im want to make my rom lollipop i do what he do in video youtube/watch?v=LG1JCPd3u5k
but when i do wipe i select all and the zip file delete from storge and i trasnfer the zip file to usb storge and mount all
when i press install recovery said filed error executing ubdate binary in zip /emmc lolipop_final.zip/
error flashing zip '/emmc/lollipop_final.zip'
my recover y in video youtubewatch?v=JvJFIQLXa5s
plz fix it i do not use flashing tool

hi.. pls help me on this.. i hav a rooted xperia x10 i with xrecovery 0.3 installed.. but i am unable to install custom zip .. i get a error msg of e: cant mount /sdcard

Go into recovery and find mounts/mount sd card,then try to install,if that does'nt work by itself,mount data also.Remember to unmount the data partition after install,check it first,sometimes a rom will unmount data automatically after install.
Hello everyone!
I am new to xda. This is my first post. I have been trying to install J.Y Daddy's boot recovery. The problem that I am getting is that after I had installed RazrBootstrap, I could not install the zip file ‘RAZR-CWMOnBoot-Global-J.Y.Daddy.zip’.
I did the following
install zip from sdcard
choose zip from sdcard
it gives this error
"E:Can't mount /sdcard/"
I dont have a sdcard (external) on my phone. Is there any solution to this problem? I am following this thread
it works off external sdcard only (as far as i know.. unless someone knows another way)

Installation aborted.

is your CWM updated to the latest?
Yes it is, i use the one from chainfire CWM Manager v3.60 current recovery : CF-CWM-v1.5

B No or faulty CWM recovery reflash CWM recovery .

Ok i will re-install it again with the latest versions and see whats happening:good:
Because it dos this with all the zip files makes no different which one i try to install it gives the same answer over and over.
Ok problem solved i had a bad external sd-card that caused all the problem i put a other 1 and now everything installs and works like a charm:good:
I've been having this exact same problem today, but the ROMS are on my internal SD card. Tried 3 different roms, same error message!
Yeah in some kind of way when i put a other external sd-card the problem was solved, but it can be that you also have some corrupted files downloaded maybe if you download them again its ok.
And some files will only install from a external sd-card because thats automatic mounted and a internal not but don't hang me up on that i am not a specialist in these kind of things.

I would like to install "cerberus_disguised-4.4.zip" ,my ALPHA is rooted and CWR is installed too .
I copy "cerberus_disguised-4.4.zip" to root of my ALPHA ,and boot to CWR ,but no solution for install it :
for test ,i rename "cerberus_disguised-4.4.zip" to "updte.zip" and copy to root of my mobile .it's the same problem...
choose update.zip to install form sdcard = KO
choose update.zip to install form folder = KO
and so and so ,the message is "can't mount sdcard" ,"can't mount folder" and it's right : it doesn't exist an sdcard slot.....
if anyone have an idea....

Have you tried using TWRP recovery? I know it has been modded to deal with the SD card and OTG issues.

Hello, from Greece. trying to get 5.1.1 on my S3 Neo i9301 but unsucceeded
I use odin3 v3.09 and download the CF-Auto-Root-s3ve3g-s3ve3gzh-gti9300i.tar.md5 to my device.
I'm trying to download cm-12.1-20150518-UNOFFICIAL-s3ve3g and pa_gapps-stock-5.1-20150315-signed on the phone but i unzip them and i cannot find the .md5 file ..
When i transfer these files to the device i can't find them because i cannot load files from the sdcard but only from external storage. I transfer them to the external storage on a file that i create under the name update.zip but i got this error message
E: failed to verify hole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Can you please guide me?

The only options i have..
- reboot system now
- apply update from ADB
- apply update from external storage
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- apply update from cache

Can i use it with samsung "smart switch" to sync files with outlook?
