I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a cyanogenmod rom that worked with this phone. Thank you.
UNLOCKING raven H892L
ME too. How can I root or unlock this phone.? Help please.
Try Kingo Root
do a google search for Kingo Root.
Its the only one I could find that worked but i still have a few issues.
Cant update or install recovery.
Cant gain Root for some apps.
Cant update SU.
Cand update Busy Box.
But one caveat is that i Rooted mine using Kingo around mid 2015.
There have been several updates to Kingo since then and while none have fixed my problem it may be able to do yours without error.
Make sure you use "Kingo" and not "king" or some other similar name as there are several and it can be confusing.

Hi folks,
Ive been having a strange problem with a couple Galaxy Mega I9200. I have rooted both before without any problems using KINGO originally. The i decided to update both of them with version UBUCNA2. When i tried to re root them back, even though the process have run fine a couple times the phone is not rooting. At this point i dont know what else to do to try to root those phones. I have tried every single method around this forum i think not just KINGO this time. And have not been able to reach root the way it should. Titanium backup shows not able to aquire root priviledges, and other root apps also. Can someone please help me on this?? Keep in mind im not a newbie so dont give me the recovery method advice without something new or to use KINGO because ive have done that already. Thanks a lot guys
You upgraded your phones to the latest knox enabled firmware which has the knox bootloader. You cannot go back to an older firmware or flash a custom rom now.
To root, try the directions provided in this thread and use the melius3gxx files instead of meliusltexx.

Ok thanks, the phones already had the knox apk so my guess was that it was going to be the same thing. Thanks for clarifying that one. And thanks for the advice.
Thanks again, turns out the only thing that is failling root access is when i try to unlock the phone via box. For some reason when its checking for SU access it fails. But thanks anyway i managed to solve the Root problem.
root.
I rooted through Phill touch Recovery.
First let me say thank you to all of the developers on here who work so hard to help everyone, and give us resources to get the most out of our devices. I've been lurking on this forum for a while, and it's enabled me to root my last two Kindles, and two smartphones over the last couple of years.
I had to finally register because I need some help with my Kindle Fire HDX 8.9". Like many recently, I was able to root my device with towelroot, I installed rootchecker (which confirmed root) and SuperSU, as well as the Google Play Store. So all was great, but when I went to run the toolkit so I could block OTA updates that's where I couldn't succeed. Whenever I tried to disable updates or check root status it just kept giving errors and saying device not found, and asking me to please allow root to my device.
I made sure ADB was enabled, but I still couldn't get the toolkit to do anything. So, I lost root today because of the latest kindle update. What am I doing wrong that's not allowing the toolkit to disable updates?
i faced same issue of device not found while using toolkit
here follow this

Try rerooting
Try rerooting your device with the tool and then try again to disable updates. This might work. What version are you on now?

Kingroot is also failed plz help guyz
What did KingRoot say? Did you try more than once? Sometimes it's glitchy like that.
I use 10 more than
Come again? I did three and got root access.
Any other methods for rooting work for every models
There's always the difficult ADB way. Have you tried that method?
No I can't know??
Huh?
Kingroot is **** tokbe honest. If you cant root it the manual way just search a video on youtube how to root it or even on here. Alot safe. Kingroot takes all your personnal informations and do wathever the heck they want with it. If you are okay with that fine but id rather take 20 mins to root it the hard way and be sure everything is well done

hi,
I have a lenovo A616 and I made every attempt to improve it.
I saw that on the web there is a modified ROM (downgrade the version than the current one) who claims to be the original rooted, but I trusted ...
I tried all apps available on all markets, including Russians, Koreans and Chinese (kingroot, king root, root master, etc etc), unable to unlock the permissions.
Today I tried using the pc software called iRoot, latest version (iRoot_1.8.7.20375_cid1005_7337ba1e.exe), and incredibly after 10 minutes of agony appeared the verdict: The phone is rooted !!!
This software has also installed other software useless, I quickly uninstalled it.
After the first restart the phone still appeared not rooted, but after opening the superuser apk and updated, again I restarted the phone and it was really rooted.
I hope I have helped you

I have tried to root using iRoot, but with no success.
Is it necessary to unlock the boot-loader on the A616 before using iRoot?
And if so, how do I do that? There seems to be little or no information online about this model.

I got Coolpad Torino S and was wondering if there's any way to get the root access. It's possibly named differently outside of Europe, model is Coolpad E561. Here's link to GSMArena http://www.gsmarena.com/coolpad_torino_s-7898.php
I have already tried KingRoot, but it was without any success.

Hi, i have the same coolpad and i´ve tried all Root tools but no success.
Maybe our smartphone is not public enough, no developers to get root / CWM or ROMs
We have to wait....
What Build did you have? I have updated yesterday to V30.

Yeah, I'm on the same V30 build, got the update a couple days ago. As you're the only other person I've ever seen to own this phone, I got to ask you - do you ever get issues with GPS? For me sometimes the GPS simply dies (can't see/find any satellites) and the only way to fix it is to force stop Play Store (found out by accident). Pretty sure it's a software issue, but not sure if it's only for me or for everyone.
any news about rooting coolpad torino s?
I did try various King Root versions, but none of them worked. Other one-click root apps seemed way too shady to install on the phone. Sadly I think there won't be any way to root this phone considering how unpopular it is.
I even contacted Coolpad EU customer service about root possibilities (I know some Chinese manufacturers allow root access), but after a quick response they completely stopped responding. Quite unprofessional from them, next time I will steer clear from Coolpad brand.

Just a quick update. Today I managed to get a root access with the latest Kingoroot app on a first try.
Initially I just wanted to remove bloatware like Zumei weather, Facebook, Touchpal and unroot because Kingoroot seemed quite shady, for some reason it connected to internet from time to time and phone seemed to work slower than it should.
BUT by sheer luck I managed to replace Kingo SuperUser with SuperSU. Basically what I did:
1. Root with Kingoroot and reboot;
2. Install SuperSU from Play store;
3. Remove Kingo SuperUser (it was installed when rooting with Kingoroot) and reboot;
4. Run SuperSU and update binaries -> normal;
5. It didn't work the first time, it was stuck on "Installing, please wait..." so I rebooted my phone and repeated 4th step;
6. This time it updated just fine, I removed Kingoroot, rebooted and had a root access.

Hi, thanks for this thread, but I do not work with the Kingroot, is it possible that some other program has come out, or do you know if there is anything else to root the Coolpad Torino S E561_EU?
Sorry for my English
Thanks in advance

Sorry, I've been away from XDA for some really long time. I used KingOroot not Kingroot. Also I forgot to mention, but you need to enable Developer Options and enable OEM unlocking there.
Though it's been some time since I last tried rooting, maybe Kingroot works now too.
