[Q] Best Folders Autosync App? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
After searching Google Play I noticed there are many different autosync apps. Thing is, I'm searching for an app that gives me the ability to select folders on my Android Phone to pair them with folders on my OneDrive account so that the app IMMEDIATELY syncs every new file that appears in those selected Android folders to their paired folders on OneDrive. Kind of like a backup to my OneDrive account of the folders that I select.
Anyone who knows a good app that satisfies these needs?

I use Gdrive Autosync. Perfect app!
But gdrive only.
The Dev has a Drop box version too.

I'm sorry but I'd really like to have an app with OneDrive feature since I have everything on there and don't want to have several clouds.

I gotta say I was happy when I saw the app in the Play Store. I downloaded it and found out that it has some important limitations for which I have to pay €6 to unlock them. I'm sorry for being so picky but is there any cheaper alternative?

[Workaround] Show only purchased apps in Google Play Store

Here is the file. Be sure to click on old market when you have it open, if you don't like it click on new market. Pretty straight forward. HOWEVER. It installed perfect for me but when I tried to get my apps up it would always time out. I think it is only because of my network though. So perhaps others should try it anyways.

The above posts both provide a workaround/partial solution. Here is my suggestion...
If you choose to try Old Market, when you launch it you can choose "old" or "new" market. It requires root permissions to work. After selecting which Market you would like, it will reboot the device and, once it is booted, the market you chose will be installed. Take note that I did in fact still see some free apps that weren't installed, but not all of them. Perhaps they were only the apps that were downloaded to this specific device/ROM.
That said, the "old" Market is indeed the very old V2 Market. I went back to "new" Market (V3), and it upgraded itself back to Google Play after a little while.
Unless you truly like the old interface of the Market, I'd recommend you go with CosmicDan's suggestion of logging in to Google Wallet and viewing your transaction history. This will give you a list of only the apps you have purchased. Unfortunately you can not install them to your device from there, but at least you can see only the apps you have purchased without seeing every app you have ever downloaded.

Is there a way to view only one's purchased apps in the new Play Store? The new interface for the My Apps section does not seem to have a way to do this like it used to, instead showing seemingly every app one has ever downloaded, with purchased apps mixed in (in no logical order).

Big time bump on this! They really do need to add a tab that shows purchased not just installed and history.
Just ran across this. Hope there is a fix in the works. Not being able to sort the apps is a major FAIL.
I let my son have my old droid and he went crazy downloading what looks like every free app offered....my mistake for not creating a junk gmail account. Now I have literally hundreds and hundreds of apps listed in my app section of the play store.
Bump, I would like to know also
It appears that even the app management section of the Google Play website doesn't have this capability. On the positive side, the site looks great! -_-
This is just wrong, when you've bought allot of apps and downloaded plenty of free apps.
There's got to be an easier way to see what you've bought and redownload!
Someone got a clue?

This is such a fkn annoying issue. BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The other thing is there should be a tab to multi select app installs so you aren't directed to the install screen and forced to start from the beginning of the main screen after you go back. If that is not an option at least add the ability to install "ALL" paid apps.
Why in the hell would we not get the option to see purchased apps only but we get the option to see "ALL" downloaded apps paid or unpaid. That's just fkn ridiculous
P.S. To anyone that is going to tell me to roll back or move previous apk versions to system/app or even use an app to do it for you and blah blah blah. I have tried everything.
The closest I got was using the apk I will attach for everyone here. Be sure to unzip it and move the file to your phone and use a file explorer to install it.

so I should be able to choose which market I want to use on the fly when I install this apk?
This has got to be one of google's biggest recent FAILS.
It's been like this for over a month now, and what seems like a very simple and basic fix hasn't even arrived yet. Do you all think they are even aware of this being an issue for us?

Not likely any time soon in my opinion. I'm quite positive that they knowingly made the decision to change (read remove) the list of only paid apps in the Play Store, in an effort to "improve" the app. Unfortunately.
.— Powered by Nexus —.
Another Google Fail just like the crappy resolution contact pictures that they refuse to fix. Thanks google for making have to make duplicate phone contacts and link everything. Also thank you for getting rid of showing only the paid apps.
Google has always been a piece of.. garbage, but as of late, they have just been, a piece of... junk..
Well, I do not think Google forgot to have that view. From their point of view it absolutely makes sense:
If you forget about an app you bought some day, you might end up buying another one, providing the same functionality later. And that is where they get money from, not you re-installing an already bought app.
It does not go too well with the "don't be evil" motto, but this was clearly a deliberate choice by Google.

The r2 works fine for me. I've put it to /system/app … I had to delete the app data to make it run again after a reboot, though.

What is this?

Does anybody know what this is?i always get it when i turn the internet connection on.

that does not look good. maybe you got yourself a virus there.
you should check your installed apps for suspicious / fake ones. also have a look at the app list in titanium backup, which will also show apps, that do not show up in the app drawer.
but in general, if i were you, i would fully wipe the device, including the internal and external sd card, flash your rom again and instead of restoring apps from a backup, let them re-install from the play store (only safe ones of course).
maybe someone that can read chinese can tell you the exact contents of that notification, but i am 97% sure that it is not something good and your personal data and privacy might be at stake.
you havent at any time installed hotmail app of google play have you??
I had similar thing happen, in chinese, and after debugging the system i narrowed it down to the hotmail app, i was getting like 40 or 50 empty mssge boxes a day, once i uninstalled it, it stopped.
From the screenshot, that is advertisement in Chinese language.
I would recommended you to recall the last application that you have install to the phone, remove it and see did it help?
At the same time, both applicationa that can be found in Google Play may help to prevent similar issue happened in future. ^^

Good thing you've solved the problem.
I assume you were receiving Airpush ads; and to prevent this happening in the future, and also for others who come across these, I recommend Addons Detector from the Play Market. It finds the culprit app.

What apps (htc, tmobile, etc) are safe to disable on phone?

You can easily disable all of the "T-Mobile" apps: T-Mobile My Account, T-Mobile Name ID, T-Mobile TV
I've also disabled TalkBack, Rescue, Polaris Office, News & Weather, Lookout Security,Kid Mode, Hangouts, Google Play Music, Google Play Movies & TV, Google Play Magazines.
As far as the HTC applications, I haven't began to disable any of them yet...
Thanks for your post, I was able to disable some more apps

I don't see, "or uninstalled" anywhere here.
So whats wrong with Google Music?
Do semantics really matter? And does it really matter whether or not I said it in my original post or if I clarified in my next post that it was either disabled OR "uninstalled"? The point is these apps that I mentioned are no longer present blaring in my face whenever I access my phone.
What's wrong with Google Music? Nothing -- if you want to use it. Me, personally? Google Music is a subscription-based service and it is something that, to me, is not worth it's value monthly.

Google play music backup

Hello there!
I wanted to reset my Lg G4 but the problem last time was that it did not save my downloaded Google Play Music.
I used the integrated google backup to restore the phone and i thought it would also backup the app settings.
But it did not so i lost all the music which i downloaded.
Is there a possibilty or app to do this?
Thank you very much for your help in advance.
Greetings

There is an app called titanium backup but it requires root. It backups every part of the app you select, in fact, some people use it for piracy.

How to install app no longer on Play Store?

I have been using a password manager program called Safe+ for years. I like the app because it has no access to internet, and I just manually export the data file and import when switching phones. Today I was switching from my old Note to the S22 Ultra, long story short, the app is no longer on the Play Store. I have years worth of data. I really don't want to go down the road of manually switching to another password manager.
Is there any way to manually move the app from my old phone to my s22 ultra? Or, is there a site that has old copies of android apps that might have this app on there? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm stuck in limbo right now. Thanks!

The only thing I can find on Google is a Safe+ app for iPhone & iOS. Same thing for alternate app stores.
Edit: I found this app extractor article if it helps. It's available on the Playstore.

Thank you for showing me this article! I was lucky enough, that after using smart switch, the app appeared on my new phone ( it took a while for apps to actually make their way to my phone, I had a lot of apps that were downloading in background ) -- So odd that it was moved ( which means it was downloaded from the playstore but for some reason, I can't find it on the play store). I am at a loss for words. But this gives me a back up plan. Now I can save the APK file to SD card as an emergency backup option. Guess now is the time to start searching for another password manager. This is going to be a painful migration. LOL

Glad to help. Personally, I use LastPass to manage my passwords. I even pay for it because I want to support them. It has it's problems, like every password manager, but overall it's a good choice.
Edit: The suggested app in that article is, itself, no longer in the appstore. A free, no-ads alternative is here.
