I can only send am MMS though the hangouts app. It fails in all the other MMS apps. In hangouts I am sending it to their number not their hangout.
I have the correct APN settings, anyone having this issue?

For some odd reason I am not able to receive or send text messages. I tried using Handscent and the app that sends your messages to an email account but so far and no results. I am using a Madaco 3.1 custom rom with the most updated radio (63.18.55.06JU_6.35.09.26). Also I do not have a data or texting plan and my network is ATT in the USA.

Im not sure about mms ... but for sms check in the settings if you have sms service center number in there....

Not sure anyone having same problem as me when receiving MMS, even if you send a MMS to yourself, you will receive 2 MMS messages?

I know what is the problem as I tried sending a MMS to myself using the default messaging client and I only received 1 MMS in return. When I view in Handcent SMS app, it also show one MMS instead of two MMS.
Guess the problem lies on the latest version of Handcent SMS app.
I am currently running on the Community ROM. When I send MMS to EMAILS it works. However when I send MMS to PHONE NUMBERS, the status of the message just sits at sending... FOREVERRRR.. Help?
Which radio are you using. I'm on ED01 and my MMS works perfectly.
In Google Hangouts, my SMS works fine and I can send MMS without issues. However, I cannot download any MMS messages I receive. I only get an error. I checked my APN settings in Hangouts, and it's set to the correct settings. There's no APN settings in Android Settings that I can find on the G3 (?). I don't have this issue with any other texting apps.... does anyone know how to fix it with Hangouts?
Do you have WiFi calling enabled? I have issues sending messages when it's on.

No, Wifi Calling is disabled.

I have a galaxy tab S using the Sprint service. It seems that either Samsung or the provider butchered the tablet so that it won't send text messages or phone calls. Is there anything in the play store or similar that would allow the device to use the sms / mms gateway settings to send text messages?
