Hopefully I'm not late with this possible way of finding out which app is sending that toast message, and hopefully this will work for you, when I read about your issue I immidiately remembered a similar situation with my old tablet which kept on sending "failed to download attachment" toast message, and since I had Xposed I used XToast to let the toast message be accompanied by the app name, but then this would not work on our devices since we don't have Xposed, I then did a google search and found this app "Notification History" here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.evanhe.nhfree&hl=en I then preceeded to install it and see if it will work for you, now I think this will at least help you find out which app is sending that "results 0" toast message, HOPEFULLY!

Cool!!! I'm glad it worked as I know factory reset is not a nice thing, it's also a good thing to get the pro version to support further development.

Yes, factory reset can be used as last solution when reaching dead end.
The developer puts very good efforts on that app and going for pro version will be good support for him

My wife have the same exact problem on her GS5 running lollipop, and I think the cause of this is the same app (cinescape) since she installed it few days back.
I will try to uninstall it and see what happens.

Good afternoon,
I had installed the Setcpu apk on my phone and I realized how amazing the app is and how much it helps me out daily. I went ahead and decided that the least I could do was to go ahead and purchase it in the market as my appreciation but after uninstalling the app, the following happens:
I go to the app in the market and it says purchased. Please note I still have not purchased it.
I then click on it and install but then it will return an error saying I have no purchased it yet, so it seems I am stuck in between.
Anyone know of a way of fixing this so I can buy this application from the dev?
I went ahead and sent him an email but I have not heard back from him.
He is probably trying to figure it out himself.
Thanks beforehand as always.

Was it a pirated app? If so that is a no no . If it was a demo then just clear data under applications see if it helps.

It was an apk off of XDA. There is no way to clear data unless application is still installed.

Uninstall setCPU. Market has it in its cache that you own it because it's a paid app on their service and you have it installed on your phone.
Then clear market data, go back into market and the app should be gone. Then you should be able to purchase it.
He had released a version for xda members for free awhile back. I had it on og evo. It's not warez, the dev just tested it with xda members and that was his way of saying thanks.

Yes sir. It seems to be locked under my Google account.
ive seen happen a couple times to a couple different people...the solution that seemed to work is an older version of the market... what if you go to the market website and buy it and install it from there?? that might work also
you are aware setcpu is a lil funky on the evo 3d due to dual core and all??... i could never get it to work properly for me..
What if I uninstall the updates to the market? Are you sure it will work with older versions? Can anyone back up his statement regarding setcpu on the evo 3d? I thought it was working pretty good but you can never know for sure.
I too am having the same issue. I downloaded here on the xda forums but would like to purchase it on Android Market but says ready purchased when not. Worse case scenario is to contact google support and see if they are able to unlink it from my account
Have you tried to use the titanium backup function to detach from market? Find the app, long press on it in titanium and select detach. No clue if this will fix, just an idea.

I'm running it now. I had it sitting in the uninstalled section of my apps for the longest time. Finally a few days ago, I decided to look at it and in the changelog, they said they improved support for our device's SoC (and specifically listed the 3d as one of the devices they improved support for). Now the app works just as it should, and it only requests superuser access once when the phone starts up, as opposed to asking once every 30 or so seconds like it used to.

Google play keeps a record of every app downloaded under a gmail account including the free ones. I was going through this list and found a bunch of old apps that I don't want or aren't even on the market anymore. Does anyone know of a way to "clean up" this list by removing unnecessary or unneeded apps? I don't know if I'm missing something but I can't seem to figure it out for some reason. Do I need to manage the Gmail account from a computer? Any insight is appreciated.

nope but it isn't supposed to show all that
it used to show your updates available, then all up to date installed, then at very bottom it would show all purchased but not installed apps
here we go people
temporary fix for the issue
and some sweet looking markets to go along with it!
go here http://www.droidforums.net/forum/b-boy/167282-3-5-15-market-google-play-blacked-out.html
and grab one of the themed 3.4.7 vending.apk
extract the vending.apk from the zip
go to manage apps and uninstall updates on Google play store(will be under downloaded apps tab)
then use your favorite root capable file explorers to push the themed vending.apk to system/app , change permissions to rw-r--r-- ,reboot, enjoy!
I picked the black/cyan one, it's sexy!
the issue does not occur on this version of the play store, and it won't auto update on ya since it is themed

Hey Ash,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. I can certainly understand your frustration with seeing every app in your "All" tab in My Apps. At this time, there is no way to delete records of old apps either on the Google Play website (play.google.com) or from the My Apps section of the Google Play Store app.
We know that some users are looking for a way to delete old apps from Google Play, and we'll certainly take this into account as we work to improve the Google Play experience in the future.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions- I'm happy to help.
Regards,
BretAnne The Google Play Support Team

Hi Ash,
Thank you for writing back to me. Unfortunately at this time there isn't an option to view just your purchased apps linked to your account. In addition, The Google Play app will automatically update itself when newer versions become available. This is a silent update from the device manufacturer or carrier, which means you will not see a notification and will not be prompted to update.
I appreciate you contacting us with feedback about the Google Play app. I'll certainly take this back to the team so we can continue to make improvements in the future. Please keep in mind that at this time, for users who receive the update to Google Play, there's no way to permanently revert back to Android Market or earlier versions of Google Play.
Please don't hesitate to contact us again if you experience any other issues or have additional feedback on Google Play.
Sincerely,

lmao
before, they had an issue with none of the my apps showing, now they have an issue where to many apps are showing
I, just want to be able to view the list of all my purchased apps easily from within Google play app.
that's how older versions were, and if I wanted to see All Apps I ever installed including free ones not installed anymore I used the website...
Ash the black market looks nice. I tried the app first but I screwed that up lol tried to uninstall update to market and ended up deleting it instead. But I used the flashable zip in his thread and it worked great. I also seen on that thread you linked the other colors but it looked like those colors were for older versions? Not a big deal to me since it comes with the blue which matches my theme anyways but thanks for sharing this looks better I like.
Update
Apparently they started pushing 3.15.6 to devices yesterday
Check my twitter for article&download
Supposed to fix issue with finding purchased apps
I will report back when I look into it
Hopefully the person who themed that to the black/blue market will do it to this market as well

I really kind of like the list being accessible at all times. The other day I went it and found some awesome games I used to play. I'm also the kind of person that likes to start anew when flashing new to me and the service allows me to pick and choose what I want to keep.

Well now an update
So the newest version of play store
Not only does it NOT fix the issue of not being able to easily view ALL PURCHASED apps, but now I ALSO get NO INFO whatsoever about which ones have updates
I found it odd that all my in stalled apps were "up to date" started checking them all and low and behold I had five that had updates available
this is getting frustrating as hell
Everyone with these issues NEEDS to report them to google support so they can fix them ASAP
Its strange that o never got the update you guys ate talking about biy my wide did because she has that same list although I rp not have it in my market

Has anyone managed to install Swype on your SGS3? I'm desperately searching for a way to install it. Mine is a stock set from Singtel in Singapore, pre-loaded with Singtel and Samsung bloatware, but with no swype.
Attempting to install from swype installer gives me a parsing error.
Installing using a backup apk from my SGS1 makes the swype have a funny resolution. it only fills half the screen.
anyone have a solution? i'm so used to swype that manual typing is really awkward for me.
Yup, I know exactly how you feel.
I've been using Swype Since the Omnia!
I'm on a Singtel S3 as well.
Download the installer & try to get swype installed over a Wifi connection.
I too got the "Parsing" error.
I had to make several attempts (~10) before it finally downloaded Swype.
I didn't vary anything in each attempt; just kept hammering at it to get the download going.
Hope this helps!
So it's a network error? Doesn't seem like it to me. I've tried on several wifi connections to no avail. just tried clicking

I got that when i had tw5 installed on my s2. Once I switched to a different launcher it worked

Because a uk based phone rep has close links with the Samsung developer hierarchy. Lol.
More likely to do with licencing too many 3rd party apps methinks. And a desire to keep it in house.

the problem is that it can't be installed. when you select "Swype Beta" and click download, it ALWAYS gives a "Parse error" no matter which network you are on. shahid317's method is a quick fix for those who can't live without swype. it's not exactly swype (not as intuitive.. or maybe i'm just not used to it) but it will work for now.
Freakadroidz said:
No, I'm not sure that it's a network error.
You can also check up on the parsing error on Swype forums.
The resolution is perfect for the SIII.
Screenshots are here:

My phone's not rooted, but I have access to the system area thru ES File Explorer.
I don't see Swype .apk files in /system/app.
Anyone got any ideas where it might be?

Wish I knew!
Swype beta works fine here, just have to make one turn after each reboot so Swype comes full size.

I'd say the rep knows nothing, considering Samsung integrated some of Swype into their keyboard. I just prefer to have the extra characters easily available, and the cut, paste, arrow stuff.
I've technically got it installed through my ti backup, but I've also been trying to reinstall it. My tab upgraded and has a newer version, and I'm hoping that it may solve the height issue. To those that have it installed is it still much shorter than other keyboards?

I'm also getting the "Parse error" on my unrooted SIII, no matter what wireless network or 3g connection I have. Quite annoying the Samsung version just doesn't quite cut the mustard so to speak.

Because a uk based phone rep has close links with the Samsung developer hierarchy. Lol.
More likely to do with licencing too many 3rd party apps methinks. And a desire to keep it in house.

haha well I don't trust reps that much - but I just thought to mention it. I can only convey the info I was told - and thus you and I can decide whether it's valid or not
But....the Swype app...was the best app there was on my S1

Yeah, I just installed the beta (I signed up for it ages ago).
I think Samsung probably scrapped it because they added a swype type option for their inbuilt keyboard.

And yeah I see...although is the integrated one as "complex" and "good" as the normal swype?
Can anyone provide the swype apk ??

I have an ATT SG5 and going to return it for a rootable device. Anyway does the TMO Version have Black core apps like the Dialer, Email and EME. I just hate the White on ATT. Or does the international ROMs have Black apps?

The international roms have the black apps, t-mobile has the white. No bid deal though if you want it the other way around, just download the other one and copy the apps you want to priv_app folder.

PS: I didnt test these alone and have tons of things on my pc, just make sure that I uploaded the right ones for me If they are wrong I will fix it. I didnt create a flashable zip yet either, just extract and copy them to system/priv_app. Make sure to backup the old ones first. This is the dialer and messenging app. Any other requests just let me know!

Dark E Mail app
I have tried pulling 3 email apps from 3 "international" roms (at least I think they are) all have white background and one even would not install my pop3 account properly. I would really love to get rid of this "white" email but it is beyond my ability to do it. Does anyone have a Reversed email that I may install on the Allience2 T-Mobile rom?

I am still on an ATT device so I can't test yet but in the past the following has also worked for the email app.
Using Root Explorer try going into phone root/system/csc. Open features.xml using a note text editor with super user access.
<!-- Email -->
<CscFeature_Email_UseFixedBgColorAsWhite>false
</CscFeature_Email_UseFixedBgColorAsWhite>
Try changing this setting and boot into recovery and clear your Cache and Dalvik Cache. I hope this helps. Let me know.

I believe that the international version may have also been released with the white background. Not to sure why. But as mentioned above there is a csc option to change it. I am working on adding a few hacks and tweaks to the one in my rom and plan to (eventually) release all my modded apps that I have done seperately so they will be flashable on every rom.
Kudos to the poster who uploaded his stock apps. That isn't usually what I think of as inverted though.
Here are white, dark and inverted dialers. Inverted themes are usually predominantly black, a lot more so than the stock dark app..

Yeah, but in this case he was talking about the black background stock app from the international roms. The T-mobile roms come stock with the white background apps.
Just an fyi also, changing the dialer will not change the incoming call screen. This is a seperate app incall.apk. When this app is changed though it will break wifi calling on the T-mobile devices.
This Module will prevent apps from detecting other installed apps on your device setting are done on per app basis.

Sorry Guys I uploaded the wrong apk check now
as for kitkat I am doing tests for compatibility
Cool, works now. Nice work, wyk02!
I hid Xposed and SuperSU for Snapchat and logins are still blocked.
I'm pretty sure most people are gonna try that, so I'll save you five minutes.

Hii Thanks alot, this is my first xposed module, I used it to hide Supersu app from games,
It should be working for snapchat and supersu, but maybe there is check that is not on your side ?

Snapcheck checks for Xposed (because of Snapprefs), but I guess they don't check for the app. Just noting that for anyone who tries it; saving time.
Hy there,
This module caused a heavy lag/freeze and bootloop for me. Managed start the phone again (idk how), and removed it from xposed, now everything's working fine.
Phone: Sony Z2 (D6503) with pre-rooted android MM (6.01)
This works perfect to hide @Shaftamle keyboards from play services so they don't fc. Thank you!!
Did it works for hide Snapchat?
Android Pay would be another nice app if this would work using this method. I know I've tried others like root cloak etc. and other methods but they don't work unfortunately.

Hello,
Sadly it's still laggy, and still causes bootlop.
I try to post a log from mega (file was too big for pastebin, and I don't know how to upload it here yet)
mega.nz/#!EYcklQBK!thsSDn0V7CS4lykUTdFr6gP9g27OOjQQsAYGW2Wtx8k
And ofc I don't have enough posts
Tried hiding Messenger from Facebook and it worked lol.
Tested on Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100 TW 4.4.2
Just a little suggestion ....
Add a little note for example; color the row of the app that's been hidden from any other app so you know which apps are hidden just by opening the main apps menu.

If i can suggest one more thing [emoji5] ...
When you select an app from the main menu, then get into the 2nd internal one; remove the auto focus on the text box so that you dont have to see the keyboard everytime.
And show a toast message to say for example "the app is hidden now" when you press the button.
Thanks so much for your work.

upload new versions if you'd like to check again. it fixed a bootloop on my device which happened after a system crash (some weird case)
turns out it was class cast exception on a return argument, and the caller turned out to be system app.
