[Q] Very Important Link2sd Question - Galaxy S 5 Themes and Apps

Hi I have a question. I had a few apps linked to link2sd then I reset my phone and erased everything. All the apps are still on my SD card and the link2sd file structure remains on there. Is there any way to relink all the apps that are on the SD card without having to reinstall everything on my phone one by one, manually?

I`ve posted this on Q&A section, but nobody knows the solution for my problem i`ve updated from MiniCM7 2.0.7>2.1.1 but then i discovered that my 2nd partition can not be mounted everytime i try to make an LINK2SD working this shows a message about making a script. but when i restart my phone and go to LINK2SD this message shows again i`m sure i have 2nd partiton on my SD Card. is there any ways to mount it manually or make it mounting automatically on boot??
Just because you posted in q&a and got no answer doesn't mean you can post here. Try searching and checking if you followed kernel instructions to the letter. One step can change everything.

[Q] Any way to move apps to external SD?

Dear Friends, is there any way I can move application to external card on my Galaxy S3? No apps can do this for now. Any ideas would be welcome. Thank you.
You could always use Android Commander to pull the apps to your PC and then put them on your SD card. You may also be able to use Titanium Backup to do it, but I'm not sure about that.
I would be interested in doing this as well, maybe there is a way to directly install to extSD?
Installing apps in SD card I dont know but you can use Titanium backup to backup them and restore back after a fresh flash install I think..
U can move apps to sd with app2sd hack or with a couple different apps from play store
I think app2sd is useless in S3.

Problem moving apps to SDCARD

Hey folks...
The last few days I've been trying to make my sdcard able storage apps.
I followed some instructions (from xda) on how to partition my card and make a second partition (ext2) in order to install apps.
Using the app Link2SD, I was able to recognized the partition and mount it (/data/sdext2) and thanks to init.d it is mounted on every boot.
The partition is actually there and I can confirm that navigating to /data/sdext2 using root explorer.
I can LINK apps just fine using the app, but I cannot move the whole app using native app2sd. I always got this message:
INSTALL_FAILED_INSUFFICIENT_STORAGE
And this is not true, since I got 20gb of free space in ext2 partition.
So, I hope someone give me some light on this issue, I can't figure out what is going on.

S3 got a lot of space. It more than enough to install just app. But if u're gaming in S3 u might need Directory Binding due App2SD not working on S3. Phone need to be Rooted. Search the forum for tutorial or YouTube.

Yes, games are the problem, they are BIG, specially gameloft titles.
What do you mean with directory binding? Is that the same as symbolic links that we can make with Link2SD?
EDIT: I just read this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1889550
It's not the same.
I only need a ext2 partition if the device is app2sd supported. In this case, s3 is not. Right?
Use "directory bind" software it's easy and safe

It an app. Similar to "GL to SD" app. But it more easy. Set it and forget. Unlike "GL to SD" u need to mount it every time.

Can I move other folders like I did with /sdcard/android/obb?
For example: /sdcard/android/data
yes

[Q] Can't see / access all of my sD card?

After I formatted my SD Card due to a write protected file I couldn't delete (I backed up every file on the SD card except the write protected file then pasted them back onto the sd card), I go into 'My Files' then All Files it shows 2 options: SD card and Internal Storage.
When I go into SD Card, it shows the directory "/storage/extSdCard", but where is the sdcard0 directory? So I can access all files & apps etc
Also I've noticed that when I view a large app (GTA SA) in the application manager the option to move to sd card is greyed out. This isn't because I'm running out of storage, I've got around 27GB free.
Man this is annoying

[Q] Titanium Backup mv apps to SD

Hello all,
I'm new to this forum. First of all, let me thank you for the amount of documentation and useful information that you have here! Nice job!!
I've been following this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2254358 for moving my apps into my SD card.
I expected a lot of free space as I was moving facebook, twitter, google play services and some other, but after moving them, the apps seems to be installed in my SD but I don't get any free space...
am I doing something wrong? any other way for movind apps?( I've read about link2SD, but it needs a partitioned SD card and now I don't know if, after repartiotioning it, I'll get the same results...)
Any other stuff that I can remove from my interna memory?
TIA,
Arnau

Bro follow this guide. It works great. Here is the link,
How to increase the Internal Memory
Repartitioning will delete the existing ext partition from sdcard, then format you sdcard and finally creates a new ext partition to the sdcard. So it will work for sure. Hope I Helped
Hello,
So, the Titanium Backup workaround does not work
Seems that I should start from there, even before installing custom ROM. (I guess I could do a backup of my apps and then restore).
Anyway, I'll try thant and take the opportunity to upgrade my ROM (I realized that I installed Ace-i-sure 8 instead of latest (12).
Thnaks to both for you answers,
Cheers,
Arnau
