Restore S5 to stock, unrooted status.

I am giving my S5 to my youngest kid who is too young for a rooted phone with a custom rom. I am on TWRP, FOL1 and latest Area 51 Lollipop ROM. What are the steps to take the phone all the way back to unrooted, stock recovery/image/kernel?

Sounds easy enough. So in odin, which checkbox do I tick? And this will automatically unroot and overwrite TWRP with stock recovery as well? Thanks.

Flash this firmware : https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/126268/G925FXXU5EQBC_G925FOXX5EQC3_SEB/
You are trying to install a Vodafone firmware, which require more space on hidden partition (to get it flashable you must flash the right pit that allows 100M on Hidden part)

You don't need your phone the moment.
You can always flash it by flashing the required PIT file or by removing hidden.img from the firmware file, but you will get a lot of Vodafone-branded applications.
Just download the latest firmware (Binary Nature) though SamFirm. (SM-G925F // SEB)
Then, extract the PIT file from the CSC part and flash it via Odin with these options ticked :
• Auto Reboot
• Re-Partition
• F. Reset Time
• Nand Erase All
*if you want to reset all counters (like how much time you put earphones/charger in your phone)* • Phone EFS Clear

how you can be so sure that the link that you provide about the firmware is better? i mean why i cant flash this? its imposible ..
Everything is fine after I flashed the firmware that you gave me. Thank you very much my first. If you want explain me what happened and I couldn't flash the firmware that I download in first place. Thanksssss ))))
How I can root my phone now it's run nougat? Before I flashed a kernel.. now what? What if there is no custom kernel? That kernel contain supersu..
i just root my device.. is there any way to fix 0x1 knox? i mean when i flash a stock rom via odin or any program.. because when i flash the 7.0 i saw that the knox was 0x1 .. i was rooted thats why its 0x1.. but after flashing a stock firmware is there anyway to fix this? because maybe some time i am gonna sell this phone and dont want to saying knox 0x1.. i dont care then about the root but only the knox to will be as it was from the factory..
Once you've triggered the Knox counter there's no way to reset it sadly.
However, Knox is only useful for warranty purposes and if you're selling the phone then the warranty won't transfer over to the new owner anyway.
I have used "Triangle Away" by Chainfire to clear my Knox counters on every Sammy phone I ever had. Works like a charm.

Resetting to complete stock. Currently TWRP root / rom

Hey everyone, I gave up on my note about a year ago (rip, still miss the swappable batteries and easy back button) and would like to reset it. From what I remember, the phone has TWRP installed and boots to the stock rom slot every boot. How can I reset this to full stock? Can I use the built in recovery or would that have been wiped?

Thank you for the assistance, I just want to confirm I am doing this right.
I got the file from here https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-note3/SM-N900V/VZW/download/N900VVRUEOF1/54179/
Its a single .md5 file, named N900VVRUEOF1_N900VVZWEOF1_N900VVRUEOF1_HOME.tar.md5
and a dll file, do I need this dll?
The instructions https://paste.ee/p/vaaNq
Say "Add each file to it's respective field in Odin v3.13.1. Use CSC_*** if you want to do a clean flash or HOME_CSC_*** if you want to keep your apps and data."
I want to do a full wipe, does that mean I rename the file or not? And which slots do I check / load files into, just AP?

If you only have one file put it in the AP slot. Don't worry about the CSC, check or uncheck the right boxes and start Odin. If it doesn't wipe everything and I think it will, you can do a factory reset after the install. Good luck.

Google pay not working when flashed back to stock rom and recovery.

I recently purchased a note 9 on ebay and it arrived with a custom recovery (twrp) and rooted os I have since restored it back to the stock recovery and rom using odin. In the settings, it says the device is official and in a root check app it confirms that root is not installed but google pay says my device is altered or rooted and will not work. The Knox has been tripped and Samsung pay will not work.
Is there any way of getting google pay to work? I only used the preselected options in odin when I flashed the phone to the UK btu firmware it also worked first time.
I used BTU-N960FXXU3CSG3-20190726152110 firmware.

Softbrick - how to find CSC

Hello guys
Unfortunalely i managed to soft brick my s9 Plus.
I changed the CSC when it was working but don't remember to what.
I can boot into download mode however when i try to reflash via odin it says Fail.
I am guessing its because of the incorrect CSC file i am using
Does anyone know how to find CSC of a softbricked phone.
Attached is the screenshot from download mode. Hope it helps.

If you flashed another CSC with Odin, you may have to do a fatory reset / wipe data in recovery mode.
That is why I always use the "Home_CSC" file as CSC in Odin - to prevent this wiping.
For stock firmware files, I am using Frija: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tool-frija-samsung-firmware-downloader-checker.3910594/
