Hi everyone just a quick question I am currently running a HTC desire 310 Android version 4.2.2 kernal 4.3.5 (don't know if that is much help)
I only just figured out how to root my phone and now I would like to install a custom rom
I tried the usual rom manger and cwm tool box to which they don't support my device and i was wondering if anyone knows if there is any custom ROMs out there for my device I have tried going on Google but to my surprise I could not find any

OK, i am on the 3 network and have sent an email to LG regarding updating to 2.2.3 and they say that it is only available in the UK on the T-mobile network, I want to no if i can manually update to 2.2.3 that is compatible with the UK and my network. If not is there anyway to unlock my phone to make it compatible?
I have already rooted my phone using Gingerbreak
If i can update is there anywhere where i can get download links and a step by step guide that will work on my phone? i have been through many posts that explain things but i still am not to sure whether they will work with my phone, and if the ROM will work with my phone.
If i could get some advice or if someone could point me in the right direction of a post that will help me i would be most grateful!
Again i'm sorry if i am completely missing the obvious, i'm just a n00b in the process of learning.

I meant that i want to update to 2.3 gingerbread, or if anyone no's of any better ROM's that would be great, i generally use my phone for games, apps, music and browsing the internet so i just assumed that the official 2.3 ROM would be a better option but i am open to any suggestions. Download rom manager from market and flash clock wok rocovery and use a rom from ther they are mostly based on 2.3 or if you looking for something more advanced with tweeks download a rom from here make shur you have the right baseband 1st

First of all I used this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012654, with the stock kernel of EVO7. The problem is that my WiFi and Bluetooth doesn't work. I want to return to the stock ROM, but I can't find it. Does anybody have idea for fix the WiFi problem or pls somebody tell me where can I find Stock ROM for this tablet?
I really hope somebody can help me.

If you are looking for stock ROM for Alcatel One Touch Evo 7 - with 4.0.4 there you have:

Hi, can you anyone help me? I find stock rom for "alcatel onetouch evo 7 HD" T-Mobile Hungary. Unfortunately I installed RomManager, and my backup is probably wrong... The tab boot into cwm. If I use the alcatel software, which flash the stock rom, it boot to red exclamation mark robot. Thank you!

For those who had problems with stock ROM, we´ve successfully dumped the original one.
Download from link below:

Use "ROM_Dumper_Tool" and fullfill all related fields into download image tab with files in output folder, and click run.

I'm stuck on 4.0.1. It is meant to be a kitchen tablet, so spotify would be very welcome, but version for 4.0.1 is extremely buggy...

I have decided to root my S3 and flash a custom rom of android 4.4.2 on it. Now, i've flashed roms before but what i dont remember and need help with is the difference between the roms and which one is the right one for my device and the carrier i'm with.
I got my S3 from Vodafone Australia. If i remember correctly flashing a rom designed for different radio kernels (i think thats what it was) will brick the phone. is this right? if so could someone please tell me how to find the right rom?
I tried to search and find my answer in forums but couldn't find anything, so any help would be highly appreciated!

you can brick your device only when you flash a rom which is not made for your device...
first confirm that your device is gt i9300
then you can try out any rom from here

just find the rom that suit you and read the instructions before installing anything..
for ex for 4.4.2 roms you have to update your recovery to the latest cwm or twrp..
When you flash do not allow the rom to update the radio, otherwise you will lose network connection. Search and read in general forum for Australian S3 discussion.

How are you guys out there this is my first time on this forum, so if I am doing anything wrong please tell me.
So here is the information of my phone, I have a HTC Desire 728g/728x and It is bootloader unlocked, rooted and flashed with TWRP Recovery.
And here is the situation, I found this phone in my Android pile and I remembered that this phone was in its stock rom which was loaded with HTC Sense. And because I am more of a flat/material person, HTC Sense just doesn't have enough customization for it to have a flat/material UI, All my other phones I managed to find AOSP, or lineage os for them in order to make them look nice in a flat/material way. But this phone, "HTC Desire 728g Dual SIM" is soooooooo rare... I can't manage to find any ROM for it. So does anyone also use this phone and have a good ROM that you can link me? Or anyone who's facing the same issue??
Also I am a newbie in the Android community (3 months) I want to check my steps in flash my ROMs and some questions on repartitioning .
1. Download the ROM and G App
2. Go to TWRP and backup
3. Wipe the phone
4. Repartition if needed
5. Flash the ROM
6. Wipe the phone again
7. Flash open G apps.
Questions:
How do you check your phones partition size and how do you know if your phone needs repartitioning, is there a way to calculate if so how?
Is there different files to flash on every different phone?
If so is there a good reliable link to repartitioning files with a good selection of phones?
Thankyou if there is anyone that can help me it would be very much appreciated and sorry for the amount of questions since I really need to get these of my chest and get an answer to everyone of them and those links are gonna help me in my future career, as my dream is to be a computer engineer and create all these kinds of stuff for people in the community to enjoy.
