And from the Note 3 community:- Thread Link​I hereby, with assistance from @TheTAMAS & @harshal10398 present to you a simple mod for having your own desired S Pen-Avtar on Note 2
Instructions:
1. Copy your desired image in PNG format to your Internal storage and you should name it as unknown.png as normal pointer and unknown2.png as focus pointer and the recommended size is 60x60 pixels
2. Then flash the attached zip file in custom recovery & reboot!
UNINSTALL
Remove both png files from the Internal storage & flash the same zip in your custom recovery!

Note : If the file structure in your rom’s framework-res.apk is different then this mod will not work for your phone. if this mod did not worked for you just send me your framework-res.apk, and i will add support for your rom.

ROG is a sample theme For testing purpose you have to extract the two files Which is unknown.png and unknown2.png, and put them in the root of your internal sdcard. Then you have to flash the spen pointer zip in recovery. That's all. You can put any image as you like. But you have keep same file names, same format and same size.

Send me the framework apk or the supporting apk for stylus and I will check n add support for that. At the moment I don't think so.

didn't work for me...
or did I do something wrong?
I made 2 png files myself with same file names as you instructed (unknown.png and unknown2.png or do i have the filenames wrong?) with 60x60 dimension.
flashed using twrp, wiped dalvik and cache, and after reboot i still have the same spen pointer.
oh, my note 2 unit is n7105 and i'm using dn4 v2.2.
