Sometimes when using my tablet, it would randomly go to a blue screen. No error message or anything. The only way to escape it is to hard reset. I don't know why it does this, and how can I fix it? I am rooted with HDX Nexus 2.0.5, and the main version of my tablet was 3.2.1 (also the bootloader is 3.2.1. Never updated it lol.)

latest raring boot not working?
installed the latest raring of this today on my KF HD 8.9, and upon reboot get nothing but a dark screen (the backlight is on, but nothing else displayed). reloaded my cm1.01 and everything is back to normal. cannot wait to play with ubuntu, but for now it appears that the latest build is not working.
ubuntu touch in KF HD 8.9
attempted to use the latest saucy-preinstalled-phablet-armhf.zip as well. still getting only black screen at boot, and must manually power off.
Same Boat
I updated to the new Saucy version of Ubuntu Touch and I am having the same problem with my Nexus 7 (black screen). I had to reinstall Android. I think it was a bad image and so I am gonna wait to see if they fix it before I try re-installing Ubuntu Touch on my device.
@1roxtar
still no love on the KF HD any luck on your Nexus 7
So I acqired an Acer Iconia A500 tablet, and I kinda want to restore the OS on it.
You see, the OS ended up being a demo version of Android 3.0.1, somehow without Andriod Market/ Google Play store.
Does anyone have any ideas? Do I need to root (please no GingerBreak, I already tried and failed)
I'm posting because the last time I tried to "fix" a tablet I bricked a Kindle Fire
So, what I would like to accomplish:
1) replace the OS with a new version of 3.0.1, or 3.1, or 3.2
or
2)replace the OS with a newer version of Andriod (4.4, 4.3, even 4.2)
but most importantly,
3) get the tab to have Google Play Store so I can download other apps.
I'm very much a noob when it comes to dev for this kind of thing.
And I need help, because I don't want to brick this one like I bricked my Kindle Fire (which also ended up being a demo device).
Thanks in advance!

I had my Kindle Fire HDX 7" rooted with towelroot, full google play store etc. Then Play store updated a little while ago and google stopped working. I decided to try to revert to stock fire os, so I did a full factory reset. I have since tried to update the Fire os from 13.3.2.6 to the latest - 13.4.5.3 but I get a parse error every time. I have downloaded the update both direct over wifi and also to my PC and then through USB - no difference. I suspect some remnants of the rooting process may be at fault, but I don't know where to look. The root folder is empty. Any help would be welcome, thanks.
Something has happened with my HDX 8.9 3rd gen (purchased in Nov 2013), Wi-Fi has turned off after a long time of using the old Nexus v2 ROM via SafeStrap without any reason and I'm unable to turn it on.
I've tried a simple reflashing, I've tried Amazon ROMs (up to 14.3.2.4) and other custom ROMs, resets, no significant changes.
I've tried to restore /persist partition from /persistbackup and some other ways to check if the issue is with /persist.
Can someone please advise if it is possible to fix an issue without replacement of motherboard?
I think that this can be an issue with NAND or something.
Kindle fire hdx 7" os 4.5.5
Is Already factory resetting and wifi still won't on...so I can't do anything with my kindle
