Hi, I was on 5.0.x and updating to the second soak test, everything went fine but when the phone booted up it got stuck at 'M' logo. I tried clearing cache and restoring factory but in vain. Finally I decided to downgrade and downloaded stock 4.4.4, I used mfastboot and followed all instructions, got few errors. The problem is still there, please help. I think it is soft bricked.

You said 4.4.4, which means you're talking about the first generation Moto E and not the second generation Moto E.
About what you said, I don't think that downgrading from Lollipop to KitKat is possible. Don't do it. You should look in the proper forum how to flash a Lollipop firmware.

On most Rom when you download it tells you what to do such as wipe or mount. Did it say anything specific. Could have been a bad download.
Alright so first off don't know if I should be posting this here. Anyway. I tried to Change my recovery messed up and my phone got bricked. So I went back to stock 4.1.1 and worked fine. Did the updates but when it got to 4.1.2 it dowloaded it and installed it but when it went to boot up it keep on flashing samsung galaxy note 2 boot logo. So I try to flash it again but this time it gets to the nand write start on odin and keeps on failing. Someone please help me I'm stumped on this one
Are you having a problem with not getting a no you Verizon update if not try doing that download with Odin and it may fix it but if you can do a factory reset do that before installing an update or anything
Hello,
New to xda-developer forum, but was hoping I could get some help.
I have a Droid Razr M, that has had the boot loader unlocked, but not rooted anymore, after getting an update prior to kitkat. If I remember correctly I was able to get previous updates with no issues with the boot loader unlocked. Today I heard that kitkat was out for my device, so I went into settings to check for a system update and I was offered to update to 4.4.2 (Kitkat). So I went ahead and did it.
However, the problems lies now that It is stick in a boot loop, with the "WARNING BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED" message that I always got after unlocking it. I noticed after the update the boot was taking a really like time, but then I noticed it would **** off and god right back to that same message. Knew something wasn't right, Itll shut down and reboot the that screen multiple times. I first tried clearing the cache partition. Nothing. Tried resetting/wiping, that also didnt fix it.
Some help would be greatly appreciated here.
If you need more information I can try my best.
Thank you!
Long story not-so-short.
Due to upgrading to G5 I decideed to sell my G3.
I was running CM13 (one of the latest nightlies), 21C modem and TWRP 2.8.6, so it seemed like a good idea to go back to stock-ish firmware.
To do so, I installed stock ROM using this method with 21A modem.
Everything worked fine. I had a working LG ROM.
Then I had this great idea of mine to install even 'stocker' firmware with LG UP. (I couldn't do that while running CM13 - LG UP didn't recognize the phone)
And that was the moment when everything fell apart.
It took a few minutes for LGUP to 'install' the new firmware. Qhen phone finally rebooted, I got stuck in TWRP. There was no chance to boot a system.
I tried this fix and it didn't help.
I also tried to restore my nandroid backup (i made it on clean CM13) and it didn't work either.
Then, as an idiot I thought "How hard can it be?" and went crazy: wiping, formatting, trying to flash new modem (this tme 30B hybrid), boot, sytem and doing probably all the things I shouldn't do.
So the conclusion is: I have a nice gold brick with working TWRP, adb and LG's download mode, but nothing more than that.
No chance to boot to system and I guess with a pretty messed up system partition.
Also, I think there's some problem with flashing anything, as I don't see any lines while installing, just a few seconds and info about succeeded flashing.
Is there anyone who could help me?
Someone please help me! My phone has been dead for 2 days, and I tried every written method to revive it, but no luck, its stuck in a bootloop, and I cant do anything with it..
The problem started, when I flashed an official ftf in flashtool. Since then, its stuck in a bootloop. It gets to the dancing xperia lines stage, but then it just reboots, and starts again. I tried flashing like 13 different ftf s, and no change.
My phone had an unlocked bootloader, and I was on a working nougat rom, I just decided to go back zo the official rom, by flashing an OG 5.1.1 ftf, then when it booted up, it got to the stage when it says updating android apps, and when it finished that, it just rebooted, and started it again and again.
Someone please help me what to do :crying:
