hi friends,
can someone give me the .apk of the stock Gingerbread e-mail app?
I don't like the new ICS version and really loved the dark theme of the previous version...
thx!

here you are, sir
Thx a lot!
Unfortunately it was not as straightforward as I had thought. I replaced the ICS apk with the "old" one, and I can open the app, but when I want to open an email, it crashes...
Any clues?

no pinch to zoom in the new one
Unfortunately it keeps crashing.
So is that due to not being ICS-compatible or do I have to adjust something?
I really miss that app. I love the look and also the unified inbox where you can refresh all accounts at the same time!

It is not compatible with ICS, I believe, because it keeps crashing too - in my experience... I went back to ICS version...
Anyway, is there a widget for the stock email app?

Go into settings, applications, all applications find email then uninstall updates. This will revert it back to the stock ICD.
I'm missing the recommend for you section in the play store app. It's been missing since yesterday on my Xperia s but it's still there on my sola.
Did my s get an play store update that removed it?
Is there any way to access it again?

Sent from my OC ed mind.!
Xperia Z1 has big fullhd display. Do I really have to use some ****ty mobile version of Chrome on it? Is there any way to make it like on tablet? So it would have full tab support and wouldn't even think about displaying a site in mobile version?

The speakers on the phone need to be on (cannot be silent).
They are on. As soon as I turn mirroring off, sound on phone is on.

Works perfectly on my sony 55w955
I guess it's drm problem until someone can tell he hasn't got that problem on a non Sony tv.

Could someone test it with a non Sony tv?

We've got a 5 series samsung TV, can't seem to figure out how to operate screen mirroring. "Throwing" stuff and using the media server mode works just fine though.
Yes that works fine but I can't play Sony films with throw, because of drm. But that's not what I want.

Hi,
I'm also facing the same issue with my Samsung F6400 model. I can mirror the screen and see the video play (sometimes with glitches) but no sound. Any tips from people who got it working? Do we have to connect via bluetooth as well to stream audio or something?

Don't use the mirror function on the TV, just use the throw function on the phone while still using hdmi1 on your TV
I can mirroring my phone with LG TV old version, and have sounds when play clips or music. Mirroring work awesome, not only with Sony phone and Sony TV.

HI All
I'm experiencing the same issue... When trying to Miracast from either Sony Z1 Compact or Sony SP to the Samsun F6650 TV - the video is OK, but there is no sound... Miracast to the Sony W605 TV goes with both video and audio.
It looks as a kind of incompatibility between Sony and Samsung devices (have found quite a few similar claims). Have someone manage to find a workaround for this problem?
Thanks

With LG working but Samsung not a change
The problem solved with the very recent firmware update! Now Xperia + Samsung couples with sound, finally... =)
Hi,
Since a few days I'm an owner of a Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet (Model Nr. SGP521) and I'm running on a prerooted 6.0.1.
Unfortunately my ambient light sensor doesn't work and if I'm checking the function in Service Menu it says that my device doesn't support this function.
Has somebody an idea how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Problem solved. A corrupted prerooted Firmware caused it.
