Hey guys today m going to give you a tasker based fix for yu yureka's overheating problem while it is put in pressure if workload that too with fewer heating than usual in our phone + there is also a power saving mode + there is also a heat protection system which closes down 6 cores and reduces frequency when ur CPU crosses 72"
So here u get
1. Overheating fix
2.overheating protection system
3 CPU power save.
•What u need :-
1.root +busybox
2tasker(link below)(download apk from any where else)
3.power toggles(link below)
4.tbp(full version)
5.secure settings(download from play store)
•Requirments:-
1.any kernel that supports thunderplug (by varun.chitre) (thunderzap most preferred kernel)
•Procedure for installing mod
1.root the phone install busybox and install tbp
2. Download two tbp backup from the links
3.click on those downloaded files a popup will appear click "app+data" (for tasker press "data only" button) and open tasker and power toggles
4.install secure settings frm playstore
U r done
•What u get in this mod(detailed)
1.u get 3 mode of CPU on single click I.e default performance and powersave
Default = 4cores on + full freq range(200 MHz - 1.7ghz or 1.6) + GPU at "simple-ondemand"
Performance = 8 cores with full frq range +GPU similar as before case
Powersave = 2cores with 200mhz - 1.1 freq range + GPU at powersave at 220mhz max
2. Less heating in most of high loads;
3.Overheat protection (in case CPU gets hotter than 70°C only 2cores with 800mhz max will run) (this may cause some big lag but will protect ur device in case there is accidental heat)
3.a direct toggle for developer options so in case u need to limit BG process in powersave mode
•How to use this mod:-
U can activate the aforementioned modes by powertoggles which will b there in ur notification , just click and mode u clicked will b activated
Which icon stands for what mode given in screen shot herein attached in post

I 've a rooted (SuperSu) XMP stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 build .84, with the Project Fluid build.prop tweaks and Init.d scripts.
I 've configured SetCPU to make the processor run at 368MHz, and made two profiles: One to run at 122MHz when the screen is off and another one to run at 1024MHz while playing GTA III, GTA Vice City and Dead Trigger.
The problem is the processor runs at 368MHz all the time, profiles aren't working (I know they aren't because the games run slow). What can i do to solve the problem?
I dint got actually what you are talking about. ?
I ever had any issues overclocking & underclocking my phone.,
Try selecting the governor - ondemand
IO scheduler - sio
Apply on boot tick it. :good:
Hit thanks if i helped
This is the problem: Processor speed doesn't change to 1024MHz when I start GTA Vice City, and it should, because I've made a profile to change processor speed to that value when I start GTA.
Thank you for trying to help anyways.
Edit: Here are some images of my SetCPU configuration.

Delete all the profiles and set the speed as per my 1st post hope it will work now , you have unlocked your bootloader yes..??

Hi, i have some questions...
1) Some days ago i tried to make a Nandroid Backup by CWM touch ver. 6.0.x.x but i got the message that the systen can't mount the image on Sd.
Then i couldn't boot my phone because the system was blocked on Samsung logo screen!
I was forced to make a full wipe and i installed the apps again...
2) I have my S3 in signature and i applied a pegasusq governor with row scheduler. I tested by Quadrant app and i left this configuration.
But using Antutu benchmark app i have discovered these results:

}
Why have i these bad results compared to standard S3 that Antutu has into its archive?
3) How can i increase the touchscreen sensibility?
Thank you for your attention..

2) my firmware is an original international stock ver. 4.1.2 and the configuration you can find in my signature.
I setted max freq cpu at 1800Mhz and governor and scheduler are as said in my precedent post.
What can i modify to obtain better performance results?
Update: my bad result was caused by energy save enabled!
I didn't know that the energy save takes this bad result!!!
Now, after to have excluded cpu limit (max cpu freq is 1800Mhz) on energy save configuration i have over 17000 value on Quadrant Benchmark.
Further since few days ago i undervolted each step freq of 37,5mV and making a stability test by Antutu my smartphone has been restarted without finishing the test.
Only at 12,5mV reduction by default for each freq i can finish the test but i have this result:
Di you know how can i set much better to save power and stability?
Thank you!!

ART work
Removed unused tiles in system panel and items in the settings, smartstay, motions and gesture, pattern shortcut and others, because these functions are not supported in the kernel, or are not needed (I find them uncomfortable and I do not understand why we need air gestures, etc.)
Removed Float panel, added call recents apps menu by the long press on the HOME button.
Fuly working proximity sensor
Showing real information about Ram and storages memory
Working Led (but there's a bug with disabling notifications low battery in Settings. If I can find a reason, it is repaired)
No needs repartition
Some modifications SystemUI

How To Install:
1. goto in recovery
2. wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache
3. Install ROM
NOTE:
Kernel with GPU OC 476 Mhz (working not to all). If you have not overclocked the GPU, You can change it to a standard frequency of the GPU in the script kernel_settings in systems/etc/init.d (open in RootExplorer kernel_settings in a text editor)
In kernel included intelli_plug, sweep2wake/Sweep2Sleep, doubletap2wake
To enable/disable functions used script kernel_settings in systems/etc/init.d
This script will save the settings after a reboot, no need to use third-party programs
Kernel have min CPU freq 260 Mhz (If you have problems with the kernel at this frequency, you can flash the kernel with the default CPU frequencies LINK Mega)

neither I nor the forum we do for the partial and total damage of equipment
Information:
files provided you has been tested for more than 14 days some moderate use in achieving the not so normal temperature but moderate
Requirements:
Unlocked Bootloader
Root (SuperSU)
Root Explorer
Compilation: 26.1.A.3.111
Instructions:
- move the files to the path: /system/etc
- 0644 root permissions apply to files
- reset terminal
- download application Kernel Toolkit
- apply the following values
- and ready to enjoy
- They should use it without 3G data for 24hrs and 24hrs moderately during use as enough recommendation xperia overheating M4 be reduced
Faq:
I can try some other compilation: yes
you need to open bootloader to test the mod: only been tested with open bootloader and probably to do with the root closed bootloader is lost so you have to test
Files in folder Profiles i should replace too?
Yes
Ok, thanks
Thanks
I think Change In temp a little
Here is a mod, just the post script for system / etc.
It applies all changes for our device, so you won't need an app to change cpu frequencies on boot.
The settings are a little bit different, this version works without a wakelock, better battery life and no random reboots (used it one day)
http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5762cb99e306f/update1.zip
Instructions : install version from first thread (you need the profiles files) but the attached script.
If the device overheats it goes down to 400 MHz, and after cooling to minimum of 960, my settings say minimum 533 so overheat protection wins... But only the minimum value of big core, so this solution is acceptable.
In this topic, I will teach you to improve battery life and performance of your device
