I just installed Ubuntu Touch via latest multirom manager.
Al seems to work ok. Only thing that is not so nice is the screen is in landscape mode. Screenrotation is unlocked. I would like to get it in portait mode...

My dell streak screen stucks in landscape mode...its only a month I buy it...pliz help I tick the automatic screen rotating option it doesnt work...
We need more information. What ROM are you running? What launcher are you using? Is everything stuck in landscape or just your home screens?
When i got my S3 the home screen is always at portrait mode even if the screen rotation is on and i turn the phone sideways. But after 2 firmware updates I'm now on XXBLFB the phone suddenly can go to landscape mode. My problem is it is now stuck on landscape mode even if the phone is already vertical.. Any one has the same issue? Need your help on this.. thanks

Hi. Have you tried going to Settings> Display and scroll to the bottom page, then select Gyroscope calibration? Most probably it will fix your issue after you calibrate it
Either calibration, but also the launcher(not tw launcher,i think) has this option to set screen rotation.
Look in launcher settings
From all I've read on the web it's possible to fix with a software patch.
Tried CM 10.1, works great but touch is still inverted.
Tried HairyBean(Has invert touch feature during install), rom works for about 20 seconds before restarting the device.
So my only option right now it somehow get the Invert Touch feature into CM10.1, any ideas where should I look?
Thank you in advance.
I have a touch screen display (Hanns g 21.5) and multi touch is working great with an old ish android to box running 5.1. But on first boot it is only recognised as standard mouse and I have to unplug the USB cable from the box and replug to get the multi touch working.
Does anyone know a way to work around this other than getting a physical USB on off switch ?
Any help would be be awesome.
I have a Nuvision Encite Split 11 and have Android x86 Oreo installed on it. Everything works except for 2 things:
The touchscreen isn't working properly
The horizontal rotation is flipped (Which I've temporarily solved by downloading a rotation control app)
So, my main issue is the touch screen, which I believe is a Silead GSL1680. On the surface, it seems that the touch screen isn't working at all, but after testing, it seems the touch screen is in fact working, it's just completely miscalibrated, which I'm assuming is due to an incorrect driver (possibly touch screen size? This is the only explanation I have right now, as I've made multiple attempts at trying to replace the silead_ts.fw file and the results slightly changed). I've read that I'd need to edit the kernel to change the touch screen driver to better fit my device, but honestly, I don't know where to begin and was just looking for the guidance.
