Snapchat Problem - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I logged out of Snapchat yesterday and when I tried to log back on a message popped up saying "Oops! You're using a version of Snapchat or operating system that's no longer supported. Please upgrade your device's operating system and update to the newest app version to use Snapchat. Thanks!"
I deleted the app and re installed the earlier version (9.1.3) tried to login and still the message popped up. So, without deleting my original account, I then created a new account to see if I could just sign in to Snapchat and it worked. So I signed out of my new account and typed in my original login the "Oops!" Message appeared again.
- How can I login with my original account? And why can I sign in with a new account but not my old account?

I updated to latest STOCK ROM this morning everything is smooth except for 2 things:
Titanium backup keeps crashing on start up and can't even launch it afterwards
Most importanly is Google play which gives me this error : Authentication is required. You need to sign into your Google Account.
no matter what i do it wont connect i tried 3 different accounts, wiped cache reflashed the ROM, nothing is working it was working before the update this morning

Backup Account Needed

Hello! I'm currently having a problem where my phone keeps clearing my backup (google) account and displaying a "backup account needed" message. Whenever I log back on with my google account it sticks for a minute and then disappears. Any idea what the source of the problem might be?

[Q] Remove Gmail app from rooted device

GS3 (d2att) running Clockworkmod and Cyanogenmod 11-20140812-nightly-d2lte
Attempting to install blacked out version of Gmail but need to remove existing version of Gmail but I get the error "an existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed."
My search came up with most folks looking to remove their Gmail account not the app. The few I saw trying to remove the app were not rooted. Surely I am not the first person with this issue.
So I tried to remove Gmail with Titanium Backup but it just reinstalls itself automatically without prompting.
Tried to freeze then uninstall with no change.
Turned off my data and wifi and still have the same result.
Removed my Google account but still the same result.
What am I doing wrong? I just want to remove Gmail and install a different version. I have never had so much trouble.
Thx.

I'd use a file Explorer and go into two different folders. System/app and data/app if you find anything labeled Gmail delete it and reboot. That should solve your problem

Unable to remove all traces of an app

Hello,
Recently, I installed a game called Summoner's War. It asked me to create an account, which I did. I later reinstalled the app, and went to login. In the username box, it had the history of my login username, so i just thought it was stored in history somewhere. Clearing data doesn't seem to make it forget what I logged in as. I've tried to factory reset, flash another rom, format everything I could, download an apk from the site and never link my google account to device, but it still remembers what account I logged in from (Note: I flashed rom from external SD, but remove it afterwards). I have a Galaxy Tab 3 (SM-T210R), and am desperate to find out how I can remove all traces of my activity. Any help? Thanks!

Well, first of all make sure you are signed in over to your Google account and head over to the
https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions?pli=1 and look for the name Summoner's War and revoke the app permission. See if that help your out !
Blah..

Yes, I logged into the website to delete my account. When I opened the game, it still popped up asking me to login (and still displays my username in the box.. like auto form fill, but I can't clear form history).

As I said, I flashed a new rom and didn't sign into google, downloaded apk from another site, and it still showed my login info. I went ahead and revoked all access, and it still shows it.
I can only conclude that either the game server remembers my device's MAC address (since I've tried proxies, tethering to my phone, using someone else's wifi..) or that it leaves a file somewhere on my phone that I can't find (even though I've reformatted everything I could find in CWM Recovery, and wiped my external SD card).

No ability to login to google account

Hi, I have a problem with my newly purchased phone.
I bought a device from a third party who bought the device in the Polish Carrier. And "only once, run to see if it works".
"The device has been reset. To continue, sign in to a Google account that was previously synced on this device." I have a message. I can not skip this configuration.
I have read some of the forums - and one solution is to wait 24 hours (this message also gets when trying to login to different google accounts). But the problem is from Friday.
Can I solve the problem myself? No by writing custom recovery?
WIPE from standard recovery unfortunately does not help.
If u are rooted than u can use a app names play store fixer
