Phonetab Alps M874 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear fellow members. I'm exhausted trying to find my tablet ROM. I hope someone can give me a hand, thanks beforehand -
my tablet is 7 "(1024x600) ALPS brand, m874 model MTK6582 Cortex A7 CPU dual core (according Z-CPU when the tablet was walking) but the physical chip on the motherboard is a MT8312v, Mali 400 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB ROM, Dual Sim 3G.
Printed in the mother says M874MB v1.3 A
I tried to flash with flash tool SP but get errors 4008 and 4010).
Apparently not match the addresses of the user data partitions in emmc.
Try several roms that claim to be for 874, but nothing. The tablet PC recognizes the COM port, makes the red bar and stays there for a while and jump mistake minute 4010 or 4008
If anyone can help or offer any proof is appreciated.

[Q] Sansui Etab 801 Cortex A8 Problem

Update: I just got the original firmware sent via customer service.. but do not know if it would work or not.. Just updating..I'm scared cuz the firmware I flashed it with was for a Cortex A9 device.
I have a Sansui Etab 801 Cortex A8 Android Tablet. It got stuck in boot loop and after trying several firmwares which didnt work, kept asking for uImage_recovery, uImage, u-boot-aml-ucl.bin, factory_update_param.aml etc file. After some search I came across a ROM, for Ramos tablet, I used it cuz it has the uImage_recovery, uImage, u-boot-aml-ucl.bin, factory_update_param.aml files etc. When I inserted it into the TF card and did an upgrade, the device would not start up at all. Just some lights on the controls.
When I insert into PC, it recognizes it as M3-chip, I found out about the AML flashing tool..I am stuck at "write data to ram failed" and I guess it is because of usb_spl.bin. Is there a way to create a separate usb_spl.bin for my device or it IS IT THE SAME FOR ALL TABLETS?
If it is the same for all device, thats a problem as I'm just stuck at write data to ram failed.
HELP!
I found out that the firmware I flashed it with was for a Cortex A9 device...
Thanks!

This tablet got stuck on an Android logo. I tried to flash it with what the seller says was the correct firmware but it was not. And now I am stuck with it!!
Connects to SP Flash tool. I have installed the correct drivers. As well as I can connect with SP Flash Tool using Linux also.
Could someone please help me find the correct firmware for this tablet or if anyone has one, could they make a back up, which would be really good as I would know its 100% the correct one.

Hey, sorry for the long reply. I haven't been on here in years. I cannot remember now. I sent the tablet back in the end, as he gave me the file to flash to the tablet. I just got my money back, he gave me the file and the instructions on what to do, from the actual manufacturer in China, and this happened. So they are not good.
Currently looking for anything other than M-Rom for a Sony Xperia Z3+ Dual (Z4 in Japan rest of the world Z3+, very odd thing for Sony to do).

Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Mini Q620 (Philippines local brand smartphone) Issue: Deadboot

I have the device as per the title of this thread says. I've flashed recovery before using fastboot, but this time around, since the device is completely dead, as in it won't boot up, nor show any notification lights (I also tried removing the battery and connecting the charger to see if the logo will appear, but it did not), I don't have any means to connect it to my pc using fastboot. Is there a way that I can "program" a stock rom via pc without the help of fastboot and other recovery? Please enlighten me on this one, I needed some ideas. I've searched that mediatek have spflashtool with the scatter file which is, basically, for most of mediatek devices. I'm hesitant to try that one as this phone is running on a sc8830 spreadtrum chip.
So there, any kind of help are highly appreciated. Thank you XDA more power .

Help with "Ployer momo11 III" Allwinner A31s - Bricked

About a year back I bought this tablet second-hand, No box, no cords, no manual, nothing.
All I have to go on is what is written on the backcase and inside the actual tablet.
The thing is that this specific model seem to be spoken of very lightly on the internet and there's been alot of missinformation regarding the actual model name, the CPU and the kernel...
Long story short, I misstook my tablet for the "momo11 Bird" and downloaded CM10 from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821398
I flashed it, and as you can figure out, seeing I misstakenly downloaded a ROM for Rockchip when in reality I'm on a Allwinner A31s, I accidently bricked my device.
The key combination for recovery or fastboot does no longer work, and as I turn the tablet on it just shows the "ployer" logo and stays there.
It doesn't even reboot itself, it just shows the logo until the battery is dead.
After digging on the internet for what feels like forever, I now am almost entirely certain that I have successfully found the ACTUAL model in my possession.
Most important specs:
Product Type Tablet PC
Brand Ployer
Model MOMO11-III
Color Silver back cover
Shell Material Aluminum alloy
Operating System Stock Android 4.2 (Currently CM10 for momo11 Bird)
CPU Allwinner A31S Cortex-A7 quad-core 1.2GHz
GPU PowerVR SGX544 MP2
RAM 1GB DDR3
ROM (Nand Flash) 8GB
Now, in a desperate attempt to restore my tablet, I'm trying to locate either a stock firmware or a custom one, I don't really care aslong as it works.
The problem is that like previously mentioned, there's not alot of information regarding the "ployer momo11 iii"(momo11-3), and I have also not yet managed to find a ROM for it.
Another issue that I'm also faced with is that I can't seem to get my hands on any USB drivers for the tablet.
Is there anyone here who's got any experience with this tablet, or could help find the proper firmware, respectively the proper USB driver?
Someone please help as this is making me really sad....

[Need Help Unbricking] MTK6572 S6 SM-G920F Clone or ROM

Hello, I need help unbricking a MTK6572 S6 SM-G920F Clone. Or if you do have a ROM please provide me with one, I have used countless roms online to try and flash the phone to no avail. It keeps connecting and disconnecting once I connect the usb cable to it and the phone can't be detected when I place the batteries in it whilst flashing (sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't).
When I try to flash it brings up the usual message that messgae that says the ROM doesn't match, when I read the logs I think it says that there might be memory problem. (I am not sure, that is why I am here to consult with the experts)
As for the phones specs I am not so sure, I think it reads 32gb, 3gb ram, cpu is octa core, on the back of the box but I am sort of skeptical as the sd card read 16gb but is actually 4gb (also not sure if the rom of the phone was loaded on thisor was actually less than 1gb and loaded on the phone - as this was how I briefly saw it before the whole fiasco). As for the ram it might be 1gb or 512mb and the cpu cores might be dual core or quad core not octa core.
Any advice on how to proceed might be helpful. Have tried using a different computer and different cables with the same results still been seen. I could send debugs if this helps.

I ever say that is better to buy a device from an unknown brand that this kind of devices. atleast you will know what you are paying for.
The first you have to do is find the correct firmware/version that was builded for your specific model but this is impossible for unbranded devices so only you can do is to try many firmwares from similar devices under risk of brick it completely (if you didn´t yet).
You have to check/pay attention on the way that you are connecting it with pc, try with SPFlash Tool v5.1628 that is for this version and check only these partitions: System (android), boot (bootimg), EBR1, SECRO and userdata (nothing more in a first attempt), with battery disconnected (whole the process), tap on download and just now connect device.
About specs you can be sure that info it´s altered from the build.prop and also probably system partition doesn´t have more than 800MB maybe 1GB so you have to find a light firmware for it or you will find it out of memory.
Maybe this video can help you if you didn´t see it before https://youtu.be/hjm_b0yz5W4
