I have a verizon SCH I545 With Android 4.4.2 that is unloked from Verizon, I use it on another network
I want to update my phone to android 5.0.1 or 5.1 but i do not want the phone to lock again on verizon(software update is not working).
Which is the best way to update my phone? Du you recommend me any ROM?

Hi I recently bought Verizon Galaxy S4, running Android 4.4.2 , and I want to upgrade it to Official 4.4.3 .
Since I am outside Verizon service area I can't update it through OTA , is it possible to update it through ODIN ? Any help Please guys

Where have you heard there's an official 4.4.3? I'm pretty certain 4.4.2 NC5 is the latest official build from Verizon.

So I am new to android from iPhone (finally converted) and I have always jailbroken my devices. I now have my samsung s5 g900a but it automatically updated to 4.4.4 G900AUCU2A0A1. I am now aware that Towelroot can only root this device on 4.4.2. I have not been able to find a clear description on downgrading from 4.4.4 to 4.4.2 and then being able to root my device. If anyone could help or have suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Hi, a friend of mine have a Samsung Note 8.0 (GT-N5100), her phone was on stock rom version 4.1.2, recently she bought a Samsung Galaxy Gear generation 1, then she heard that she need to upgrade her phone to Kitkat 4.4.2 only able to pair with Gear, but then she is not able to update the system to latest 4.4.2 via OTA, on the OTA update only update her phone to 4.2.2 then she keep trying to check update from there, also not getting any further update.
I found some info from the http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-N5100/XME/
And I attached 2 images which is from my friend phone info and from sammobile.

i have a samsung galaxy s5 plus, SM-G901f.
i upgrade to lollipop 5.0.2. This new update lollipop is killing me with its lag !
is there any possibility to downgrade back to kitkat 4.4.4?
