Hello,
I bought Sony Xperia Z2, but with SIMlock. I don't know which carrier. When I put T-Mobile card into slot it shows info 'Invalid card. Emergency calls only.' How can I check what carrier is simlock? Or how can I unlock it? Fastboot mode is locked too and in serive menu 'Rooting status: unknown'
Sorry for my bad english.
PS: I repaired phone by PCC and flashed ROM via flashtoll.

Hello guys.. Firstly am a noob. i really need help. got question to ask from you guys. recently i try to install custom jelly bean to my x10.
Along way to do that i made a mistake. now my x10 lost radio capability.
it will ask for SIM NETWORK UNLOCK CODE each time i reboot.
theres a lot threads similar to my issue.yes i know. the different is my x10 bootloader is unlockable.
so i cant relock the bootloader like suggested from other threads. i've tried with SEtool. nothing to restore it says.
i think its happen becoz i try to unlock my bootloader TWICE while i didnt realize my bootloader is unlockable. well am a noob..
can anybody help me with this issue please?
With new XPERIA smartphones you are not able to use PC Companion(PCC) or Sony Ericcsson Update Service(SEUS) when the bootloader is unlocked to restore the official firmware.
However, the XPERIA X10i is able to restore the firmware via PCC or SEUS, whether the bootloader is locked or unlocked.
Have you tried following the instructions to restore the phone firmware using PCC or SEUS supplied by Sony Mobile with the phone attached to a PC?
[update]
You did check if the bootloader could be unlocked in the service menu first?

yeah i tried to restore the phone firmware using both PCC and SEUS.its not working. no new update for your phone/your phone is up to date.
even with repair the answer still the same.
service info - SIM lock :
[ ] Network 5
[ ] Network subset 5
[ ] Service provider 5
[ ] Corporate 5
[ ] SIM 0
And my location & security - lock SIM card is permanent "checked."
already disable it using SIM with pin. reboot, again it is checked.
any idea so i can fix this?
if you ask me how do i know whether my bootloader can be unlock or not i did check it with sony website.
also with setool after doing some research from here mostly.well after my x10 loss its radio capability of course.

Hello!
At the entrance I will add that I have a locked bootloader, and that I have "bootloader unlock alloved no".
Yesterday I've downloaded flash tool and it was there I began the whole story.
- I'm one Unlock the bootloader (via flash mode only), and so it's a total nothing could.
-I have flash the file simlock.ta with firmware T-mobile (simlock.ta i rename to "preset.ta" )
And now this happens:
Phone works normally, but after entering the pin code says that the code has been adopted, then the sim card is not known.
Of course, other phones working fine.
I'll tell you this: I am a developer but sim locks, and so is the case for mne strange thing.
I received from a friend that kind of partition TA was damaged hence this problem and I do not have a copy of the TA.
Any advice besides the service?

Hi,
In first, sorry for bad Eng! I have a Xperia from my friend. He wanted to install better ROM on his phone. As i read, bootloader in different mobile operators is permanently locked... That was on this phone from T-Mobile (im from Poland). But I took the directions on the website of Sony and took the unlock code. When I entered it, as they posted it in their site, I saw that BL is UNLOCKED.
And now I have a question: Can I brick phone if I will start to install ROM? Phone got root access, unlocked simlock (it was when I was unlocking bootloader), installed CWM...
Thanks a lot for any help!

You simply have an unlocked device... What could happen? My friend also has Xperia P from t-Mobile and I checked, he has no simlock or other restrictions. I guess, if you follow advices in the topics about flashing etc. your device won't get hurt.
mine Too
i have a xperia p LT22i
with bootloader unlock NOT ALLOWED
And No sim-lock
I asked Sony's suppport team to do something to make my phone Unlockable
Right now you can't do anything because the fastboot mode is not working
you can't flash a custom kernel
you can't unlock the boot loader
because the fastboot is disabled
like my F** Xperia P
