SM-G925F Bluetooth issues - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I am on BOGE firmware fresh install no root yet. Having issues with bluetooth connectivity. When I connect a device (Beats Studio Wireless 2.0) I can listen to an app until I start switching apps or stop and resume the playing. Occasionally the connection breaks and I need to switch on and off the headphones. Switching bluetooth on/off on the device does not help. Had no problems using these headphones on S5. Tried to clear bluetooth cache/data and format cache partition, unpair/pair the device with no result.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you

Having the same issues with the newest update BOGF.
The connection drops constantly when connected to my cars BT.
Used to work fine until last update.

Bluetooth Phone As Modem Problems - ROM 2.17.651.0

Guys:
With the previous ROM that HTC pulled from their website, I didn't have these problems and now with the new ROM the problems have reappeared again.
The issue is when I am connected via bluetooth to my PC using Internet Sharing, every so often the Mogul will drop the network connection. It's really annoying. I noticed also that the bluetooth will turn itself off when this happens.
If I stream music or something where there is a continuous data stream, it won't disconnect, but if I am just surfing from page to page, it will drop the connection and I always have to reconnect.
Is it something I am doing wrong, or is this a bluetooth issue? I am connecting at 3Mbps using Bluetooth 2.0.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Bump!
Any ideas folks? I went out and bought another bluetooth usb adapter and installed it properly and I am still getting the same problem.
Can anyone help me?
My DSL modem went out yesterday and I have experienced this problem too. I'm running Vista on a Dell Latitude D830 with BT 2.0. After about 10 minutes, the BT setting on the Mogul is actually being disabled and I have to go back through Settings -> Connections -> Bluetooth and re-enable it.
Regards,
Tom
Just a little clarification, the disconnections and the Bluetooth icon turns off in the Connection Manager usually mean that the stack has crashed. When you Enable the functionality again you are starting the Bluetooth stack. Same problem was in the 2.16.651.0 firmware.

[Q] how to make bluetooth work in my car on energy ROM

So I have my amaze set up with everything working just as I would want it thanks to energy ROM (and HD Widgets, timerific, Apex Launcher, ..) There is on relatively major thing still giving me problem though. That's bluetooth connection for my car. In the energy ROM thread there are others reporting similar problems, so what can be done to fix this?
I have energy ROM and faux kernel - V19
I tried both settings - only visible to paired phones and no visibility timeout .. with same results
When I first add the phone to the car, the bluetooth pairing works, I can use car's bluetooth system to call out, receive a call etc.
Once I shut off the car and restart the car bluetooth connection fails.
If I turn off bluetooth on phone and turn it back on, bluetooth connection fails.
I tried to change the kernel to rubystock.zip from kozmik's thread. However, after I installed that kernel using 4ext recovery, the phone never booted
Anyone had success with other kernels, tweaks? Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Tried Faux 23b4 .. same results
So my current workaround is to add my phone to the car everytime I want to use bluetooth

WiFi disconnecting when using bluetooth headset

Seeking solution to the problem described shortly thereafter:
I have a Samsung Galaxy S III - GT I9300 - STOCK ZTO-4.1.1 without root.
I also have a headset bluetooth, Nokia BH-503 model.
When I listen to music via streaming (Rdio for example), and while connected via WiFi with the headset, the WiFi connection starts to disconnect and reconnect randomly. This only happens when I use my bluetooth headset.
I did the full wipe of the phone, I changed the channel of WiFi, static IP, have disabled the WiFi Power Save Mode (via * # 0011 #) and nothing of the problem being solved. Has anyone experienced this or have a solution to this problem?
Thank you.
Have experienced this problem with Sony MW-1. Changing any wifi or bluetooth-related settings did not fix anything.
I have the same problem with a Nokia MD-310 bluetooth receiver. From what I can determine it is a problem with Galaxy s3 and APT-X bluetooth audio. My SGS3 works fine with older A2DP bluetooth devices but as soon as connected to the MD-310 (apt-x) the wifi becomes flakey and eventually drops completely.
Did you have any luck with a solution for this?
I tried the same things as you, wifi channels, factory reset, but no improvement.
Have not had a problem with Samsung HS3000, use it all the time.
I've done some further digging and I believe it is related to WiFi and Bluetooth congestion through the sgs3 radio on the 2.4 GHz frequency.
+ At home I only have a single band WiFi AP (2.4 GHz) and can't maintain AptX Bluetooth streaming and WiFi connection. Audio skips until WiFi drops.
+ At work I have dual band WiFi. When connected on 5 Ghz I can stream AptX and maintain both connections well. Switch the AP to 2.4 Ghz, reconnect, and the audio starts skipping and soon after the WiFi drops.
Same behavior with two i9300s.
Regular A2DP Bluetooth works fine regardless, so it must just be the added bandwidth requirements of AptX that bring the radio to its knees.
I'm going to buy a dual band router for home and see how I go...
I know this is for 6 years ago,
I had this problem but that is solved now and i am going to say how, maybe someone have this problem right now.
I have samsung galaxy s5 and when i connected bluetooth headest and wifi be dissconnect
Now for solveing this problem:
First go to settings and then appliction manager
And show system apps
Then you must find bluetooth app and click that
Then you must click on "force stop" and then go to storage, now you must first clear cache and then clear data and you must restart an end
Now your problem probably is sloved
Sorry for my english because my languge is persian

Bluetooth problems

Just picked up my C5 Ultra, was happy until I tried to use its bluetooth with my car's built-in system (Mazda).
I have two problems:
- continuous stuttering to the point it's not usable, usually starts 1-2 minutes after starting to play music
- when trying to make a call, the phone doesn't route the call to the car, it shows it sending audio to bluetooth device, but no sound comes it also doesn't respond to the call end button in my car
Anybody else with bluetooth problems? Strange thing is it's only my car, it seems to work fine with my bluetooth headset. And there were no issues with my car with my old phones.
same problem here
Thank God someone posted this. I also have a bluetooth headset and from time to time, there's some stuttering then the music stops playing. To fix this, I have to turn off my bluetooth in my phone and restart my bluetooth headset and pair the two again.
I thought this issue is only limited to audio devices. I bought an LG watch urbane and from time to time, the watch gets disconnected. When I try to pair it again, it won't connect even if I try several times. It will only connect if I restart my watch and try to pair it again.
I also have a Moto 360, and there's a lot more random disconnects with this phone than any other phone I've used before. However, it does normally reconnect very quickly. But I did have to disable the vibrate on connect/disconnect because it got to be annoying.
I've given up on my car's bluetooth and using another bluetooth receiver and aux-in to my car's stereo. It seems that the older the bluetooth device, the more likely to have issues. Bluetooth 3.0/4.0 headsets seem to work fine.

by the way, I have tried my watch urbane connecting to my huawei 4x and it doesn't get disconnected randomly. If it gets disconnected because I left my phone from another room, it will quickly get connected again when I'm near unlike the C5 Ultra that needs my watch to be restarted to be able to connect again.
Check In settings -> xperia connectivity -> throw settings -> Auto-select wirelles option if it is close. if not, close and try. Maybe this help
Not working with my Huawei Watch, it gets paired but inmediatly disconnects asking "add as trusted device?" and after that it's imposible to reconnect. Any help will be will be welcomed.
This phone honestly sucks in many ways. I love the hardware but the software and the cpu is the problem on this phone. Bluetooth sucks, slow processor and ...yea..slow loading on everything. I know it's the phone's bluetooth that disconnects my bluetooth earphones and car audio because it never happened on my Nexus 6. We'll just have to wait till Sony releases Marshmallow on our phones.
Bluetooth cuts in and out when paired
Updated to marshmallow and my Bluetooth still cuts in and out when paired to my boss mini speaker .Sony really has to fix this if they want to remain in the competitive cellphone market. If any suggestions on how to solve this issue please help.
After the update I am also having problems with Bluetootn. In sleep mode Bluetootn off. Accordingly, all the time the connection is lost with the Sony SmartWatch 3 hours. Tired of this problem

Yup, bluetooth shutting off is causing all sorts of problems with my Pebble smartwatches too. Basically made them completely useless because of the disconnects soon after the phone is idle.
I'm pretty sure it's tied to the Doze function in Marshmallow, but even when I disable Doze for the Pebble watch app and bluetooth share app, I still have issues. I even got an app called "Disable Doze" to completely turn off Doze functionality. It seems to help, but I still have occasional drops.
Bluetooth seriously sucks on this phone...
Found a solution
I found out what causing that bluetooth disconnects on my Xperia C5 Ultra Dual. It's when wifi and bluetooth are turned on at the same time. I turned off wifi and bluetooth connection is now stable.
My pebble also was disconnecting and it was annoying with all the vibration and it wasn't event reconnecting. But after I turned off the wifi bug is gone. I read that this is a common bug with Xperia Sad...

I'll have to give that a try, I stopped using my C5 because I couldn't stand the bluetooth issues anymore. I'm using, of all things, my 4 year old Nexus 4 now (which I should say works perfectly...)
bluetooth of sonyc5ultra is worst working in connectivity . useless , disconnecting from blue tooth device by its own. Getting irritating by bluetooth issue.
Same Problem here also
I have BLUEDIO bluetooth headphone, it disconnect after restarting bluetooth in my sony c5. When I try to pair it again, it won't connect even if I try it again and again the whole day. It only connect if I restart sony c5 and try to pair it again.

HTC M9 Bluetooth problem

I have a M9 and am on ATT. After the last network update, my bluetooth doesn't work correctly. For example I use bluetooth to play music through my car stereo, the phone will connect play maybe 3 songs then the bluetooth will turn off. I recently went on a trip and connected the phone to the rental car's stereo and the same thing happened. I have tried turning off all of the power saving options, but that does not help. The only thing I can think of is to downgrade the "firmware" then upgrade it and see if that fixes the problem. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
