Not sure why Samsung blocked developers from having their own custom Always On clock but it is a real crappy thing to do. I would love a bigger digital clock with the the date that doesn't move for my Always On.
This Samsung face is not bad. Digital date and not move (or not see, just pixel)

Hello everyone, I did the following, there is only one thing you must get used to and you can have your favourite watch face available with the wake-up gesture on, here is what I did in the gear s "settings--> display--> wake-up screen--> select "Last screen". The only down side to this is you must remember to hit the home button to your home screen before going into sleep. When the screen is off and you glance the watch face will appear and not the digital clock from the other non samsung default watch faces.
Remember by doing so more battery will be used unless you select a similar watch face as the digital one. It will show for the same 10 seconds as the digital face.
A bonus to this is that you do not have to tap the screen to wake from the digital clock, you go directly to the home screen, that is one less tap per glance.
Do not forget to hit the home button, you will get used to that or swipe down till you get the home screen.
Enjoy!!!

is that a serious question?
I use it to change brightness and enable/disable bluetooth when getting into my car.
oops double post.
You do know all of that is available in the drop down tray. Including brightness. Just slide your finger across the tray left and right

not if it's on auto
plus, why not use it.
Maybe the OP doesn't feel like sliding down the notification bar.
To turn on BT I can
1) Hit the button on the power widget on my home screen
or
2) slide down notificiation, hit the BT icon, which opens up the BT settings, click enable BT... then hit back to return to my homescreen.
^ apologies, it just doesn't seem "simple clean" to me.....
"simple clean" is referring to the wallpaper... not the widgets/apps setup
eww, toooo many "samsung" on this phone already. =P
I kind of like it.
+1 to frankencat.
I love the samsung aspect to this phone.

DOWNLOAD
downloading right now....will be back with feedbacks...btw,where did u find it???looks cool....thanks
I have been using that for a long time, but it has some way to go still:
Pros:
- Looks good
- Able to update the location properly. When travelling, it actually updates the location accurately.
- Has a lot of skins and fonts to go with a lot of themes you might be using
- Free App
Cons:
- Memory use is very high. ~25MB. It was fixed in one of the versions (~8MB), but it is again back to 25.
- Day and night calculation is bugged. It will show the Sun icon during the night and vice-versa. The dev claimed to have fixed it, but, its not, for me.
- Local time showed in the weather forecast screen is off by half an hour. (Probably because I am in a GMT +x.30 Zone)
- Skins are just colour variations of the clock. I would have expected some 'proper' skins, and, the ability to change the colour via a picker.
Sorry (I need this word very often, but i mean it seriously)
Is there a widget like this (or even better), with 3D Flip clock and weather, which i can place on the desktop (i don't have the right word for the android screen), and when i tip with my finger on it, it shows the normal clock (Clock, Alarms..) options.
Thanks for your answers.
looks awesome will download

Weather Underground has long been the best weather app in the entire world. Even China! Recently they got a massive overhaul and redesigned the entire app. With a new user interface, you'll love the way information is displayed. Who said charts and numbers have to be boring? This app is a great example of how you can take a lot of data and pair it with a great design. Check out these screenshots.
Right on your front page, you'll be able to see the weekly forecast, the amount of daylight hours for the current day, visibility, humidity and you can even listen to the weather broadcast system for your area.
Of course any decent weather app will come with some sort of widget for your homescreen. WU has some great widget options that look just as good as the app UI.
If you're looking for a fantastic weather app, give Weather Underground a try. It's also worth a look even if you're just checking it out to see the new design.
Download Weather Underground
The redesign is the major reason many stopped using it or never updated it.
I wish they would make it have all the important info on one screen without need to scroll...
-top 1/2 weather map, animated by default, remember my preferred zoom and center postion (current map is a too small)
-middle 1/4 current temp and conditions
-bottom 1/4 5 day forecast
Hello all how can i change the optins that my current lock screen has?
It has a microphone, a lock and the camera. How can i change the microphone with the Phone to get staight to contacts from lockscreen? I used to have another device which at lock screen had Phone, Camera and The Lock icon.
Is there a way to change it or should i get an app that has more features?
Unfortunatley Not
The Default lock screen is very limited in customisation unfortunately. You can't even set a custom wallpaper you are limited to the ones included with the phone. So simply no is the answer to your question.
As for using a different lock screen application, this would most likely disable fingerprint support and increase battery consumption.
All we can do is hope for more features with the next update.

I was able to set a lock screen wallpaper to be honest with you all i want to know if you can replace the microphone thing which is in the left corner that says swipe to voice command with for example a shortcut to contacts or something which was supported in previous android phone that i owned.

Yes you can change it, but not with the stock rom. You have to install the xposed framework and Gravity Box. Then you can change it in the Gravity Box settings

Hi folks,
I just created a new watchface and wanted to ask you for feedback
Buuut I also have a question: Does anybody know, how to integrate the weather with openmaps? I want to autoupdate the symbol at the homescreen with the data of openmaps but i've absolutely no idea where to start..
Back to the watchface
This watchface is for those guys who don't need all the fitnessinformation at their homescreen.
With this watchface you will be able to launch important apps instantly from the homescreen. Just click on the corresponding symbol to open your SCHEDULE, the TIMER, the WEATHER, the MUSICPLAYER or the SETTINGS.
What else?
This watchface shows you the status of your battery in percentage. But also the symbol of the battery will change. If you want to use the always on option the design will change to a simple one - it will show you the basic function of a watch: date and time
Also the symbol of the weather will change: daytimes there will be sun, at night it will change to a moon.
Buuuut the best of this watchface: Even the name accioates that it will be a simple blue design, you will will be able to choose your favourite background colour out of several wallpapers (green, yellow, red, orange, pink, black and many more). Just double tap the background to change.
As I already wrote: I would love to get some feedback to optimize the watchface to your wishes. Thanks in advance!
You will be able to download it for free at the Samsung-Gear-Shop in a couple of days (depends on Samsung).
