[Q] Problem flashing custom recovery on SM-G925F - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
first of all may I say I am not quite new to all this flashing/rooting/costom ROM/custom recovery installations. I've done this ever since Windows Mobile was the only OS for rather smart phones.
I have a problem with flashing TWRP cusotm recovery for my S6 Edge. I have even managed to brick it. Twice. I managed to rescue it only with Smart Switch from Samsung, typing in even the S/N on the box that came with the mobile.
Anyway, at this point, I have voided my warranty (Knox code = 1), I have installed another original firmware (different than the initial one I had when I got the phone) and I am rooted. As for flashing the TWRP recovery via Odin, I keep getting FAIL at the middle of the operation (I realised that changing USB port may sometimes make miracles), but even after getting a succesful flash, after rebooting the device and trying to access TWRP (via volume up + home + power) I get some quick flashes at the top of the screen, then phone shuts down and then gets into a bootloop. I only managed to get it out of this state by flashing ROOT again via Odin and then rebooting it.
Anyone has any idea why this error? Can I have the name of the exact TWRP file that needs to be flashed via ODIN for my phone variant? Below details about my version:
Type: SM-G925F
Android version: 5.0.2
Baseband: G925FXXU1AOCW
kERNEL VERSION: 3.10.61-4578881
VERSION NR: LRX22G.G925FXXU1AOCZ
Thanks in advance!
PS. I am now trying to download 5.1.1 UK version from sammobile and flash it via ODIN, but that will probably not solve my initial problem.

[Q][Help] s6 Edge only boots into Odin

Hello xda!
I bought a broken s6 Edge of a co-worker. I thought i could fix it but its giving me a headache
The problem is that it only turns on when plugged into the computer, the screen than shows a emergency recovery option on Kies or swift switch (which requires a recovery code. And I nor my coworker have) the other thing I can do is boot into Odin.
Now my question is: Does anyone know a way to recover it without that code?
I tried installing a stock s6 edge OS on it using Odin but everytime I get a write error.
Please help!

You don't have the sn at the back of the phone?. No box?.

the best thing to do is get the repair firmware files from sam mobile, flash each file in the right loading area. i.e cp for cp, ap in ap. if you flash a full file (usually names HOME) it never repairs the phone fully

Please help problems with my s6 edge plus

Hi,
My Samsung galaxy s6 edge plus SM-G928C IS bricked. I am able to boot to download mode so i used odin to install twrp on my phone. My phone started working again then it got a boot loop. I didint know what to do so i factory reset my phone now it gives me a erroe recovery is seandroid enforcing then it boots to twrp. I downloaded 4 diffrent stock roms for my phone and it always gives me a error after cm.bin or something. I dont know much about phone but can anyone help. Its driving me mad i have exams in a couple days and i didnt even study for them because i was trying to fix my phone and my isternet speed is awful so it takes like 8 hours to download each stock rom.
Make a emergency software recovery with kies or smart switch. Kernel is seandroid... is just text that tell u that u are using custom kernel.
No root or anything. Updated official software updates and phone on boot loop. How to get it back without losing data?
You can't. Reflash stock with odin.

Help, I think I soft-bricked my device and can't do an emergency recovery!

I tried to unroot my device but it got stuck in a bootloop, so I did some research and decided to restore it with smartswitch, it failed (I have no idea why) at around 70 percent.
The device is now showing me "An error occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software,
I tried to do a ton of times, I tried both the the emrgency recovery and the other option (I don't remember how it's called) and they won't work! The files are downloaded but then when the process starts it always gets stuck at 0 percent! I also tried to install the drivers, nothing
I alaso tried to flash a stock rom (no brand but I'm using TIM) and it immediately failed.
The device is a samsung s6 SM-G920F, it had 6.0.1 and m brand is TIM. Odin version is 3.12.3. I'm dowloading another stock firmware with my brand and 6.0.1, hopefully, does someone know why everything is not working?
Please help I'm going crazy
You may have to send your device back to your manufacture to get it fixed

[HELP] Samsung J320A Flashing Fail

So I tried to flash TWRP with Flashr on my J3, but when I booted into recovery a blue screen came up saying that system software not authorized by AT&T was found on your device. I got nervous and decided to flash a stock firmware on to my J3, but it fails every time. I finally got to like 10% but then it failed and a blue screen saying,"An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC Software." Smart Switch crashes every time I put in my serial number though so now I'm stuck with a bricked phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated :fingers-crossed:

Try flashing again with Odin, but this time use older versions, maybe v3.10.6 or v3.09.
Solution
I flashed a random root file that I found on another xda post and it managed to boot.

Next time, try not to flash files blindly, because any file that is wrong can brick your phone.

Soft Bricked S8+ please help

(Please note I am a complete newbie at this stuff and these attempts where the first time I have ever even tried/had to flash a ROM)
Okay so the other day my s8+ entered a bootloop after a system update, I have attempted to flash stock firmware onto the device but the problem is I am not sure if the firmware I am using are the correct ones, so far I have tried G955FXXU4CRJ5_G955FOXM4CRJ3_XEU,
and
DBT-G955FXXU4DSBA-20190220100802
but both times I get stuck at the no command screen, have tried going into recovery and wiping cache and doing a factory reset after both flashes also but that did not help
(Everything passes in odin)
(both flashes I flashed all stuff, BL, AP, CSC, CP) (Also tried Home CSC too for both)
the main problem is I have no idea if these are even the correct firmwares as I have no way of finding out from inside the phone as it will not boot
My phone is an s8+ purchased in the UK from Tesco Mobile
really really stuck with this so any help or advice given will be really appreciated.
