I have set my phone to always ask which sim to use while sending SMS or Call. The stock message app behaves correctly and asks everytime. However, GO SMS Pro simply uses sim 1 to send message.
for me too.
I`m usingLenovo IdeatabA3000 dual sim but Go SMS pro can not recognize which sim to use.
in Android 4.2.2 there is SIM management and we can define which sim for default but in Android Default Messaging App there is an option show which SIM to use if we define always ask option ticked in SIM management mentioned.
also default Android 4.2.2 Messaging app show an icon and name of the SIM used to send or receive SMS.
I need those option available for Go SMS Pro too.
please go SMS developers team released new version support Dual SIM devices as you asked users report after installing Go SMS pro.
I need it for LenovoIdeaTab A3000-H dual SIM.
for my Xperia M Dual, too
please full support all dual sim phones.
I wrote my request here.because Go SMS topic wasn't updated recently.
I just ordered the watch. Have some queries.
1. I will be using a separate sim (Another carrier) than my phone. If my phone is connected to the watch, can i send messages via Watch but by typing on phone keyboard (or an app)?
2. Is there Whatsapp or will it come?
3. Can i use any bluetooth headset to connect to watch to make calls? Is simultaneous BT connection possible to phone?
4. Can i pair with my LG G2? Can it run the Gear Manager in LG G2?
There is an option to use either the Gear S' number or the phone's number, but you probably need a Call Forwarding service from your carrier(s) enabled for this.

You're not supposed to need to do anything. Are you using a Samsung phone with Gear Manager installed? Or are you using a non Samsung phone ...
Also are you connected to the phone using Bluetooth?

Hm, I'm not sure of what's going on. So when you are connected to the Samsung phone with Bluetooth, and you try to send a text message with your Gear S, it says that there is an error on the watch and won't send the SMS?

I mean what phone company is the Gear S Nano SIM from? Is it the same as the one who provides your phone service?
I'm trying to figure out where you are. Here in the US, the Gear S is available on our four major carriers, with separate versions for each.

As I'm living in Holland we have other mobile networks as in the states.
For my gear i'm on KPN and my mobile i'm on t-mobile.
I do have a dual sim but I don't want to use it, to confusing which mobile divice is the master etc.
I have a gear s tmobile. Up until this past week I've been able to use the gear to initiate texts and all of the sudden this function has stopped. When I go into messages, compose and try to send a message I get this phone icon with a half circle in front of it as opposed to the arrow like it's loading or sending but it doesnt move or change and the texts don't send. When i turn off bluetooth and try to use mobile network or wifi i get the red square icon with the exclamation point. I cannot use s voice to initiate texts either though other s voice functions - ie call bill - works fine.
I can reply to texts as they come in all day. I suddenly just cannot start them on my gear. I have tweaked every option i could think of, rebooted, reset the watch, tried to switch from primary textra to primary Samsung messages, removed the sim card and so far nothing. Something wrong with my sim card or what?
***update*** it was the sim card. Not sure why texting worked at first then didn't but I had to log in and input the # on the sim card and reboot.
i dont have a sim. im using bluetoth with the same problems any help?
I know for me, I can't have airplane mode on and send messages. I can still receive them with it on though.
*with bt connected

Thank you for the update. I am having the same issue except it affects calling only - I can not make any phone calls, and I can not receive any phone calls - I can text and use my data though like normal, but I can not make any phone calls nor can I receive any phone calls. You mentioned that you had to "log in" and "input the # on sim", and "reboot" -- would you please elaborate where you have to go to "log in" like on the: T-Mobile Website? Samsung Website? where do you "log in"?

Hey yes on T-Mobile website. My T-Mobile.. I forget the exact links but you click into your device and go from there.. Pretty sure there's a number on the sim and you input that and reboot. I called T-Mobile and they were pretty helpful if you get stuck.

Ok, I went on to the T-Mobile website, then created an account for my T-Mobile Samsung Gear S phone number under "My T-Mobile". However, when I log in to "My T-Mobile" I do not see anywhere listed a place where I can input the number on my SIM card. I tried looking under the submenus of: Billing, Usage, Plan, Phone, and Shop, but was not able to find the place where I could input the number on my SIM card -- where do I find the place to input the number on my SIM card?

Yes, you can receive and also I believe make phone calls with the Gear S without it having a SIM car as long as it is connected via bluetooth to your phone. It will use your phone's number and cellular connection.
The advantage of having a SIM car in your Gear S is that is gets its own phone number and cellular connection. This means that you can leave your phone at home or whatever and use your Gear S for phone calls, GPS, texting, web surfing with the Opera Mini browser. You can also have phone calls forwarded from your smartphones phone number to your Gear S phone number when the bluetooth connection is lost, but that means that your smartphone will ring, than instead of going to voicemail like normal, it will ring on your Gear S, than you can answer it there or after that it will go to voicemail.
Thanks for informations
Yes, you can both answer and make calls from your synced cell phone on the Gear S. I have a data only SIM in my Gear S and it still makes calls through my phone by default. Note: I and using it with a Lumia 1520, so that's about all it does with my phone.
