[Q] Anyone want to help porting Android 5 to Nexus One - Nexus One Android Development
Hi i know nexus one is a bit old but i Want to see Android 5 on it it has 1 ghz cpu and half a gig of ram but Galaxy s plus have this too and it has Android 5 and HTC HD 2 has even the same CPU and it has Android 5.
SO DON´T LET THIS AWESOME PHONE DIE.
Pls. help me to port it
I'd love to see it happen and would help where I could but I'm kind of swamped with different projects at the moment. I'm not sure what your experience level is but you'd need a capable kernel developer to get anything working.

Thats exactly why i asked i need someone with Kernel Skills to port 3.0 Kernel maybe it would work with the desire 3.0 kernel

I wanted to port CM13 from the Leo but i didn't want to go through all the but fixing stress so i just stopped.

as far as porting goes I've done a few successful ports i could try but I'd need someone to test also a compatible hboot and recovery and a kernel.

so whose gonna compile the recovery and kernel cause i have no idea unless ported from the bravo.......... :-/ skeptical if it'll work i like source but i saw a kernel 3 thread somewhere on the N1 forum.
Never ported L before but eh its hyped.
I have best environment for compiling but no skills in source porting this was my first shot and my the flash kernel was from a tutorial

I have good environment octa-core 54gb ram Ubuntu 15.10 but no really skills I'm just able to compile from source and we could try taking Leo's kernel they share the CPU and gpu

Bro try create 2 partitions ext4 ~1gb and flash rom 6.0 from htc desire if booted and stuck logo,bro need read logcat. I thing other expenses vendor files. Basically , this device 2 Chapter 1 Hardware

I don't have any connections with other themers besides myself and vtwin (creator of these two roms and the USA Olympics one) but he's pretty much handed off all the theming to me Sent from my Droid Razr using xda app-developers app

Don't feel stressed because of me. I have time I guess something Black & Red would be nice. Other Users would like it, too. There was an Thread in Theme Section about it. I spoke with the other developer and he said the GSM patch should work on all aokp and cm9 roms but nothing is promised so make a back up. If u want u can try flashing this in order: rom, gapps, patch, reboot. Sent from my Droid Razr using xda app-developers app
The GSM Patch worked just flawless on GB. My Favorite was the Widow and i was almost daily in Andlaws Thread. But since we use ICS, it's impossible to get an working data connection for us. No you can't. It might be possible to port it to the evo 3d but that requires some skills just dont try to flash any sensation rom, you might brick your phone
There are a couple of JB ROMs based on the Nexus in CDMA development, but none from the Sensation afaik. Save the Drama for your Mama with Tapatalk 2

Click to collapse i initially thought since they have almost the same hardware it can be done, however anandtech's review suggested that there is a different WiFi Chip in one MAX compared to the One which i guess would be a deal breaker. That said, given the major of the components are same, it should not be tough for someone to just repack/rebuild the kernel for One MAX referring to the source codes from One. On date, i don't think there is any kernel for 4.3 since HTC has not released the kernel sources for any of the device.

I really liked RN4 and I've ordered one for myeself today. I've been sneaking here from past two weeks reading treads and stuff. My Redmi 2 got lineage 14 Officially but I'm still on cm13 Dec build just for the sake of xposed and its modules beacuse i'm too much dependant on them. I was surprised to see that not a single 6.x.x rom is available for mido and people not even talking about it. Is any dev is up for it? Just for the sake of xposed untill rovo89 releases it for 7.x. I would have tried myself but my internet is too slow to download sources and stuff and I dont get much time too. Thank you to all devs who are already using their precious time for development but I request you to build at least lineage 13 builds weekly etc for mido
