I like the paranoidandroid UI the ability to switch between phone, phablet and tablet styles, all the other roms I have tried put the buttons back, home in the middle of the tablet like a phone. With the stock UI they are on the left side and can be reached one handed is there anyway to get a loader, theme, or mod that will move them?

Firstly, congrats to all the wooters that got there gTablets this week.
Now, my question - I've got everything up and running on my gtablet with Vegan 5.1, but the docked favorite buttons (that can be easily changed in Cyanogenmod) has a phone shortcut. Since I don't have the availability of a phone on my device, I'd like to remove the icon or switch it out for something else, but I can't seem to figure out how. Am I overlooking something obvious?
Long press the dock icon to modify it, long press the screen to bring up selection menu for icons, wallpapers, etc..
The new Android 4+ Soft Keys take up too much screen real estate thus cancelling out the effect of going for a larger display phone.
Unlike the pre 4 Droid which handles the Soft Keys, Clock, Battery, Signal etc all on the single bar thus making use of that big screen.
So im looking at upgrading from a 4.3" HD2 Gingerbread with merged Status Bar + Soft Keys, to a larger 4.55" Xperia T unmerged.
Am I the only one bothered by this?
Is it possible to merge Status Bar + Soft Keys on Android 4+?
If you root it, you can flash a rom with tablet ui enabled, or a Paranoid rom which lets you tweak the dpi of each app individually (search for Paranoid Android on YouTube or something). This, of course, only works if these roms exist for this device

I was just wondering if out was possible to add two small features to your L build. First off, I suggest that a silent feature be implemented. This allows notifications to go through allowing the notification LED to work normally but it wont vibrate/ring. This feature is basically pressing the volume button one past vibrate on kitkat. The second feature I suggest is an easy way to access the homescreen from the recent apps menu. In android L, we are presented with a stacked cards style for the recent apps. The draw back is, once you open it, the only way to get out is to press the home buttion(noticed this in the paranoid androids version as well). My suggestion is once you enter the recent apps menu, touch the area that isnt taken up by the cards to go to the home screen. This is currently present in kitkat's recent apps menu. As you probably figured out by now, these arent big features and were present in kitkat. What im asking for is for the paranoid android team to bring these features to their android L build because Google did not.

hi guys, just wondering if theres an application that lets you transition menu tabs by swiping left or right like there is in liquidsmooth 3.2 KK. i have just flashed QS-i9300-KK-FINAL (OE1) and its a very nice rom, stable fast and have TW, but i really miss that swiping thing, it just makes your life a lot easier and going trough application tabs is so much faster.
another use of this thing is for example when i roll down my status bar i can make transition to notification panel just by swiping, i dont have to press that button up right.
so if you know any app that lets me do this i would appreciate it a lot, thanks
Come on guys, something like global gesture for swiping left or right in any application/menu/whatever which has tabs (like phone or clock), i cant be the first one to be looking for this :/
Hello, tell me please, how can I transfer some features from the stock firmware to custom/clean rom?
Like how does it work at all, is it possible to somehow transfer various functions from one firmware to another and what is needed for this?
For example, in LineageOS you can kill apps on long press back button/back gesture.
Asus Zenfone 8 stock rom have battery care feature, that can set charging limit + turn on steady charging. Tried Magisk module AAC, but I had problems with it and it did not work correctly for me.
There's also Asus stock has very vital feature for me: Quick settings panel style - switch between small circle or large pill(like on screenshot). I really hate this new large ugly pills which have appeared since A12. OmniROM has similar configuration that's allows you reduce these large pills, but this option not so flexible and in result it's still looks too ugly. Tried Power Shade app that can customize this panel and it's work, but it creates its own separate panel and the old one still remains. As a result, you immediately have two panels unfold when you pull it down. And that's horrible. And I didn't find another way to customize it, so only asus stock option work good...
