it mean that the OS is released from MOTOROLA and unofficial is the created ROM by members of XDA or others.
2. Do we have to root the phone first and then flash the CM11 before installing CM12 or CM12.1
and is CM12 a stable ROM like CM11?
3. What is the use of going from OS 5.1 released from MOTO to home made CM12.1?
4. And which CM12.1 should I install as there are lots of CM12.1 available online, pls give link....

1. Official means that the ROM will be supported by the CyanogenMod Team so u will recieve daily OTA update contains with bugfixes and new features, custom ROMs not maintained by the Motorola or any device Manufacturers, custom ROMs like CM12.1 provided by CyanogenMod Team and The ROMs for the specific device's are maintained by our xda Devs, if u unlocked your bootloader and rooted your phone already yout warranty automatically void, so u lost the support from motorola, motorola only updates on stock rom that comes with your device out of the box, this custom ROMs nothing related to motorola

The problem with this guide is that the download "mfastboot-v2" after downloading does not show any file or is corrupted.
Secondly in step 4 it says "copy it into the root of your internal memory" Where does it want to copy the files on PC or on mobile's root.
Thirdly can't understand point 9.
"Press power button and do swipe to unlock to get your touch working again!
As Motorola released source code for the kernel, @cybojenix has fixed the touch issue, you can skip to step 10 directly!"
THen I tried using the below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2754358
But it is silent how to flash twrp recovery and super user through adb.
Then I tried this which helped me to unlock my phone but is silent about rooting the phone.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2753110
Lastly I am unable to find a time when do I have to backup my mobile OS, is it after flashing TWRP recovery and rooting the phone.
Also I am not sure how to flash TWRP recovery as there is a method saying that I have to install the TWRP manager and give root permissions for installing TWRP recovery but I still have to root the phone.

Thanks to Adarsh for helping me installing CM11. I will update to CM12.1 soon.
So I've managed to recover root privileges but dual recovery is lost, I've read in dual recovery Q&A that there's some files I have to erase when you don't want it anymore, so I thought just erase and then flash dual recovery again, but since this happened a lot of factory resets ago there are some concerns about this being the right way, do I just flash it without erasing those files? Also is it realy necessary to flash the latest DR or will my old version do?
I'm on stock KitKat 4.4.4 build 14.4.A.0.118 on a c6833 with LB.
I would also love it if you could recommend the most stable Nougat or MM 6.0.1 rom, I know there's AOSP Nougat, DU and maybe RR for 6.0.1? What would you flash for a daily driver, I don't care about the camera much, but if Wi-Fi and phone radio are working normally, that should do it for me, thanks in advance to anyone that can give me a hand with this.

Have you tried to Unlock the bootloader, flash the recovery and root and relock it?
By any chance have you been on official 5.1.1?
No I've never been on any stock LP be it 5.0.2 or 5.1.1, so does it matter if I erase the files in the following howto before reinstalling DR?
How to remove DR:
Delete the following files:
/system/bin/recovery.twrp.cpio.lzma (or .tar)
/system/bin/recovery.cwm.cpio.lzma (or .tar)
/system/bin/recovery.philz.cpio.lzma
/system/bin/charger
/system/bin/dualrecovery.sh
/system/bin/mr
Also is it better to unlock the bootloader first? I don't want relock it afterwards since I want to flash DU or AOSP Nougat, or RR M and have a recovery.
I read a lot of the forums all the time but I'm still pretty much a noob at this, up until now rooted Kitkat is all I've needed, sorry if I'm asking too much.
Sent from my C6833 using Tapatalk
OK so I've been reading, are you suggesting that I unlock the bootloader so when I install DR it stores the recovery on the FOTA kernel partition, instead of /system, so i won't lose DR next time?
I guess that's what I've been looking for if so, last question, is DR compatible with Android M or N roms?
I'm sorry if it's a dumb question, I'm still a noob, hehe.

I could be wrong but it sounds like you wanna be on a cm or asap rom with DR.
If you plan to use any of those roms, yes unlock the bootloader. From this point you should be able to install DR on top of the current recovery, as long as you've had any type of recovery you can flash with an app. Rashr, twrp manager etc.
I've UB now, do I need the new bootloader? Do I get it if I go directly from my Stock KK to RR Lollipop rom? Can I go directly from stock KK to RR Lollipop without bricking it?
Sorry if I'm asking to much but I'm just trying to make sure I don't end up with a bricked phone.

Can anyone help please?
So I've managed to get DR working again flashed RR Lollipop but now my phone doesn't see my external SDcard, what should I do?, I've read the whole RR L thread down to the last message but the only solution I've found which is to correctly uninstall Nut's DR doesn't work for me since there's no such files in /system/bin

I believe no. I I'm not to familiar on the new bootloader. Prob have to ask one of the rom devs, but im pretty sure you just need twrp 3.0
Thanks RealityFails, you've been of such help, I did learn from your posts, I flashed DR then RR LL rom then with twrp app and flasher I got my recovery for non-stock since I read somewhere that Nut's DR doesn't work with custom roms.
I'm now trying to learn how to read android's logs to see what's up with this ROM not reading my external SDcard, when I go to storage unmount it then mount again, it reads for a few seconds then it's gone, whatever man! he he crazy rom, otherwise is awesome, and everything else works. If I'm not able to fix the SDcard access do you recommend any other LL rom similar to RR?
Anyhow many thanks for helping this Z Ultra stay unbricked, updated and with a decent recovery.

Hey XDA-Community
I sent my phone to oneplus for repairing it. They wrote that as solution for my problem (speakers didn't work) they just replaced the mainboard. But now I'm unable to install TWRP persistently. After every reboot I get the stock recovery. Furthermore if I'm in TWRP wich I just booted from fastboot I can't install anything. If I want to flash SuperSu it says errors like: "Unable to find partition size for '/boot'" (also other partitions like '/recovery', '/misc'...) then in the console the folowing error gets displayed: "Unable to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)" this continues with all the other partitions, and then (obviously) SuperSU doesn't get installed. I have attached a screentshot about my phone info. Do you have any idea how I can fix this? Do you need any further information? Feel free to ask.
Maybe this thread is helpful: https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...official-twrp-arsenic-kernel-oneplus-t3573644
It's for E1003_15

I did that (I hope a least) but the ROM just shows it's boot screen. The ROM I used is that one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/development/rom-xperience-11-1-t3507588 do you think I should try the official ROM: http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-x/oneplus_x_oxygenos_3.1.4/

TWRP: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/orig-development/recovery-twrp-r1-03-05-t3600887
ROM (pick any): https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/development/roms-ground-zero-roms-validus-tesla-t3546588
Kernel: https://www.arsenic-kernel.download
Flash the latest kernel along with zip, Tesla already has R46 which will work on your repaired device.

I did that, and tried it for a few days. But unfortunately most of my Apps crash all the time, or after a few minutes. Sometimes I cant, lock or unlock my screen and root with SUperSU just disapperes sometimes Sadly this custom rom is very unstable. Is there maybe ANY way I cold just flash the Android 6 stock ROM on it and root it with anything? I really don't care what I have to do for rooting it, but this ROM is just too buggy... but it looks nice, and having Android 7 is also ver cool:fingers-crossed::good:

Check inbox, I've sent you link of AOSP-JDC rom.
I haven't released it yet so can share it here in post, though its publicly available on my androidfilehost account.
Try it once.

I have the same build number as OP (E1003_15_161107). Phone is untouched and on stock ROM. Read things about our devices being different than others and hence little to no ROM support. So I am a bit lost. I reckon recovery provided by you works well on our device. What about the ROMs ? Can I flash any of my choice ? And Kernels ? Can I opt for kernels other than Arsenic ? (Big fan of Franco. Using his kernel on my OPO)

Yes you can flash any rom of your choice, just make sure you flash Arsenic R46 along with the rom zip as kernel is what makes your device boot. I'm not sure about franco's kernel so better ask in his respective thread?
No Luck for me.
Version 3.2.1-0 not work here.
BUILD E1003_15, i have to use this Version to get a ROM work.

Is there be a fix for my Version of the OPX ?
