There are a few people here who seem to have hopeless bricks. There are MTK flashing tools out there that are being used countless times for misc MTK devices:

The trick with SP flash tools is that in many phones it requires to take out the battery. Then the device shows up as mtk65xx preloader, all ready to be flashed. I think a couple of people here swapped the motherboards, so they got the boards unhooked from the batteries. Any chance to try this?
For the normal boot, there is a short time when the Fire shows up as MTK65xx pre-loader if connected to Windows via a cable, but then it quickly continues.
I figure Amazon has standard operating procedures to recover bricks, and they are probably easy to use just via the cable and perhaps some button push.
MTK tools are hopeless too !
So bricks will remain bricks ...

Hi all.
I've got a MK6575 iphone5 clone, but unfortunately after a week this little device stopped working.
The first problem is, that the camera cannot be started, it shuts down immediately after trying to start it.
The second problem is, that i cannot connect to wireless routers with WPA/WPA2 PSK or AES.
After 2 shutdowns/restarts the custom boot logo disappeared, too, so i have only the MediaTek logo.
Is there any recovery image I can install on that device?

Hello.
My hocus pocus with S4 clone named GT-i9500 ended in soft brick.
Unfortunately, before my testing, what this clone can handle, I didn't checked net, that exist correct stock rom for my model.
Luckily, I made a MTK droid backup.
Unluckily, I can't download whole backup back into the phone. I mean, I can flash basic files to phone, but not system files. I can enter 3e recovery and that's all.
System files, was backed up (by MTK droid tools) into system directory which have about 400MB. So I don't know, why system.ubifs.img file(created also MTK droid tools) has only 2MB.
This is probably reason, why phone won't start. I suspect, that it is by fake free space showed in storage menu...But it's only speculation.
So my question is, if is here any android specialist, which can recompile my system folder into system.img file, which I can flash via flashtool.
That skill is beyond my ability.

Exist some CWM recovery for thim model?
Hi, I've been working on replacing the OS on my fake Lenovo A808t for many days . I've followed several very helpful guides but I simply cannot get an alternative ROM to successfully replacement. The original stock ROM is buggy and won't even run properly as Phone is too Slow
Honestly, at this stage I'll try anything! So please give me the benefit of your experience and knowledge!
The phone is an unbranded clone. It's called "Lenovo A808T" but it's obviously not a Lenovo and A808T seems to be completely misleading - not even equivalent to the popular clone "A808T Golden Warrior" clone.

I got this phone to me from a friend to block the pop-up ads and auto updates and auto installtions of unwanted software in this phone. Except the LCD driver IC, since almost all the info reveals as per GIONEE P4, I tried to install that OS in this mobile and then it got soft-bricked.
Request the developers based on the MTKDROIDTOOLS info, to please provide me a better solution where I can flash through the PC.. (not through SD Card as the mobile is in OFF condition.

I have made a big mistake trying to install wrong rom on the tablet and now it is bricked (no preloader vcom driver) , in device manager just shows "MTK USB PORT" so i belive that is not the port for flashing or anyitng to comuincate with DRAM. I tried couple of similar ROM-s with SP flash tool but it shows me error 4032. According to mainboard is "ELINK-MV706Z_V2" Can somebedy make a beckup for this device or tell me where are the test points to activate preloader, foundet some rom on baidu.com but i cant register form my country Macedonia. By the way i have made a beckup with MTK tools and i have beckup file with no extension on it callled "ROM_0" and dont know what to do whith this file. I will be very thankful to somebody who can help me with this problem.
