[Q]Reactivate native ActiveSync support

Hey Guys
I have a big problem... with android 2.1 i expected to have native exchange support and eventually Moxier in parallel.
i use Hotmail with Active sync as my main central for all contact, email and kalender sync.
the problems with moxier are:
- contact editing only in Moxier contacts and not the social phonebook
- low res contact pictures
- no external programs have access on my calendar
- no email widget
- no emails listed in timescape and contact card
so my question: is it possible to reactiveate the integrated EAS feature of android 2.1 and if yes, will the data be visible in timescape or at least in the Mail and calendar application and contact cards?
nobody with a solution??
I haven't tried the following solution but you can give it a shot if you want. You have to be rooted.

no that doesnt work....
i can use exchange with this but emails are still not shown in timescape/contacts and contact sync also doesn't work if i check it.....
other solutions? is there a source code of the SE Mail APP apk somebody could work with??

Can anyone help?

[Q] Facebook Messenger without Facebook Account in the US?

My friend is a pain in the ass and refuses to sign up for a Facebook account (fully locked down with no personal info and unsearchable) so we can all be on the same messaging platform. The rest of my friends prefer Facebook Messenger as we all have accounts already but we have been using GroupMe and recently Google Hangouts but now I am fed up. I read an article saying that Facebook started rolling out the ability to use Messenger without a Facebook account. Does anyone know if this feature is available in the US yet? I thought it was with the new app version however my friend just downloaded the Facebook Messenger app from Google Play but it seems to want him to sign up for a Facebook account. If this isn't avail on the US app, does anyone have a way I can get him on a version of the app that allows this ability?
No one has any info about this??

Problem with sync FB contacts to android's address book.

Hi. I am new here.
I have problem with sync contacts from Facebook on my smartfon with Android 4.4.4 (Samsung Galaxy Core Prime LTE). It was working about 1 or 2 weeks ago, now doesn't work. Android doesn't download even 1 contacts from Facebook to his address book.
I logged out from Facebook application, deleted account Facebook from account in address book. Then added Facebook account again, logged in in Facebook application. Switch on sync all contacts and setup contacts to show for google account and Facebook account. Sync was completed and nothing was downloaded.
I don't know how can I fix this up.
PS: Facebook application was reinstalled, doesn't help..
PS2: application such sync.me doesn't download any FB contacts , too.
Seems like it probably has something to do with their new API. Check out the info for another FB contact sync type app here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ro.weednet.contactssync
Yes it is the api. After the change and the current tos from Facebook Google removed androids native sync options for Facebook.

You just need a 3rd party app to do it. Facebook is not really a big thing with alot of people I know so I really dont use it much and stopped syncing stuff from it when the TOS changed a while ago.
Test a few out in the play store. One of them is bound to work.
