Hello, I'm sharing this rom, it's the latest build available for Latin America S5830LUBKPL. I removed the CSC (no carrier customization) and I've included the latest modem (baseband) available for the Brazilian device S5830BVJKPE. So, no more problems with band frequencies.
It includes English, Español, Brazilian Portuguese PT-BR and Korean as languages and is a One Package file.

PS:
B - Unbranded with the latest modem for the B model only.

Hi guys! Here's my question... I bought my SGA overseas and it is the S5830 version (no B or L). Now I'm in Argentina and the only data connection I get is GPRS (that is only by 2G). I know that the band frequencies of the carriers are not the same here and overseas so, is it possible to make the 3G connection to work??? I mean, what if I flash a new L-version modem??? Or is it that the basebands are hardware defined... Thanks a lot, cheers.-
It's hardware related, you can't change frequencies by flashing a different modem.

I have a 5830B and since the first time I tried a custom ROM the number changed to 5830 without the B and whenever I connect to my provider using 3g the screen randomly turns off and I have to press the power button to lock the phone an then the home button to recover from this state.
The only way to use the phone without this problem is by using EDGE intead of 3g.
Do you think that if I flash this ROM this problem will solve?
Yes, it will, flash it and wipe data using the recovery.

yeah , its posted in wrong section , well i tested the UBKL rom in SGA s5830L model, and not work the 3G network , only Edge .
I configure my apn's for my carrier (Digicel Panama).
So my problem now, is how activate the 3G data.
I also have a s5830i, with the same apn's, and the 3g conection work very fine :victory:
I don't now if the phone s5830L have a setting o tweak that i not activated or sometime

hi guys i just updated my galaxy s3 from ICS to JB today but now i am unable to connect to the internet correctly (i am using the 2G net (it do show that "E" sign) . My guess is that i bought my phone from UAE and now i am in India ,might be modem problem . any fix

Hi i have a samsung note2 (gt-n7105) the hong kong version i wanted to know if there is a way to change everything to the english software as im have problems with signal witch i have been told could be the modem files but i do not know how to change them i have managed to root my phone from help from your forums i have been told that the modem file could make the signal strenth to be bad and give call drops out and not registed on network
i have all ready checked the phone is not blacklisted
If any one can help i wouls be very gratefull

Rather than flashing just the modem, it is better to flash a full firmware. Download an official (possibly 4.4.2 now it is released?) firmware from sammobile or other relevant websites, back up your data, and then flash via Odin. You can always try other firmwares to check for better signals.

I installed CM11 a while ago and it works perfectly, but from now, I need the MHL support for my GT-I9300 so I've been wondering if I need to switch back to the stock ROM for that.
The only problem is that, after searching for a while, I didn't manage - for sure - to find the my "correct" stock Firmware for my phone network : eMobile (branch of Eircom telecom). The only firmware that I find are only related to other mobile network (Vodafone or Meteor).
the question is : did I miss the ROM or will it be OK to use let's say the Vodafone one without bricking my phone / beeing unable to connect to my mobile provider ?
PS : I used the search button intensively but no luck...
Go to sammobile.com and download the generic firmware for your country/europe.
Network connection problems will depend on what has been done to your phone to damage the efs folder.
MHL only works on stock based firmware.

As fas as i found i have to upload EVR firmware.
I can't find any ware G925FXXU3COI9 with EVR but i found this:

You will get a write fail message on Odin flashing the EVR firmware. If you look at the Wifi Calling thread basically the process is to go into download mode in Smart Sync - and use the serial number from an EE phone to get it to flash your phone with EE firmware.
