This ROM was created by Martin Coulon (@martinusbe) one of the lead devs at Ground Zero Roms. This was created as a side project during his 'free' time while waiting for GZR's Validus & Tesla builds to finish. Now if you are wondering why it is called Tipsy, you guessed it. He was actually somewhat drunk when he made it, and even now, most updates/fixes are done while happily intoxicated, thus keeping the Tipsy motto. It was initially done for the OnePlus One as a joke, however, the love for this ROM was so huge, it found it's way out. We just couldn't keep it to ourselves. Within a few days, it had spread like wildfire to a plethora of different devices.
Tipsy has a slim base, and only the useful and necessary stuff was added, including a few extra features to keep up with the competition out there. Tipsy fully supports Layers (RRO) and has the Layers manager app built-in. CM is kept to the barest minimum here, and is only added/used ONLY as needed.
I will try to keep this updated as much as possible, but if you feel like getting the info as it comes out along with some nice graphics, check it out here:

Did you mess with the settings? Like the video? Change it to 4k? That issue? If so after reboot change back to 1080p should fix. Hope this helps

Nothing was tampered with. The app didn't even open to begin with for me to change any settings to it. I also tried to do a clean install and the first thing I did was install CameraNextMod without messing with anything else. The app just force closed and never opened.
One of the best ROM. Downloaded, Flashed and running for almost 5 hours.
I have a question is there any setting to disable floating status bar.
Another request: please consider aligning left clock in clock & date settings!
Thanks for this beautiful ROM.

Not sure what the issue might be then? Bad download? I have CameraNext Mod on my OPO works great, unless you know you change the video settings to 4k and then it goes to potts. After a quick reboot and reset the settings its fine. You should probably get a log of it when it crashes but then again it sounds more like the app then anything, since atleast two of us testers are using the same app and it works.

Dirty Unicorns (DU) is a custom ROM originally based off AOKP, but now based from OmniROM. DU brings you a great mix of stability and customization. The idea to start a ROM like this was purely out of boredom, but later turned into a form of an addiction, a good one. We began to have fun while still doing things the right way. By doing so, we received high praise from not only our users but by fellow developers of other ROMs that also enjoy seeing things done the right way. This ROM will always be free of charge without any strings attached or any of it's developers luring you into donating, or any form of "pay to flash".

I think tomorrow I'll have the first build(I'll try if it works, and if it works I´ll put it in the post). My terminal is building now, and maybe in a couple of hours I'll have a build but I don't know if this will work. But I promise before weekend we'll have a functional build.
Yes!
Very cool. I have tried your aokp ROM and it is very nice, runs smooth and fast. I have been wanting to try the new dirty unicorns for a while and even tried to port it myself nut couldn't get it working. I will be checking this thread a lot and will give it a try as soon as you get it uploaded. Do you own a RAZR XT912 or an XT910?

F.A.Q
1. What is 'Layers Manager' app included in the ROM?
The ROM has an included theme engine is different than that of CyanogenMod's Theme Engine. It's AOSP based theme engine. And it is developed by sykopompos, CalllMeAldy, bgill55
Read it further here and here.
In order to install RRO based themes, Layers Manager was born. You can download and install themes either from the themes collection thread or from the Play Store

If you are using a dhcp you need to change the modem dhcp lease time to a higher value that will prevent from disconnecting. You can use static ip but after rebooting the device you will need to set up again the settings.

As the ROM name suggests, we are keeping it really minimal. Third party apps sometimes do better job than stock apps
SMS app may be added in future, but I won't promise it.

I haven't tested memory related things yet. But it should be better than CM12.1 as the ROM has no bloat included whatsoever

Great ROM!
All the best for the future development!
As somsone suggested in the CM12.1 thread, is it possible to make the phone app more responsive? Answering and calling often gets laggy and is an annoyance for both caller and call receiver.

This ROM was created by none other than the great Martin Coulon (@martinusbe). This was created as a side project during his 'free' time while waiting for GZR's Validus & Tesla builds to update. Now if you are wondering why it is called Tipsy, you guessed it. He was actually somewhat drunk when he made it, and even now, most updates/fixes are done while happilyi ntoxicated, thus keeping the Tipsy motto.

Sorry for OT but, any chance to see MIUI v6?
Pretty Good till now. Had some Google play servies issue with OpenGapps Aroma. Worked fine with Delta Gapps. BTW OP, can you revert Curved edges in system UI to stock? It's quite bothersome. ;P

Okay, bug report. I suspect its a Slim bug. The Volume rocker music controls option doesn't seem to work when turned on, and screen is off. Its under advanced options in sound.

Still running this ROM from test phase. This really is an excellent ROM, the best battery life of all Roms for the I9100. @aniket.lamba should become the official maintainer for this device.

maybe
Finally had time and decided to test drive this rom, like always everything based of Slim is solid,
And this rom is pretty solid, very smooth.
But with I have this issue on my phone, don't know if my phone is old or...... Maybe someone can try to reproduce this error, just so I can be sure its not my phone.
Watching mkv files for a long time (2 or 3 hours) without rebooting the phone, checking kernel adiutor shows both cpu as offline.
Notification Volume
I have searched but can't find the notifications volume. It seems it's lower than ringtone volume

Cheers
I will try this as soon it is stable enough. I was stoked about the performance of vanir ROMS back on the days when I used my Galaxy Nexus.
issue?
Perhaps this is a common issue, didn't seem to find it though.
This ROM installs OnePlusControl (app) on the phone, though if I use it to switch the layout of the hardware buttons (I need this!), the setting just switched back.
Am I doing anything wrong? I flashed this ROM, flashed GAPPS nano. Oneplus X is the device.
The OnePlusControl app shows the following settings:
1: Swap Butttons (Swap the order of recent and back buttons) <----- On by default, I want this off. The left button should be recent and right should be back.
2: Notification Slider settings (not important for this issue)
I would like to hear from someone if they experience the same problem or rather, have already found a solution
Thanks in advance.

Can confirm, ashwin confirmed the app currently does nothing
Edit:Source
VanirAOSP
The Rom works perfectly on my phone.
I have used this ROM for 2 weeks now and I have no complaints.
Waze (navigational app) crashes as soon as it knows or tries to get my location, but I just use Google Maps instead now.
Thank you for posting this great ROM.
