Guys yesterday I tried porting MIUI rom from Coolpad F1 8297w to Canvas Nitro A311.
The port was quite successful :good: , so to make it better, i restored my stock rom by TWRP.
But when the phone turned on, it showed an error "Sim card unplugged". I found that on dialing *#06# the IMEI shown was "Invalid IMEI".
Also in Settings/About Phone, the Baseband version showd "Unknown".
Now I am unable to make any calls or use internet. Please help guys.
I tried MTK Droid tools, but it shows "file adb not installed"
I re flashed stock rom by YGDP Tools several time but no solution.:crying:
Now I'm trying IMEI & SN Writer v1.5.3 and it is also not working. Maybe i do not have the database files.
Guys please help me. I know there is a solution to this, afterall, its MTK chipset. But im missing something.
Please provide some solution. Or somebody give me the baseband files of Nitro A311, maybe that will work.
Im about to port a bug less version of MIUI v6 and I will need this to work. So please guys, devs, help me.:crying:

New update.
I have fixed the unknown baseband issue. Even the mobile repair shops were unable to do it and were asking for 200 rs.

Use MAUI Meta 3g tools to fix your imei.
Just check youtube. You will find a video for A310. Just follow the steps.

You have to download stock rom in cpb format from needrom.com and have to flash it through ygdp tool and it will resolve your issue

I have a problem with my my former android v4.2.2 tecno s3, which later I updated it to android m3 v4.2.9 tecno m3 custom rom.

I already tried almost everything (MTK Droid Tools, Imei.exe, etc), always write error.
I lost the important files .nv_data.bak e .nv_data.bak.md5 that i think can't be created, before i backup .

Hello everybody...... I own an HTC desire 210. Asia version with Mediatek MT6572M processor. I flashed a wrong CWM in to it and the basedband version and Imei got corrupted . The phone cant recognize Sim cards now. I tried a lot of things to fix it like Engineering mode, imei.exe technique by replacing NVRAM files, MTK Tools imei writing but nothing is working till now and to use SN writer the CDC drivers are not getting installed in to my computer. Any one with this device please provide me a flashable ROM either for CWM or Flashtool. I dont know, may be it can fix the issue or if you know any other method to tackle it please let me know. Unfortunately I have no back up for this ROM with me.

I'll soon upload it, I just don't get the time. Also, there are many useless apps in the Stock ROM, which make the whole backup quite (well very) large in size.
can any one suggest which version of cwm is suitable for htc desire 210.............n where can i get a custom rom for it.

Blocked in stock recovery mod
Hi everyone,
I'm writing this post because I'm hopeless in this moment. I have my ZTE v987 blocked in stock recovery mod ("android system recovery 3e") with no chance to flash or install any ROM or Firmware.
It happens to me when I tried to reflash CWM Recovery 6.0.3.7 with flash tool to reinstall Bruno Rom instead of MIUI ROM. I needeed to reflash because since when I installed MIUI ROM, the CWM rebooted by itself after few seconds, preventing from install any zip file.
Unfortunately, I flashed preloader and after that, my zte dead (it do not even power on).
However, reading some tread and many, many posts and guides about to unbrick mtk65xx, I find a solution (thanks to Bruno) to raise from the death my smartphone. Basically, I was able to flash my zte using flash tool and "ZTE V987 stock partitions" (posted by Bruno to another member of this comunity) but from that I'm blocked in android system recovery 3e.
Can everyone help me, please?

I found a solution and now my zte v987 works fine, but I have still some huge problems:
SIM not detected, pttycmd1 not found, NVRAM empty
Unfortunately, the only way to resolve these problems is to get another functioning zte v987 and make a backup with Mtk droid tools. So, I can make a radio and NVRAM restore.
There is nobody in my town with this model of zte smartphone and I can't do nothing to bring back my phone.
If anybody can help me posting this backup, I will appreciate a lot

I don't have V987 anymore, but fortunatelly I kept some old files on the computer. You can find in attachment my old V987 NVRAM backup. After flashing it you should change IMEI numbers.

ZTE V987 locked network
I flashed a different rom this afternoon but I didn't like so I came back to Bruno's . When I restored my backup my phone asks for my pincode and "INSERT BLOCK ME SIM"
I got my unlocked phone so I sent an email to the webpage where I bought it, but I have no idea if they will be able to help me, because I have been flashing my phone.
There is any solution? Any way to get the code or using my simcard without it?

Hi, did you solve the problem?
I have the same problem after I flash "HTC ONE M8" firmware. I successful unlock first sim card with 12345678 code, but the second is still locked.

Hi , i had installed a cooked miui 8 rom for thl t9 pro that pretty much skrew my imei's and gives an nvram error in Wifi. While i trying to fix this i restored the original rom from en.thl.com.cn but the problem remained. After "experimentation" i format the phone with SP tools completely and now it doesn't find any sim card.
At some forums pretty much suggests to flash the nvram.img file into phone that the official rom don't have . Any Solution to that?

Close that post , i have solved it myself after flashing stock rom and using an app called Ghost Phone
Developers pls help it's a very serious problem.while taking backup of Android via twrp backed up firmware also and while restore was unable to restore it gave error.after that flashed the same room once again but was unable to get IMEI numbers.else WiFi and all working having phone serial number and all.all the sensors are working after flashing stock firmware and reflashing custom rom. But unable to get IMEI back it shows 00 and the biggest problem is i have only 1 IMEI number with me and don't have 2 IMEI number pls help what to do.deleted the backup too that i took previously.
