I keep my Nexus 6 in my shirt pocket. I do my best to hold onto it when I bend, but I'm not perfect and it could fall. Is there some kind of case that would attach it to the pocket to keep it from slipping out.
I'm not eager for adhesives. Maybe a case or bumper with some kind of clip.

Depending on if you have a case or not, you may want to look at the Seidio holsters? They have clips. I just tried my dilex one with the nillkin bumper case and that works fine. A bit bulky but it's not going anywhere. But if you have no case, or a thinner case, they have clip holsters for that as well. I actually have the N6 surface holster that housed my Spigen Ultra Hybrid case, but because the Nillkin was a bit wider and longer I had to get the dilex version.

i just bought the cellet holster for tmob tp2 from ebay for $9.99 and it is perfect.
Cellet Rubberized Elite Holsters is the best. the elite holster is made of a hard plastic that has a rubberized texture coating for extra grip and durability. When you insert the phone you will hear it "click" into place. Phone is ultra secure within the holster. You can press the release tab on the top of the holster to remove your phone. The belt clip on this holster is awesome. Clip will turn/lock in different positions. The clip has a slim profile so it will not extend far from your waist and bump into things. You can access the charger port, volume, memory, etc. There is also a cutout for the camera on the back of the holster. This holster is designed to fit the phone face-out but it will also fit face-inward. Attach to your side and always have quick access to your phone.
i did buy a week before this one, the bodyglove case and was very disappointed. the case dug into the side of the phone, was begging to take up the protective stickers on the keyboard, and was very bulky, and when clip to my belt stuck to far out. two thumbs down for bodyglove,,,,,
two thumbs up for cellet holster!!!!

nice find.....i just ordered a different rubberized case for my Tmo TP2 but i may pick this one up as well. I agree with you about the bodyglove case. That thing has caused more harm to my phone than good (i.e. scratched keyboard and overall abrasive fit while it cradles the phone). given the pic above i'll def. have to check out the cellet holster.
one full day of playing around with it: IT STILL ROCKS. IT IS AS SOLID AS.... WELL A ROCK! LOL . great feel, and not bulky at all
yeah!thanks!!good work!

Oh yeah, I would never walk around with the screen exposed to the elements / harmful objects that could scratch, damage, or kill the screen.
you can flip the phone around to protect it some more the back of the case is cut out for the camera and speaker though, it has two small squares and a small rectangle
I have a Samsung Galaxy SII (SGH-i777) with a TPU case which slightly increases its overall dimensions. Looking for a belt holster with a decent clip that is large enough to hold this. I was leaning towards the Nite-Ize "Clip Case Sideways" in the Large size, but I'm not even sure that would be quite big enough (I sure do like the Nite-Ize belt clip, tho'):
Any suggestions ?

Belt clip holster for Otterbox commuter
(⊙_⊙)
Thanks, I found that when I was searching the forum for answers before posting myself. But what I'm looking for is more of a ballistic nylon or leather holster with a flap that covers the phone when it's on my belt - thus my initial look at the Nite Ize product.
Appreciate the effort, tho'
I also have my SG2 in a case, although I bet mine is a little thicker as I am using the SGP Linear Color case. However I picked up a pleather holster case at Target for about $15. It's made by Case Logic. Unfortunately I don't know the model number or anything like that. They are not boxed, so you can easily try it out if you have a Target store in your area.

I use this case: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-SGH-i777-Horizontal-Executive-Magnetic/dp/B005NABFRO/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1339204574&sr=8-7
I don't use a TPU case with it however I believe there is enough space to accommodate one. The i777 is a bit loose inside the case - I suspect the case was designed for the slightly larger i9100. I will try to take a photo tonight showing how much space is between the case and the phone, if you are interested.

I had a Nite-Ize holster case 10 years ago for my Casio Cassiopeia E125 Pocket PC. I loved that case. The belt clip snapped close; when open the belt clip turned into a upright stand. However ... the velcro goes out after a year or so. I had another non-Nite Ize case with a velcro flap - did the same thing. Velcro was useless after a year. Magnetic closures are much better in this regard.

Short review of PureGear Kickstand case & holster. Had this case for about a week now and think it is good. Would rate it 4/5.
Pros: Holds phone snug in the case and fits firm in the holster. Holster clip is really sturdy as well. Swivels 180 degrees and has soft suede like interior to help protect screen. Phone slides in face in. Rubberized texture of the case as almost the perfect balance between smooth and friction IMO. I don't like when cases are too rubbery or too smooth. Kickstand is cool. It slides out and down easily. It also snaps into position easily as well and feels sturdy. I don't get a cheap feeling from this case.
Cons: Case only covers the left and right side of the phone. Wish it covered top and bottom as well. Because of this, I sometimes switch to another silicone case that I have when I want more protection. It does cover the corners just enough for protection though. Also, sliding case into holster is a slight pain. There is a lot of friction between the case and holster so you have to use some force to slide phone into holster. I guess this can be considered a pro however since phone will not slide out easily.
Paid $25 for it on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/290733237844?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
The PureGear website has it for $30. http://www.pure-gear.com/shop-by-device/samsung/kickstand-case-holster-for-samsung-galaxy-note.html
I bought one from caseology and that thing ain't thin at all. Does anybody know where I can get a thin case preferably plastic
I have the Incipio Feather for the G3 and it's pretty thin, I like it. It fits tight too which is good. The Caseology has a tiny bit of slack making the phone move around in it. Once some grit gets in there that movement makes the case like sandpaper to the back of the phone.
Red shield tpu on Amazon.
G3
Cruzerlite bugdroid cases. That are much thinner than the Caseology. I can post a comparison because I have both. I need to stop buying cases.. I have 12 now..

I hope these help out. I really like the Cruzerlite, it has a nice finish on the back for a TPU case and the fit us excellent.
I'm looking for suggestions for a thin case for my Pixel that will fit in a belt holster. I'm currently using this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MG4BBX1/
but the case is pretty thick, around 3.5mm. All of the ones in that style have a kickstand on the back, which adds to the thickness.
I see Seidio makes a Surface which they say is 2mm thick, quite a bit thinner. I've never had one, and am not sure about the TPU inner part covering the buttons, wondering if it messes up the feel.

Any comments on the Surface for this (or other) phones, or suggestions for a thin case/belt holster set?
I use a Google Live Case with a vertical leather belt pouch like this one. Works well for me.
I thought about the Seidio Surface, but don't like kickstands.
I can recommend the Supcase that comes with a belt clip but it's not the thinnest thing in the world - definitely a thicker heavy duty case. No kickstand though.
On that note, I'd be happy to mail you the belt clip if you wanted it if you paid for shipping, as well as test my various cases first to see if any are compatible with it. Just let me know. (My wife uses the case but not the belt clip.)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I had bad luck with phones sliding out of that type of case (running with the dog or working under a car).

Thanks, but I have a belt clip for it without a case (think it's encased brand, ironically).
I decided to order a Surface and give it a try. Showed up today. The TPU part is a lot thinner than I was expecting. I'll post some thoughts on it after I've had it a few days.

What's the verdict?
I had one like this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MXDYKP7) on my Galaxy S6 and Moto Z, but would like a little protection on the Pixel.

That's the holster I was using when I didn't have it in a case. I liked it, but decided to stick with a case. Phone was a little too slippery for me without one.
I ended up returning the Seidio case/holster. For one thing, it was more difficult to get in and out of the holster, although it probably would have loosened up over time. Some of the headphones I have didn't fit the jack with it on, and the lip around the front made it more awkward to use. A lot of it came down to I just didn't think it was anywhere near being worth the price. For me anyhow. I see Amazon has a like new one right now for $21 though.
I'm still using the case/holster combo I linked to in the first post, and it's protected the phone from a few fumbles drops just fine.
