i have bought the iron man s6 edition came with the SM-G925L and still not update yet and it has alot of Korean bloatware (No offense to koreans) anyways im willing to all suggestions for flashing the G925F with rooting unlocking flashing twrp whatever it takes to get the newest 5.1.1

Wouldn't flashing custom firmware keep you from having the special Iron Man themes? (the special edition comes with different themes than what is in the 'theme store'). I believe the primary differences are icons and additional animations.
I already have the iron man phone.. I want to de brand it i dont care about the warranty i just want to find a way tp unbrand

Can you help me out i bought mine yesterday and the guy who sold it told me to flash a firmware that belong to the chinese version and it ruined the phone i lost all of the ironman theme. Can you help me out and let me get the stock firmware before you get rid of it please and thank you

So here it goes, I have recently bought my I9200 in China before I came back home and to my surprise ( well i expected that after previous story i had with Galaxy tab) i found there is totally no support for google. No play store and any attempts of installing gmail or play store were ending up in fail. I downloaded plenty of OFFICIAL roms from different regions hoping to go around his pathetic Chinese government-childish blocade of google... unfortunately during any attempt of flashing it through ODIN i get ext4 fail error in odin... im using 3.07v so it shouldnt be a problem... might it be cause of different kernel ? which i need to preflash before flashing ROM itself ?
I am still waiting for Casie to finish his Xtralite ROM for i9200 but before i was hoping to at least get my gmail back on my mobile....

It is very strange because I lived in Beijing for a long time (and was there last week), and google services do work there without any problem (well Youtube don't but that revolutionary tool have been blocked for a while now )
Do you need to tick the option for Unknown sources in the Security section of options?
Also, is it really the phone that you thought you were buying? This can happen in China, sadly...

im sure its genuine samsung....i checked imei on heir website. its not isssue of thatt.. and yes once u bought phone out of China it should be fine but for the phones from chinese market google is blocked.... Its not the issue of android blocking google... i have problem with uploading new ROM into my mobile and getting weird errors....

hmmm... then maybe a hardware defect, should maybe try to have it changed to a new one.

I bought Mega from Iraq, and I made a mistake, flashed 5 files official rom to my phone , but Chinese version.
Now, same to u, has no Google service...

But I find a way, just download a international "5 files official Rom" (including" pit /bootloader /PDA/phone /CSC" )
Using Odin like normal flash, then after u can flash any international Rom with Google service
I hope u can find i said that "5 files official rom" and share it, plz

Oh, fair enough.
I always bought my phones on the "gray" market in Beijing, never from a carrier store, so that's why I had international versions without limitations.
There has to be a way, but you will need to look around on chinese forums and such I think.

Are not the Chinese phones but the I9200ZCUAMF4 Rom's made by Samsung to China.
I flashed on my International Phone to try a ZC Rom and not had also Google account, play store, nothing of Google.
If I flash a ZH to HongKong I have all of that.
Samsung GT-i9200 Galaxy Mega 6.3 16GB --> International model.
88x167.6x8mm, 199g, Google Android 4.2.2 , 32bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8230AB, 1700MHz CPU, 1536MiB RAM, 15258MiB ROM, 6.3" 720x1280 (not need any pit file)

I means mainland! In China, mainland has no G service, but HK,TW is different !
HK version is same to intl version! but mainland version different!
If u wanna try, I can give u ch version 5files Rom , but if u flash it after, u can't change Rom to intl version !!

Download this rom I9200XXUCML1_SERCML3 from Z3x Support. it has 4 files and u can find the pit file at z3x also.
But , i flashed my i9200 with these files but it stuck on Samsung logo ,
do Wipe data and still the same , i cant get Wipe cache to work when ever i try phone restart immediately.
now i am working on PAC custom rom . flashed recovery then pac_melius3gxx-nightly-20140310 rom and now my phone is working.
it ia not functioning well but i have no solution yet
one single app called 谷歌安装器 can get it done
you can find it in 豌豆荚（an app provide searching & downloading apk）

my first post, okay i live in ethiopia and i happen to get my hands on a galaxy s duos which i doubt its original since it dont have the duos logo on right top and antutu says i have 3.1 and .3 mp of camera but its the same elsewhere on the phone, ram, processor.
Now my question is my country is not listed on the update list and so can i use a very updated rom from random country and update it? or should i wait to someday it gets in? and if yes with what installer cause OTA is impossible?

first you have to be sure it is original or not check on setting-about
and post also check on the battery compartment back of the phone and post
if it is not original you cant use odin you have to try something else

just before i saw your quote i attempted to root it and i cant mount the emmc or sd card
by the way i saw a review of this phone on youtube by igyaan and they look exactly the same up to down except the duos logo, i said this b/c the first dous looked the same not exactly and i almost picked up a fight with the store owner trying to get them to change it!

From about i think its fine so try to update throgh odin
Go to samsung updates.com and downlad the latest firmware according to thhe code in your case its xx as in the about section and flash it using odin

there are a lot of firmwares with xx on the start but different next like xxalj or xxbmd
and the region, i found a GLB one with bmd2 and AFR with alhc ...
would you like to suggest an update from the site?

your build is xxama2 and from the list those build are for east asia countries like philipines Thailand etc
where did you got this device from?
do you have a package if yes check the package the country code will be there
or flash a firmware that is nearest to you

the GLB with xxbmd2 which is required for most custom roms is philipines and in bracket it says global. should i go for it? i got the device from a contraband importer in which its the convinient means to get cheap phones though illegal. its very expensive from certified importers. to accomplish that they have to ditch the carton and pretend its theirs so its more likely from asia but no idea where its originally from!

it is not global it is globe
it is a telecom company like at&t sprint etc
so that will not work for you just go for phlipines or any xxama2 country and find the updated one

bro this is getting wierd by the minute, i saw xx means europe like uk and the rest is kinda foggy. so i uploaded my pda csc and phone so that people like you who understand this thing can suggest me the correct rom. about the stock rom in the link, is it the one? again thanks for the help!

Every code represents a region xx represents uk but the next code is different it will not be like ama1 check samsung updates the first link i gave you
And usualy samsung updates.com and sammobiles.com are genuine sites in we believe which provides original samsung firmwares so downloading from those will be better and i guess your phone is as said is an asia model so download an asian firmware nothing bad will happen if it doesnt work we can try another

please tell me a specific one, in my country downloading a rom or ipsw takes a long time considering facebook standard connection. so if i download a wrong one the lose is two ways.so please i want to speed it up maybe overclock it with a custom kernel, and my current benchmark is 4170 PMP light rom promise a 5000 benchmark so i need a bmd2 update. i really want to nail it in one go for above reason.

Im stuck a bit with update. I have downloaded the 5.0.2 android for my phone from sammobile but unfortunately odin always fail with the firmwares.
The only thing what i can do is installing back my old firmware, Otherwise not even kies could recognise my phone.
Is there a reason why its now allowing me to update it?
My current android is G850FXXU2BNK3_G850FOJV2BNK5_TUN
And i have tried G850FXXU2COI3_G850FNEE2COI1_NEE (This is for nordic countried...5.0.2)
and also tried G850FXXU2COE4_G850FH3G2COE1_H3G(This is for GB and H3G service provider)
Unfortunately both failed at the end.
I have tried the usual troubleshooting which was described here, but i think i just cannot find the proper 5.0.2 android for my phone.
Is it important which country i choose?
I bought the phone on ebay a year ago, made in Vietname, and the csc is TUN.
Please let me know if you need any more information.

No it is just a simple sm-g850f (Tun).
I have put back the tunesian (original) firmware and it works like a charm now again....but still no luck with 5.0.2

Hi Folks,
Just looking for a bit of advise. I have messed around with rooting and unlocking my phones in the past. I have always just followed guides here or youtube etc so not really having an clear understanding of the potential pitfalls.
I have imported an LG V10 from South Korea and overall am very happy with it. However for some reason it seems to be locked for international data roaming.
Can I get past this by flashing a UK or European firmware onto this phone when they become available ?
What device ID's or Radio's do I need to match etc or basically what do I need to watch out for. This phone can't go back to be repaired if I break it so want to make extra sure its worth it.

it always depends if fm chip builted in S808 inside your variant it was phisically enabled or not
i always wonder why manufacturer would add more work physically disabeling something that just do a commong motherboard and then just lock it on the software side or not.
is there an adroid app that could find/see what chip is on my version? (considering it s installed or not)

Ok so long story
I bought an imported LG600S from a guy on eBay who had imported it directly from South Korea I believe direct from SK Telecoms.*
This phone appears to be unlocked for any network here in the UK. *I am using a 3 Hutchison sim in it at the moment which I get calls and LTE speeds. *I have also tried a UK Vodafone sim in the phone and that works fine too.*
My problem appeared when I went to Paris France. My contract gives me unlimited data even when roaming abroad. *However in France the phone would not allow me to switch on data networks. It gave me the warning message which I have attached. *I click the accept tags but still the slider for data network was blocked (grayed out) with a message saying I needed to contact Mobile T Roaming and gave me a link to a South Korea customer service centre . *I tried to call it but obviously I don't speak Korean *
I have tried an unlocking service called unlockscope who gave me a number of codes for my IMEI number. *However none of these codes worked as the phone does not prompt you for an unlock code when you swap sims. *They also gave me a few number strings to put into the dialer to try and force it to ask for a code, however these didn't work either. As an aside the unlockscope company has offered me a full refund and we're very good at trying to trouble shooting my issue. *
So now I am a bit of a loss as to what to do next?*
I need international data roaming for work but can't figure out how to unbarr it except maybe for flashing a different *on the device firmware to get round the block.??*

Hi wolfgart... I have problem same like this. My LG G3 is korea set and firmware country taiwan. Before I flash to lolipop firmware malaysia my Lg G3 kitkat network only 2.5g only... After I flash to stock rom lolipop firmware malaysia my phone no more network.. after that I flash to custom rom CloudyG3 also same problem dont have any network. It like hard locking network. Hope people here can give any idea to solve my problem. ( sorry for my bad English)

yes you can but your radio problem will not solve i flashed H900 and H960 firmwares on my v10 (f600s ) every thing wifi blah blah worked except the signals there were no signals and in about network status it shows "radio off". you can only flash dz in your v10 download kdz of mentioned models and convert them to dz via kdz tools and then refirbush.

So, its mean still possible to cross flash/convert from korean variant to international, all working except signal?
Or, can I flash with another korean varian? For example now I have V10 LG U+ (F600L) to V10 SKT (F600S)? How to do?

yes you can test if u want at your own risk I also had f600s and now I am using the latest nougat firmware downloaded from here "https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v10/general/lg-v10-f600l-f600k-f600s-android-n-7-0-t3611676"" use the f600k version it works for me each and everything worked perfectly for me.
1. download the kdz
2. use kdz tools to convert it dz format.
3. use lgup to flash (it will not say invalid kdz)
im here to ask something: if you can flash a H960(A) kdz on to F600(K,S,L)...the opposite can be done too without losing features? like put the firmware V30 Nougat in V20 European?
I dont care about FM Radio working or not, only want network and wifi working.

How is battery life on nougat?
Hi guys, I just bought an Honor 5x in Shenzhen. Unfortuantely it does not come with Gapps, a lot of details are still in Chinese even though the language has been changed and some apps are not working properly (GChrome, for instance, seems not to be "compatible with this device" )
Can anyone of you suggest a compatible/working "western" ROM that I can flash? (also a link on the flashing method would be great :good. Please note that this model is KIW-UL00 and I'm going to use it in Europe.

you wont find international ROM for your device but you can flash custom ROMs based on international ROMs
or restore stock ROMs backup with twrp

I think twrp for international models should work fine because they added many models in it and i already used chinese Roms and all of them works fine
And yeah backup is the most important thing with latest twrp version to backup cust/oeminfo and other important partitions
