I can't boot into recovery mode. When I am in fastboot and try to go to recovery, my phone just reboots itself and the same thing happens if I go in to ROM manager and go into clockwork recovery. Any help?
Can't Boot into Recovery?
I had this same problem a few weeks ago. When I rooted my evo 3d I started out with the Revolutionary recovery. I tried to change it to ClockW but I didn't work and then i couldn't go back to the revolutionary recovery. My solution was to install the TWRP recovery. Its better then any other recovery I used by far. And is easy to install. There are two ways to install it:

Check your settings and make sure fastboot is disabled. Then try to boot into recovery. If that fails just post back.

Did you flash a custom recovery early on ? What version are u using ? What hboot too?
Like the one guy said make sure fastboot is off.
After foolishly flashing cwm with goomanager,I managed to remove my recovery mode. Booting to recovery makes the phone go into odin mode and say unable to boot. Can I flash the custom recovery or do I have to flash a stock image?

Just use the aio root and recovery tool from your PC...first use prep for recovery option then install the custom cwm or twrp versions from there...after that you can flash a newer version from there...make sure you download loki'd versions only...this is assuming you are still mkd...if not you are lucky not to have bricked your s4
All stock how do you access recovery mode?
Not, Sony stock doesn't include a recovery mode.
I have the default recovery and it is not rooted and I can enter the fastboot I am thinking if I try to install the TWRP recovery I do not know if it is good ideal
Hi guys
I have a SGP611 which I managed to unlock the bootloader at. Now I am tryint to get TWRP or some other recovery mode installed but no success. (Flashing img to FOTA-Kernel or recovery partition, nothing happens after reboot)
So now I want to reflash Stock ROM with Flashtool using Flash Mode. The problem is, that the Flash mode (volume down+cable in) does not work either. I can go into fastboot mode and boot normally, but thats it.
Anyone have any advice?
Thanks
