I need to flash a new rom, i was using MIUI but my phone is now stuck on the torch screen (even after pulling batter, it goes right back to torch). My issue is that i can flash a new rom or load a nanodroid because my volume rocker does not work. I can get into CWM through the power options on the phone but i can navigate inside CWM. Anyone have any suggestions?

If there isnt a custom touch recovery for your phone, you can always grab the screwdriver, open up your phone and see if there is crud built up inside the volume rockers. Happened on our landline phones, some numbers wouldnt work, so my dad opened it and cleaned it out. Worked really good

Hello,
I run Slimkat 4.4.4 on my Galaxy S3 i9300. I keep the screen timeout low, so the screen goes dark when I'm in a phone call. During a call today, the screen wouldn't come back on even with the home or power buttons, so I did a reboot via the power button. The phone rebooted but with just static on the screen. I wasn't able to enter recovery. I need help!!
1. Is it possible to recover the phone from its current state? (I don't know if this is a HW issue or just a reflash would do.)
2. Before reflash, is it possible to save any data?
Thanks in advance.

See if you can get to recovery or download mode.
I wish I stole my HTC M9.

Do you See the i9300 logo when turning in your phone? Or this screen appears from the first Moment of turning on the phone?
