I Bought This Phone About 2 Months Ago. It Was Going So Well. But Suddenly This Week The Touchscreen Is Starting To Go Crazy.
I Enabled The Touch Input At Dev Option And Got This As A Result. The Touch Keeps On Going To The Bottom Of The Screen.
But When I Put Both My Fingers It Returns Normal. If I Remove One Of My Fingers, The Other Touch Starting To Go Towards The Bottom Again. It Frequently Goes All The Way Down To My Home Button Causing My Phone To Quits All Apps That I Open And My Phone Starts To Vibrate Like Crazy. Any Help Is Appreciated.. ASAP!
This Is My Phone Spec :
Alcatel One Touch Pop D5 (5038D)
Up To Dual Touch
TFT Capacitive

Hi,
I have a touch screen problem with seems like if the screen "feels" a non-existing touch so that when I actually touch it with my finger it activates pinch-zoom mode.
The problem appeared after I left a phone on a shelf switched off for about 1.5 month waiting for a new battery to arrive. When I switched it on with a new battery the mess started.
Tried the old battery, factory reset. The problem persists, sometimes right after boot, sometimes 1-2 min after boot.
From searching the forum I understand the most common problem with Hero screen it bottom freeze, but that's not my case and I couldn't find problems similar to mine.
Thanks for help in advance.
I got the DNA on launch day and had not one issue with the touch screen. As soon as I Unlocked and Rooted it, one portion of the touch screen does not respond to touch. I used the pointer test in Developer settings and it just skips over the area. It is over the "M" key on the keyboard making it impossible to hit "M". Anyone else have this issue and is there a way to fix this as I feel this is a software issue, not hardware.
Hello
I have got a Star n9770 aka the Galaxy note clone.
Now here is my problem. When the phone is charging I can not use the touchscreen. I try to unlock the lock screen but once I pressed a button it registers that I have pressed another button other than the one I pressed multiple of times.
Now the funny thing is if I unplug the phone the touchscreen works perfectly fine. It only registers the button I pressed once.
I'm planing to get a replacement also due to their is some kind of a rubber band strip showing on the right hand side of the screen.
Thank you for your time to listen out the issue I'm facing.
Hello, i have an Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3.5 and i am having a problem regarding the touchscreen.
I noticed that whenever i tried to play a platformer game my character would suddenly stop moving while jumping, or just not jump high enough. and there also times where the controls would just lock up for few seconds before it would let me move again.
it was getting really annoying so i decided to use a multitouch testing app. those were the results:
I saw that it only detected 2 touch points and when i had two fingers on the screen far apart, it saw both fingers as separate touch points. but when they were close to eachother it would count as one single touch point in the middle.
