First of all, i would like to mention that these libs are taken from @rooque 's github repository which he uses for omni rom. So, he really deserves the credit for this fix.
So, here is a zip file which u can flash using CWM/TWRP which fixes the compass. I have tried it on aicp and it was working. Please test and report for other roms.

HI im new to rom porting,
i used the CM 10.1 (4.2.2) rom from the HTC Sensation as the port rom & the romporter to try & port it to the mega using the cokelat rom as the base rom.
the porting got completed but when i flash it there was a black screen and no boot or sound. was wondering if anyone would like to try & help me with this port?
plus i hear theres a guy named "Rittik" on here looking for testers for CM 11 for the i9152, does anyone know how i can find this person??? :silly: :laugh: :highfive:

Many have contacted me about CM11. Nowhere I said that I have a working build. Anyway, the port is not working,because of the missing libs. Try making an adb logcat(which probably wont work as the kernel isnt insecured yet). I have been developing for the ideos x5pro(3year old device) which seems to have more developers around than crater(hardly 1year? Old). Sadly,single handedly its hard to port and finish up a Rom for a device as I have my unviersity running. If anyone with pre experiences want to join in, then I will be very happy to finish the project with him/her/them.

they will include it to rom if it can help but i think they will need to rewrite it for N compatibility

Before everything, I am going to explain you the story of all the roms and kernels development for J5 2016...
Everything started in November, 2016, there was a man, called @KingRaheel who started making the first two official custom roms, they were Light Stock Rom and Williams Hybrid Note 7 Rom...
They were heavy and full of bugs, but on January he released Light Stock Rom V3 but he closed Williams Hybrid Note 7 Rom project because he didnt have the device... He was working blindfolded...
I started to help him testing all he had done... Reporting bugs... But when he gave up, he gave both projects to the Big Boss,
@GeneticEnginer, but by then he was only an apprentice, and @KingRaheel had to teach him all his knowledge...
After a long period of time, he released more projects and started to collaborate with other Big Bosses... they were @Wizardlysense @zonik and others...
He started working very hard, but how he was going to the university, so he didn't has enough time to develop with university exams between... But he achieved it, he released a lot of projects, fully working, with very little quantity of bugs... Then he created his own kernel too... Basically, he took the situation very very well...
After a long time, he finally achieved it, he achieved porting CyanogenMod 13 and Lineage OS 14.1 to J5 2016, a very hard challange. Then, J5 2016 community started helping him, giving a lot of feedback and trying to solve some bugs... Like in call audio (the worst and most difficult to solve).
While he was hard working, other developers made other builds for J5 2016, and now, we are here, with a Mega account with all the roms, and kernels of J5 2016 community...

I am not the creator of any of this roms and kernels, but you can see in the roms folder a folder for LineageOS, inside there are two versions, the third is going to be uploaded very soon, with no random reboots.

I have installed it and until now its pretty stable. But like op said you should wait for v3
Edit: Anyone on v2. Google now feeds don't work. The device gets laggy and weird behaviour so I have to reboot.

Make sure you are using latest twrp by lemlis.
Go to wipe then check system then click change filesystem to ext4. Then try installating it
