Rooting the AXPAD 8E01 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey there! So i've had my tablet the AXTROM AXPAD 8E01 for 2 years and 2 days i think, so i found it again and started experimenting. As the model says it is a chinese company indeed. The tablet is semi-broken thanks to the chinese cheap methods. Anyways my question is how do i root this thing? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere in the internet. Here is the info.
Model number: AXPAD 8E01
Android Version: 4.1.1
Touch Panel version: JL 20
Baseband version: Unknown(not surprised at all)
Kernel Version: 3.0.8+
[email protected] #333
SMP PREEMPT Sat Jan 19 13:48:22 CST 2013
Build number: JB.AXPAD.V1.06.20130119
This tablet was gifted to me by my uncle in the middle east. If i can root it i won't throw it in the trash, but if i can't then it's basically useless because it's charging cord is semi-broken too, so straight to the trash. All info came from the about in the settings.

EDIT: I found the firmware for the tablet, if that is gonna help. It's on their original website. I can't post the link as i must post 10 posts.

[Q] Is my I9300 from China fake ?

Just recently bought the I9300 out here in China. Actually it's the 2nd time I've bought this phone (lost it the first time I owned it). Right away I noticed that some of the preinstalled chinese bloatware apps were different than what came preinstalled on the I9300 I previously owned.
Living in China I'm always nervous of something being a fake, even when I buy it from a trusted source. I think it's very possible that the phone has simply changed since the last time I bought it (about a year ago) but I figure it's better to post the specs on here and let someone who knows more about the phones in China decide if my phone is a fake or not.
Model Number: GT-I9300
Android Version: 4.1.2
Baseband version: 19300ZCELL1 (I couldn't find any information about this baseband version on any English websites and it's different from the S3 I owned last year)
Kernal version: 3.0.31 -963908 [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Feb 14 18:56:00 KST 2013
Build Number: JZO54K.I9300ZCEMB1

I think, your device is a Samsung Galaxy S3 Original.
You have the versión GT-i9300_CHN_CHN from China Unicom.
I have the same versión, but i change the stock rom, i made a modified rom from CHINA and Spain, so i can enjoy Play Store, and full Spanish or English Android.
If you still have doubts, Search the App: Genuine Galaxy S4/S3/Note II, this app tell you if your Galaxy is original, using hardware test.
Good Luck

Don't worry, buddy. That's just fine. You may install a new rom such as XXELLA or later.
The baseband ZCELL1 is customed for CHINA UNICOM. That is the ONLY services provider that have WCDMA/HSDPA network.
try this tutorial

[Q] Obi S401 - Rooting ?

Hello XDA!
I would like to root my newly purchased device, an Obi mobile S401 (I believe it's nicknamed Raccoon).
It's a cheap-o device (250 AED, roughly 80$ US), which may account for its near obscurity - so far I've been unable to find anything relevant to rooting this device, whether on Google or by browsing various message boards like this one.

Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
I'm not finding any device specific forums for your model or any specific rooting threads for you. Sadly, the most I can do for you is have your thread move to a Q&A forum, maybe some experts there can help you. I hope this helps, good luck.
