Hello everyone!
I was looking around in the LG G3 forum and I've seen a guide to root several Lg devices, including ours.
I am just bringing the guide to our forum, full credits go to @avicohh and his post.
Thanks to @Martiz for testing, and @DiabloSzczecin for pointing out this doesn't work on lollipop!
Devices confirmed working with this method (If your device isn't listed it's most likely still supported)
LG G3 (all variants)
LG G3 Beat
LG G2
LG G2 Mini
LG G Pro 2
LG G Pad
LG F60

Changelist:
LG One Click Root v1.3 - 13/04/15 (current)
A new version with a graphical user interface instead of a script.
Although the root process remains the same, it has been rewritten programmatically, so I hope it will solve problems on some devices.
LG One Click Root v1.2 - 23/03/15
Added instruction in the script to how enter download mode manually if needed.
LG One Click Root v1.1 - 22/03/15
Added support for Verizon users.
LG One Click Root v1.0 - 17/03/15
First version.
both didn't work on my D620R with latest Lollipop Firmware
This method isn't working on our lollipop. Only on KK. At this time only kingroot can root our phone with 5.0.2 (probably)

Hello everyone!
I decided to make an application on windows, based on a script to do root in some lg devices. The application has the root cause of functions and also enter adb shell. The root method is done by a script, but due to the GUI created by me, the process becomes simpler.

Great !
Will it void my warranty (I've go a g3 with lollipop). Sorry if i'm not so expert
You can always unroot, via the built in option in Supersu. Besides, why root if you're so concerned about the warranty?
Because I bought it 2 weeks ago. But I think I won't root it right now, it's not so necessary... I think I'll wait

Are all versions of android are compatible with it?
4.2, 4.4 and 5.0?
And the backup/restore fuction, that's a ROM backup/restore?
Let's say I've got a completely new LG G2 without any custom recovery installed, will it make a backup and restore from it?

Does it backup your ROM and do you need to have TWRP or CWM for it to work?
Thanks a lot for this! This is really great.

Hi everyone,
Attached is a modified version of Moto Actions that allows you to use the "Lift for Moto Voice" action, this will allow you to automatically open Moto Voice when you lift your phone to your ear.
Instructions
Download the modified MotoActions.apk to your phone
Open your system\priv-app\MotoActions folder and rename the original MotoActions.apk to MotoActions.apk.bak
Move the downloaded MotoActions.apk to the system\priv-app\MotoActions folder
Edit the permissions to be 0644 (rw-r---r---)
Reboot phone and then open Moto
Click the Stars, then Actions, then you should see "Lift for Moto Voice"
Enable it and click learn more (it's a fast move from your waist to your ear BTW)
Enjoy the new action previously only released for 2015 and Verizon Moto X phones
If you found this useful, please think about donating, as it will help me bring more cool features to our phone
_
I've added some detailed Instructions for those having trouble...
Thanx mate, it works pretty well.

Yes, you could also edit the play store version (2.00.13), but that would be more prone to changing, this version (2.00.14) is later than the play store version, so it wont be overwritten unless there is a 2.00.15
Is it only working with rooted stock ROM? Or with custom ROMs also...

Ah, thank you! I had saved this thread and it didn't even occur to me to search for a MM variation. I'll send my feedback on the other thread.
I have a Moto X 2014 rooted and running stock 5.1 Lollipop based rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-2014/development/img-xt1096-victara-mofo-image-root-t3100145.) Debloated too if that matters.
I followed your instructions. The only thing that seems different is my permissions for the MotoActions.apk is 644 (-rw-r--r--). Instead of 0644 (rw-r---r---). Not sure if that difference means anything.
Here are some screenshots of the apk and its permissions from within Solid Explorer.
Do you know what's going on? Can I try flashing via TWRP using your instructions from the Marshmallow post even though I'm running Lollipop?
dont working, please helpme... i try to install all versions of this apk but only appears 5 actions from factory...
Hello,

You can see it on the screenshot.
I have no root because i dont want to unlock my bootloader.

in order to permanent remove the message, go to root/cust folder and delete every file and folder from there (all content)
the message will disappear and wont ever come back after a reboot that is
please note that you need root permission for this so you either get the firmware rooted and use a file manage to delete content or delete it from TWRP file manage in recovery

I'm looking for exactly the same O2D KDZ as I did the same as OP and don't want to lose my guarantee by rooting.
Besides these annoying errors, 10b seems more stable than 10d.
How to find this KDZ on LG's servers?
Thanks!
I searched the web for a long time and tried some tools to find the v10b O2D Germany kdz but unfortunatly without success
I would be very happy if somebody could help us to find the kdz! :fingers-crossed:
Good news!
I just started LG Bridge and searched for an update. Got newest v10e from O2D automatically installed, everything is fine again, no need to root, wipe whatsoever!
