Disclaimer
This ROM is constantly under development, and the file(s) provided are a snapshot at a particular point in time. There are no guarantees that they will work. On the other hand, it's quite possible that the file(s) here may make your phone explode, make your boy/girlfriend leave for another country, cause you immense financial loss or other horrible things. The CyanogenMod team and I are not responsible for any of it.
Reporting Bugs
This thread is for development discussion of this ROM only. Please use the thread in Q&A to ask questions about the ROM. If you have encountered a bug, please try to reproduce it with a CLEAN FLASH without any other apps/data (unless specifically needed to reproduce the bug).
Valid bug reports will contain the items below as a minimum:
Steps to reproduce error
Phone firmware (Baseband) - (i.e. NK2, OB7) - You can find this by going to Settings->About phone and looking for Baseband version
Version of CyanogenMod (i.e. 2015XXXX-NIGHTLY)
Filename / version of gapps used if the issue may be related to gapps
Logcat - CatLog is a good Android app to save logs with. You can attach to your XDA post if you desire.
Installation Instructions
Use TWRP!
Do a nandroid! What happens when the ROM doesn't work??
Factory Reset if this is your first flash of CyanogenMod 12.1! (Wipe Cache/Dalvik/Data)
Install the latest nightly ROM ZIP file!
Install your favorite gapps (TK Lollipop Gapps / Slim Lollipop Gapps)
What Works / Doesn't
Working: Mobile Data
Working: WiFi
Working: Bluetooth (Phone)
Working: GPS - Some users may experience non-functional GPS. I suggest flashing back to TouchWiz and acquiring a GPS lock with GPS Status & Toolbox. Once that happens, go right back to recovery and reflash CyanogenMod.
Working: Camera
Not Working: Any (currently unknown) bugs affecting mainline CyanogenMod.
Not Tested: Anything not mentioned above.

Probably not...but to get GPS can I flash a backup of TW rom w/GPS and then the backup of CM12.1 or have to be dirty flash?

So far good for me. I use Google voice so I don't know about mms/SMS issues. GPS on 3g works real well, but on LTE it takes a while to get a lock.

I updated to 7/10 yesterday
The camera force closes on me all the time...specially when using Instagram or focusing it on something too long...
But everything else is great
And to get GPS and SMS/MMS to work properly you have to fix it the way I said in my post on top of page 2...it works great...fix the APN first then fix the Sprint EHRPD internet AND Sprint LTE internet then do the *#*#4636#*#* thing and reboot and it should work
The "Global" option keeps disappointing from the list of preferred network types.
Sent from my SM-N910P using XDA Free mobile app
Do a fresh install and don't touch it because it'll go away again
D_Smuv_'s fix worked for me. GPS is getting a quick lock. It's weird though. GPS essentials and GPS status show 0/0 satellites but get locks.
Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
Is it just going in and toggling the settings? I tried that but no go for me. Also could find the screen that shows in the screenshot above. It's been a long weekend.....

for 4.4 its advisable to use cwm recovery (6.0.4.x or higher) instead of twrp, most of the issues seem to occur when using twrp.

I tried flashing it using TWRP 2.5.0.0 and it failed. Then after flashing CWMR 6.4.0.1, everything went ok. Data, WiFi, camera and pretty much everything else is working ok. I came from SlimBean 4.3 Stable without even doing a full wipe and only the usual dalvik/cashe wipe.

Just flashed and noticed:
- Did not detect sim card (tried restoring efs partition, still did not detect), Wifi working fine.
-Baseband unknown
-Occasional Micro stutters
-Battery not so good
that's about it ahaha
But overall it's quite a good miui v6 rom, it's the only miui v6 rom for note 2. Would require some more fixes to make it a more stable rom.
I wouldn't personally use it as a daily driver, for now
Wow Miui. Haven't used this Rom in ages. Glad it's back from the dead-lol. Looks promising once the kinks are worked out.
Cheers
Can confirm no Sim. It appears that the script flashes N7100 when I choose N7105. Using TWRP latest.
It's a pretty UI though. Will revisit when kinks worked out.
Edit: flashed on t0ltetmo.
First 30 minutes with this ROM:
No SIM Card, fixed by installing modem and resetting APN
No 4G or LTE
Bluetooth Share FC message with Bluetooth switched off
Several freezes
AGNI CM11 kernel is compatible, but didn't fix any of the problems.
ROM Design is cool, but functionality isn't stable.
I will definitely keep an eye on this ROM.
Good job. Thanks for your effort.

I could not get it to find sim. Changed to three different modems. Besides service it looks pretty nice. My complaint has to do with built-in superuser. You have to have app request superuser then go into permissions-root permission then enable root access for the app.

I did flash I317UCAMH3 modem on my At&t Note 2, then boot to system, go to APN (list was empty but after 1 sec it showed all At&t APN's), select proper APN.
Hope that will help you to get cell working.
Superuser is strange but not a deal breaker, i was more disappointed with phone freezing and no 4G / LTE.
UI looks amazing, i'll be waiting for the stable release for sure.

Had a chance to fool around with it. It's pretty smooth. The baseband is fixed, it connected to my network no problem (i'm on Koodo in Toronto 1317m) I'm gonna have to uninstall some of the bloatware. as these apps are in Chinese-this includes the browser. Is there a special Gapps we need to flash? Oh I also had to flash supersu. I keep getting a popup about bluetooth.

Everything is OK but some issues.
Everything is nice and buttery, just some things I've noticed:
1. WiFi keeps disconnecting when connected to a 5 GHZ open network that requires you to sign in. Is there anyway to help fix that (is there a WiFi log or something?)
2. Data is a little wonky. It takes some time for it to connect to data and switch between LTE and 3G. Sprint Spark works though.
3. Bluetooth range lower than stock I noticed.
Thanks for your hard work. I been wanting to run PA ever since that PA post for kikat was halted.
WOOT
Thanks for this. Everything is buttery smooth, data does act wonky when going from LTE to 3g as stated. Also I tried to get ambient display to work and no combination of settings seems to work. All in all sweet rom. Thanks again

Take a look at the downloads tab of the project. There is a build available.

You may want to put the download link in the OP so that those using one of the XDA apps can access it easier as there is no download tab in the app.

Yes, calls and text messages seem to work fine, mms as well. I don't have data on the sim I'm using so can't test that. I noticed the last lineage build by ReimuHakurei had sim unlocked it for messages at least but calls wouldnt work. Im assuming calls didnt work because sound didnt work on that build. I had flashed the stock firmware from the unlocked version onto my boost version hoping it would unlock it but it didnt. So far this build everything is working really well

Good to hear. Owens is a great device, I'm glad you now have some stable trees to continue development with. As a matter of fact, I'm in the process of porting another ROM for this here.

What rom?
Only thing not working for me is videos so far. YouTube will work on the website but not the app. Snapchat videos also aren't playing for me. Sound works but no video. Anyone else having this issue?

Thank you for reporting this, I'm looking into it now.
edit:
Seems to be a build.prop issue, I'm fixing it now.
Have no data on boost

Have you fixed this? And can we fix it without reflashing the ROM ourselves?

Yes, though I'm packing another ROM with it now.
Flash the attached zip to fix it without downloading the new ROM I'm about to upload.

Got that. Just asking a quick check, are you able to edit APN Preference? if so, check whether APN is available.
It would just my silly error, not including APN Lists

I'm on Verizon and the apn for Verizon is there it "acts,"like data works even shows Verizon as carrier, but does not connect,I tried also flashing with 9.0 gapps but pixel set up fails on start up with out flashing any gapps it does boot good,at this point it's not usable

If you don't mind me asking what vendor are you using. Because the ims.apk needed some work to get signal and data going.

I was using your vendor. With latest IMS commit. (595928f44e662cdd10234deec8dbfcb640e39052)
Yeah, Obviously you are correct. I just have no-way to know about telephony issue, so I wanted to retrieve all data from user if possible
Sometimes in my country(Republic of Korea) missing APN causes issue about connecting network(LTE though) OR MMS server.
Do you have that issue with your builds as well?
Had a build with camera working, ril okay, SMS and call flawless,no freeze, not reboot , LTE working fine. But I deleted it , waiting for an official stable version, and... Also it was just a test, I don't wanna upset the dev who built that, sorry?.
But anyways the commits where from Camcory.
Quite surprised you have these amount of bugs.
I just had pixel setup crashing and camera not working on WhatsApp (and when not working on WhatsApp, all the other apps won't use camera.)
Video playback just never worked. But sound work fine.
The ROM was personally very nice. I provided a list of bugs to the dev concerned, hope he's not upset , I just want help.
My advice is, you might try comparing with Camcory's commit or build from he's, if he allows.
Then test.
I wish you good luck. I'm just here to test?.

I'll test this one tonight and provide feedback.
I just need to know, will it work on my force encrypted phone?
Or I need to unencrypt it?

Yes, it's good, smooth, no reboots, camera working good, not working to me is mobile data and video playback is working only on browser.
Im testing a rom, where just about everything works, keep in mind, just as Oreo dropped Shamu, wasn't supposed to get anything past nougat, so stuff isn't going to work, what I'm running, 98% of everything is working....and just like Oreo gapps need to be included with the rom.....be patient people it's coming......

Your referring to nephilim or six aren't you? :victory: Purely speculation right there haha either way, I'm glad pie is coming, I have no problem waiting for something stable, will just be more exciting to me when I DO get it.
