So i have AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Lolipop! And as some of you know , we still havent got perm-root available in our devices. So i have read before ,in order to disable "DVFS" you have to have root.
Is there anyway to Disable "DVFS" without root on lolipop?
Thanks

Hi,
I would like to unlock my i9070p so as to use it with another operator's simcard.
My phone is locked on ORANGE.
I heard about a method with root, busy box and galaxy s unlock on the android market but i don't know if il will work on the Samsung galaxy s advance (i9070).
Can anyone help me?
Well it's a shame this phone don't own a proper section here at xda, but i can ease your curiosity. All apps that used to work on other galaxy models WILL NOT work on galaxy s advance. I tried them all and so far, there is no known application or method to do so without paying....
Perhaps some older members from this forum can be kind enough to explain potential ways to do so. Till then, we just have to wait...
did you manage to unlock your i9070?
how did you do it? I'am interested to, in unlocking it.
Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II model SGH-I317M from Bell and i want to root it ONLY.
I DON'T want to install stock android or any other ROMs or MODs for now. I just want to root it so I can use some specific apps that requires root access and still want to keep TouchWiz.
So can someone please explain to me how you do it and give me the link. I also want to know if that will avoid my warranty and will I still get updates from Samsung and Bell. And if I will get updates, do I need to root my phone again after the update. Is it also possible to brick my phone during this process? And is bricking reversible?
Thank you so much in advance
Hello guys need some help here. So way back i rooted my galaxy s4 for att. I then unrooted it and now i cant update it and i think it has something to do with the root. If anybody could help and tell me what i need to do i would really appreciate it. So how do i fix it and be able to update again. Also its currently running 4.4.2
Guys, remember back in the days of HTC Desire HD, LG G2, where the "visionary method" provided for a temporary root that is active until you reboot? Or perhaps more recently, towelroot? Well I'm not a developer, so please forgive me if the question is naive, bordering on dumb.
I'm wondering if this could be the stop-gap between, saving your precious Galaxy S6 / S6 edge "root" virginity for the sake of the fabled Samsung Pay? Assuming that the temporary root will NOT trip KNOX-counter (I'm not sure I'm using the right term).
Thought it will be interested to find out! I tried searching for a plausible / existing solution but couldn't find something like that. Maybe @Chainfire might have an idea on how this might be achievable.

as of now u can not just temp root u can temp un-root but not visa versa......wish it was still that easy...I have tried that already and it does not work with the tmobile s6 edge
The big problem is that you need to find an android exploit to gain root as towel root did. Towel root did not trigger the knox efuse on the s5. so yes if one day there is an exploit you can gain root without Knox being triggert. (Assuming Knox is working like on the s5). You could even install different Roms via mobile odin. Just no recovery or bootloader.
But without an exploit there is no way to "secretly" gain root.
Hello I Need your Help to solve this problem I Have Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) With Android 5.0 my Phone not rooted And if i root it i will lose ota update and warranty I need to Block Adds in my phone I try to use adblock plus but after i configure adblock it made my internet very slaw now i need any App can install it without root my phone to block adds and not made my internet slaw

Wrong section to post this one, there is a help section for the s5 where this might be more appropriate..
Have you tried AdGuard? I haven't tried this myself so don't ask me if it works or not.
